[Q] Problem in porting a ROM - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I ported Cubot V1.0 for mu iBerry Auxus Nuclea N2. During booting up after flashing the screen goes off. I again restarted the phone after taking out its battery and re-inserting. The phone booted up, I initialized the google settings and left for some time. The screen went off, when I tried to switch on the screen by pressing the power button and/or home button the screen did not turn up, only back button menu button back light lit up. What could be the problem and what can I do to solve this problem?

[Strange][4.1.2 LSD] - Screen turns on by itself (only while at lockscreen)

Rom Wanamlite v14.1 (LSD)(4.1.2)
Kernel - Tried all of them (Currently Jeboo v2.1)
Theme - Crusseder's
When I press HW Power button to turn off screen, I get the CRT OFF, and screen turns off well.
But, if I do it when I currently seeing the lock screen (I use pattern lock) then after pressing the Power button, the screen turns off and immediatly turn on again (by itself).
Then, I press power button again, screen turns off, but turns on again by itself.
Then, I press power button again (3rd time), screen turns off well.
What is going on ?
Am I the only one having this ?
Could it be HW fault ?

[Q] Phone Died?

So today my phone started vibrating continuously--it was on the HTC boot screen with screen brightness at very very low and would not stop vibrating. I held down the power button, and after 20 seconds of holding it down, the phone finally stopped. However, not it will not boot back up. I hold the power button down for long periods of time and nothing happens. After letting go of the button, sometimes it does a single vibrate but the screen remains blank. Power button and vol-down does not boot into the bootloader either....Can anyone help me fix this? I have no backup phones I can use...
Just some info about my phone, I was running the newest 3.17 stock rooted ota with Arcreactor kernel. I was also S-OFF via moonshine.

Rebooting instead of wake up

Hi,
after I replaced my broken screen and power button my HOX+ keep rebooting when I want to wake up him. I Thought I can fix it by software so I installed this rom: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2122390
I changed behaviors of buttons to try wake my screen but when I use these buttons it keeps rebooting! (Sweep2Wake option is disabled)
Is there any solution for this issue? :crying:
Additionally I would like to say power button works correct on recovery mode.
Today I flashed CyanogenMod 11 and now power button wake up my phone but it dont response to touch and after few seconds (~6sec) it reboots

RN5 Black lit screen after update

Hello everybody,
This morning my Redmi Note 5 ask me install an update.
I did as asked.
Since The phone is not booting, no logo, only a back lit black screen.
When I push the power button for several seconds, the screen turns off then the backlight turns on and that'all.
I try to boot in recovery mode with "Volume Up" and Power Button, but I get the same behavior.
Does anyone have an idea what to do?
Thanks and best regards
I have the same problem, no signs of life. None of the button combinations work. Phone seems to be dead. I flash in EDL mode but can't power on phone

Once screen go to sleep there is no way to wake it up

Good Evening
I own a Samsung Tab S2 (SM-T810) and I am running stock firmware (Android 7.0), rooted and TWRP as a custom recovery.
Yesterday i was using my tablet when the screen suddenly turn off, i tried to turn on the screen as i usually do, with my power button but it doesn't work, i connect the charger and the screen wont turn on (like usually do).
So i go to TWRP and i realize that every button was working in there, if the screen turn off i can wake up with power or home button like i normally do on the stock OS
The problem begins when the system (Android 7) initialize, the navigation bar + home button wont work from the beginning , the power button works only for turning off the screen but not to turn it on, the volume buttons work until the screen turns off
Once the screen is off there is no way to turn it on, neither power button, connecting it to the power, or notification, the only way is restarting the device by long pressing the power + volume down
I already do:
wipe Data, Cache and Dalvik from TWRP
Reflash my stock firmware with Odin
This is my first time posting a question on this site, if you need more information please let me know.
Thanks in advance
I just remove the Samsung cover from my tablet and it fixed the problem!
