4.4.2 Why the keyboard is almost the same as it was on 4.2.2?
Use a classic phone that will support emoji. That is exactly the s4 mini ...
Is there any way to get to our zoom?

You can search in play store. There are so many custom keyboards with emo. Or if you want same like u saw in s4 mini you can download its rom and extract it or use adb and pull the apk if you or your friend got the device.

My girlfriend is thinking of getting the Moto Defy when it comes out but loves Swype and the Samsung Keyboard. I know she will be able to download Swype but would an APK of the Sammy install?
There are much better options out there, has she tried better keyboard or anything else really? Idk about the port.

Why would you want to install the Samsung APK instead of just downloading Swype?
I was wondering about the samsung keyboard apk, not the samsung apk of swype.

I did not understand what you trying to tell. Kindly can you explain.
He basically saying that SVoice is really just for show, to let you get a taster of voice commands and the is another app called 'Jeannie' which is a similar kind of thing.

Hi
The new Sammy keyboard in the 4.1.2 update is amazing.
My girlfriend has a sony Xperia T.
Is there a way to get the keyboard extracted of my phone as an .apk and install it on her phone?
Thanks in advance!

I dunno. Try making a nandroid backup then extract the apk from there and try to install as a normal ap, if not, install as system app
Don't actually know if it would work at all tho.

Hello. I was wondering can we use/port the optical reader app from galaxy s4? Do we need the framework from s4 for the apps to work? For me the app was better than googles googles and doesnt require internet connection to work. If someone could port it i would be very thankful!

Hi guys.
I am currently using Pac man ROM 4.3 nightly with provided kernel.
I love the rom except the android keyboard.. Next word predictions are not working.. I love the swiftkey like keyboard.. Can any one suggest me best keyboard for cm 10.2 if possible provide link
Sent from my Xperia Mini using xda app-developers app
In Language & input -> Google keyboard -> Gesture Typing you are able to enable the gestures (like in swiftkey). You are also able to enable "next word suggestions" which should work for you

Dude in language and input section there are only two options.. Android keyboard and Google voice typing.. I have enabled gesture typing which works fine but next word predictions which is also enabled is not working

Try installing this . It's the official Google keyboard in the playstore. Then enable it in language & input and try it. It's working great for me on my nexus 4

Search for a flashable Google keyboard zip on xda (for cm10.2/Android 4.3) and flash it in the recovery. Or just search for the .apk and install it
