Hello all, after applying the 1.6 update over 1.6RC6 my data folder is showing no folders so I can't place the x.x.1 update in the UrukUpdate folder on the device main memory, nor can I create one with File Expert. Is there anything I can do or is the only solution reinstalling 1.6 fresh?
After the update you have to set the filemanager again to use root rights.
Nevermind, switched to another file manager and folder showed up. Thanks for the help!
Hi!
After flashing a few 4.2.1 ROMs I have 0 folder (and another one in this one and so on). Tried wiping, changing permissions in root explorer etc. and I have no more ideas how to delete it . Is it possible and if yes-how?
Sorry for my poor English, it isn't my native languag e.
Are you still using a 4.2 ROM? JB 4.2 ROMs will create 0 folders. Copy all data from the internal sd somewhere and delete the whole lot and reboot. The phone will create new "clean" folders. Just move the files back to where they are supposed to go.
Hello there.
Running Samsung Galaxy S III with CyanogenMod 10.
One day I made a backup of my phone via ClockWorkMod like every good boy should, and updated to CyanogenMod 10.1
After a few minutes I realized I didn't exactly what 10.1 just yet, and wanted to switch back to 10.
So I went to ClockWorkMod and restored my backup.
Now in my folder, I have all of the normal folders in the /sdcard/ directory, but I also have a 0 folder (which I found is a feature in 4.2.1 to allow for multiple users or something of that sort?).
Basically I want to safely remove the "0" folder, but merage all of the goodies in it with the stuff in my /sdcard/ folder, so it will be back to the way it was before I got 10.2/4.2.1 and just have all of my stuff on my /sdcard/ area.
How should I go about doing this?
Thank you!
Just use root explorer (what I used and know it works) or another file manager, then select all files, click move, then move upto the /mnt/sdcard/ folder and paste it there

Hello,
Today I updated one of my friends phone to Android 4.3 from Android 4.1.2. I rooted it and installed a custom ROM. The problem is, all images, songs, files, everything is gone. The strange thing is that storage is used by more than 4 GB (the same use before losing data). When I go to install ZIP from the recovery, there is a 0 folder inside SD Card, however, I cannot access it normally using a file manager, not even using ES file manager or root explorer.
Any ideas?
Note: Better say, file managers can only go to sdcard/0 which has empty folders. How to go to sdcard?
Read the sticky thread in general forum on changes to file structure between 4.1 and 4.3.
Hi guys,
Running Galaxy S4 with Stock 5.0.1 rom. Device is rooted. I had backed up mmssms.db file, BUT NOT mmssms.db-shm and mmssms.db-wal files.
Today i copied back (overwrote old one) mmssms.db to the original location /data/data/com.android.providers.telephony folder with chmod 660 is preserved, i CANNOT see my restored SMSes even after reboot.
There is something wrong. I also wonder why mmssms.db file is NOT being updated eventhough messaging is going on?
Please, i need an urgent help!
Thanks a lot!
