I rooted my GT-i8552 and installed CW recovery mode with stock rom, and everthing worked well. When I factory resetted my device from security and backups, everytime the device is rebooting in CW recovery mode, no sign of OS, everything is gone, I think, because no matter I remove battery and restart device, it is booting into recovery mode only. So I tried to unroot and install stock rom using Odin, but in every PC I've tried, it is showing "driver installation fail" even after re-installing software properly.
So what to do in this case?
I want to install stock rom again.
Any help?
Thanks
If you are in CWM recovery, you can flash a zip file of any custom rom. If you aren't, you don't have other option than flash firmware with Odin. Ensure that your PC is connected and let it search on internet for drivers, and it shall be recognized... or install Kies, this program ships drivers for Samsung devices
Still booting into recovery mode

I tried to install this custom rom http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2557882
But it is showing me error E:unknown volume for path [/sd-ext] while wiping dalvik cache. After it shows successful wipe message.
When i reboot system after installing rom and gapps, it still boots into recovery mode.
What to do now?

You should pick another rom, this one is unstable and a lot of things don't work. Trust me.

Use Odin to reflash CWM, and tick the option "Auto Reboot". It will solve the bootloop.

First read the faqs and guides before playing with firmware .
Suggest you read TWRP instructions and flash via Odin .

Hey I 'm new here and I need a help let me start from first yesterday i tried to install TransWin Cutom Rom for GT-I8552 I couldnt install cwm recovery by odin method so I rooted my phone first with RootGenius and tried to flash cwm recovery with rashr app this app successfully flashed cwm recovery in my phone and after that a pop up appeared saying that whether i wanted to go to recovery or not so I clicked yes and in a couple of seconds I was in the recovery mode I already had the rom in my extSD so I flashed the rom and when I tried to reboot the system I was booted again in the recovery I guess I was in cwm recovery bootloop so I thought I should try to flash stock rom via odin , I was in the recovery mode so I went to advance options and from there I chose 'reboot to bootloader' and then I was able to enter download mode so I connected my phone to laptop via usb data cable after connecting I opened odin but niether did odin recognize my phone and nor did my laptop it recognizes another phones but not mine than I thought to install another rom in a hope that it would help me so I downloaded DroidWin Rom moved to extSD and flashed it successfully but even that didnt helped me I was again in the cwm recovery bootloop I tried all the "CWM RECOVERY LOOP FIX" available on google but unfortunately all in vain is it some sort of hardware problem or its a software problem anyways whatever it is the main point is WHAT SHOULD I DO NOW TO RECOVER MY PHONE CAN ANYONE PLEASE HELP ME ?

If you don't have a nandroid backup, then you will need to reflash the stock firmware via Odin and start over.
I didn't make a nandroid backup but it doesn't bother me much about losing data. I tried using Odin but I can't seem to understand how to use it.
Sent from my GT-S7500 using XDA Free mobile app

There are a zillion guides around here, YouTube, etc on how it works. It's basically the same for almost any Samsung.
Download the appropriate firmware for your phone / carrier / region
Install drivers, if needed
Open Odin as Admin
Plug phone in Download Mode to PC
Odin should register phone as COM:XX where XX could be any numbers
Load the firmware in the PDA or AP slot, depending on which Odin version being used
After file is checked, hit Start
Wait patiently
Phone should reboot on it's own
If phone bootloops after successful flash, then reboot to the stock recovery and perform a factory data reset

Bro can u help me also............i was using CWM 5.x.x.x and then i flashed CWM 6.x.x.x....i flashed the Kitkat ROM but when i tried to reboot it, it went back to the CWM 6.x.x.x recovery mode
Then i tried to reflash using a the stock ROM, and also installed the GAPPS, but when i tried to reboot , it says it says "No Root Access, Root Device"
No matter what i select 'yes' or 'no' it says -->
It comes back to the CWM 6.x.x.x recovery mode
When i tried to reroot it using the "Update.zip"..........It says -->
E:Error in storage sdcard0 update.zip
(status 0)
Installation aborted
And No matter what i do it does not go out of the CWM 6.x.x.x Recovery Boot
I cleared the "Data", "Cache", "Dalvik Cache".................nothing worked
PLZ HELP:crying::crying::crying:
so, simple, i can't find a goot tutorial on how to flash a recovery, i tried with odin 3.0.4 and i've flashed twpr 2.8.6.1, cwm 6.0.4.7 and another cwm version, after the flash with odin if i restart the phone i still have the original recovery
for now i manage to root it following this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s3/help/how-to-root-galaxy-s3-i9300-android-4-3-t3104969
now let's see if i can flash the recovery with rom manager or odin mobile
done using rom manager, thanks anyway
When you were using Odin did it automatically restart? Or did you uncheck that option?

i'm not sure honestly, i think it automatically restart
Letting it auto restart means the stock recovery reinstalls. You need to let it finish without a reboot. Then do a battery pull and then try boot into recovery. Then it will stick.

the other day i experience a sudden random reboot. random reboots are always happening. but this time my phone won't proceed as normal after rebooting. phone stucked at samsung logo (where the yellow triangle usually appears). also i cannot proceed pass to recovery logo, i'm using TWRP 3.0.2.1 stucked at twrp logo too and cannot proceed to where the controls are. but download mode seems fine. i tried flashing recovery through odin and heimdall but it fails.
i don't know if download mode is also getting stuck/freeze. but odin seems to recognize the phone but i cannot flash any recovery/kernel.
pls help me. i also want to recover my files. using adb pull doesn't work also as it cannot read my device.
my current rom is resurrection remix m.

No it's cwm kitkat compatible recovery, use it to flash isorec kernel then TWRP 3, and then flash the rom.
Flash that recovery with Odin, and in recovery, flash this kernel, and flash TWRP 3, then reboot recovery and you should find TWRP 3 installed.

In odin or recovery?
Edit: i see now it fails in Odin, what version of Odin do you use?
Also try other cables and USB ports, and make sure you installed the drivers correctly
