does not work..

Ditto....sucks, but glad to see I'm not the only one having this issuem..thought maybe i did something wrong! Hopefully fixed soon!! Terrible SOT.. 1h 45min and only 10% battery left.. :-s i know it will take a few days to stabilize, but lack of Greenify isnt helping!

Try the greenify beta. Works for me when I hit 'Put into hibernation now'.

Confirmed!!! Nice tip, thanks! .

There is an update in Google play..
So its working now

If you are all on Lollipop, Greenify will not work in the normal way. It may work manually.
Greenify requires Xposed or root to work fully. Xposed for Lollipop is yet to come. May not come in the near future. I do not know whether you had root before Lollipop. You may have lost it. So you have to use non root option for Greenify to work.

Or simply root the device..

gudluck

I don't understand. Greenify is working fine for me on Android 5.0... Why would it not work for others? My apps get greenified automatically in root mode.

They were probably using the earlier version and you are using the updated version on Play Store.

I based my reply on the post by @petenatas who reports that Greenify is working for him in root mode on Android 5. I don't have Lollipop, so I can't confirm.
There is no official announcement.

Thanks.

Greenify 2.5 works fine here on

I have now moved to Lollipop on my Nexus 7 and Greenify 2.5 works in root mode.

Thank you. Good to know. One down.
I now have to wait for xgravity, xprivacy to also work and all the lollipop bugs to be fixed..... ?

Anyone else notice that greenify makes the screen lock come back despite trusted devices connected? Or is it just me?

Uh...it can be used very effectively on Lollipop. It will still save most people a ton of battery; it's just a little more coarse.
thx
Tks God that greenify /root / xpose now are available on Lollipop, Fb app kill my battery a lot.

Android System WebView v40

Does anyone have Android System WebView updated to v40? If so can you upload the apk? I tried updating from apkmirror.com last night before realizing our version is arm64. While the APK mirror one installed, it broke some other apps (like Feedly). I had to uninstall the update. Now I'm back to v37 installed. Play Store shows there's an update for the app but it says my device isn't compatible so it doesn't update it.
Apkmirror doesn't have any arm64 versions so I guess I'd need to get it from another phone that's been updated.
TIA
The Nexus 6 is 64 bit isn't it? Maybe check that forum?

I actually still have a Nexus 6 (waiting for someone to buy it) and it got upgraded to the same version on apkmirror, not the arm64 version I can't find. Thanks for the suggestion though.

No longer allows system app hibernation?

I wanna buy this app. But I was reading some reviews that in recent update, it can no longer hibernate system apps?
Here's a direct quote:
"No longer allows system app hibernation This app worked great until they updated it yesterday. I paid 3 bucks to have the ability to greenify Google maps and such because it sucks battery. Worked fine before the update, but now it tells me I can't hibernate system apps!! What did I pay for???"
Can anyone clarify this issue?

It still hibernates system apps. You have to enable it in Device Administrator and a couple of other places for it to work as intended.

Well if u r rooted use 3c toolbox and got application manager and uninstall system apps u dont like and reinstall them, then they become user apps and u can hibernate them.

If you have the donate version, after installing it, go to Xposed/modules and click the checkbox for Greenify and reboot. Once rebooted, go to SETTINGS>SECURITY>Device Administrators and enable Greenify. Then go to SETTINGS>Accessibility and enable Greenify. If any other dialogs pop up asking for allowing Greenify, allow them also.
Then open Greenify, click the menu button and choose Experimental Features and enable greenifying system apps and any other options.
Then on the main screen, choose the apps you want to Greenify.
That is all.

I Don't have paid version. I am inquiring about the apps ability to hibernate system apps before I Buy it.
And I have a Galaxy S5 running lollipop so xposed is out of question since its requires deoxed rom (And I am running Stock ROM)
What I really want is an official explanation or confirmation from the developer himself, if his app is capable of hibernating system apps without Xposed or removing and installing system apps as user apps.
As someone else pointed that xposed is necessary to enable experimental features, i did not want all that stuff so I decided to uninstall system apps and install as user apps.

System app hibernation is possible only with Xposed and donation pack.
If you want this straight from the horse's mouth, wait for the horse.

I'm pretty sure most people are gonna try that, so I'll save you five minutes.

Snapcheck checks for Xposed (because of Snapprefs), but I guess they don't check for the app. Just noting that for anyone who tries it; saving time.
Hy there,
This module caused a heavy lag/freeze and bootloop for me. Managed start the phone again (idk how), and removed it from xposed, now everything's working fine.
Phone: Sony Z2 (D6503) with pre-rooted android MM (6.01)
This works perfect to hide @Shaftamle keyboards from play services so they don't fc. Thank you!!
Did it works for hide Snapchat?
Android Pay would be another nice app if this would work using this method. I know I've tried others like root cloak etc. and other methods but they don't work unfortunately.

Hello,
Sadly it's still laggy, and still causes bootlop.
I try to post a log from mega (file was too big for pastebin, and I don't know how to upload it here yet)

And ofc I don't have enough posts
Tried hiding Messenger from Facebook and it worked lol.
Tested on Samsung Galaxy Note II GT-N7100 TW 4.4.2
Just a little suggestion ....
Add a little note for example; color the row of the app that's been hidden from any other app so you know which apps are hidden just by opening the main apps menu.

If i can suggest one more thing [emoji5] ...
When you select an app from the main menu, then get into the 2nd internal one; remove the auto focus on the text box so that you dont have to see the keyboard everytime.
And show a toast message to say for example "the app is hidden now" when you press the button.
Thanks so much for your work.

upload new versions if you'd like to check again. it fixed a bootloop on my device which happened after a system crash (some weird case)
turns out it was class cast exception on a return argument, and the caller turned out to be system app.

Is it possible that it won't work with the official beta app of Twitter? Also, but this may be because I pay more attention, I feel that I get even more Ads on beta 6.46 now.

Everything seems to work just perfectly. Awesome, thanks m8! I'll report back if something changes.
Finally! Thanks a lot for this! Working with no bugs for now. ??
Intermittently seeing promotions/ads in 6.49. Downgraded back to 6.47 and works perfectly again. So I'd avoid updating to newest Twitter update if possible.
Thanks, it works on the last update too! (edit: after some usage I notice a little choppy in scroll, maybe its the app itself but I feel the scroll not smooth as used to be before, but again maybe its the update of the app itself)
May this module have anything to do with the new design update? I mean, I can't see Twitter new design in the Android app yet.
