Does anyone have Android System WebView updated to v40? If so can you upload the apk? I tried updating from apkmirror.com last night before realizing our version is arm64. While the APK mirror one installed, it broke some other apps (like Feedly). I had to uninstall the update. Now I'm back to v37 installed. Play Store shows there's an update for the app but it says my device isn't compatible so it doesn't update it.
Apkmirror doesn't have any arm64 versions so I guess I'd need to get it from another phone that's been updated.
TIA
The Nexus 6 is 64 bit isn't it? Maybe check that forum?

I actually still have a Nexus 6 (waiting for someone to buy it) and it got upgraded to the same version on apkmirror, not the arm64 version I can't find. Thanks for the suggestion though.

The Galaxy Note 2 does not have Android 4.4 KitKat support yet. Even the 4.3 builds aren't official as of the time of this posting. You should only install apk files compatible with your version of Android.

I have installed some of the leaked APKs with no problem. I'm currently using the updated keyboard and hangouts with no problems.
OP - what were you trying to install and where did you get the files?
I have used these with no problems. http://www.droid-life.com/2013/10/31/download-new-google-apps-from-the-nexus-5-dump-search-launcher-and-more/

Ditto....sucks, but glad to see I'm not the only one having this issuem..thought maybe i did something wrong! Hopefully fixed soon!! Terrible SOT.. 1h 45min and only 10% battery left.. :-s i know it will take a few days to stabilize, but lack of Greenify isnt helping!
Try the greenify beta. Works for me when I hit 'Put into hibernation now'.

Confirmed!!! Nice tip, thanks! .
There is an update in Google play..
So its working now
Sent from my Nexus 5 using XDA Free mobile app
If you are all on Lollipop, Greenify will not work in the normal way. It may work manually.
Greenify requires Xposed or root to work fully. Xposed for Lollipop is yet to come. May not come in the near future. I do not know whether you had root before Lollipop. You may have lost it. So you have to use non root option for Greenify to work.
Or simply root the device..

gudluck
I don't understand. Greenify is working fine for me on Android 5.0... Why would it not work for others? My apps get greenified automatically in root mode.

I based my reply on the post by @petenatas who reports that Greenify is working for him in root mode on Android 5. I don't have Lollipop, so I can't confirm.
There is no official announcement.
Thanks.
Greenify 2.5 works fine here on
Lollipop Rastapop 5.0 Nexus 5 rooted

I have now moved to Lollipop on my Nexus 7 and Greenify 2.5 works in root mode.
Thank you. Good to know. One down.
I now have to wait for xgravity, xprivacy to also work and all the lollipop bugs to be fixed..... ?
Anyone else notice that greenify makes the screen lock come back despite trusted devices connected? Or is it just me?
I Odin back to stock just so I could get the update but I have not seem any notification of anything and it says my sw is up to date. I was rooted but no longer.
Does anyone know the new version number? Or am I missing something?
Thanks

I do not remember my phone saying this app updated. When I check the play store for Samsung Push Services I only see a Uninstall option no update. So I am guessing I have the update installed for better battery life but I am not sure how to tell. It does not look like you can open the app.

check the version on Play Store and your current installed version you will know then, also the Samsung Push Service is a service not a apps so cant not open it.
I wanted to post this because I search several times and never found any hits but randomly found this APK somewhere that works just fine activating Galaxy Labs on the AT&T model S7. Go to advanced features after install and you should see Galaxy labs. This allows you to disable the app drawer. So it is like an iPhone home screen expect you have widgets also! No root required.
Thanks for this. Quick Dial seems like it might be a useful feature.
Wow easy install and works great thank you!

You need to click the small text on the warning page that says "install anyway (unsafe)" Or something similar to that.
Clicking OK, is basically saying you don't want to proceed.
why did you manually sign it ?
maybe edited the apk ?
Weird why the sign it alerted system. Hmm
BTW it doesn't work on AT&T Android 7.0

Did you find an apk for it somewhere? I thought that other than using GI in Allo, it was limited to the new Pixel phones.
