Hi
i got this simple question :
in kitkat, i had the pattern lockscreen as soon as it opened.
now in lollipop i have to first click on the lock down at the middle... which is longer ... i know i'm a psycho...
can i put the pattern (or numbers or whatever) back straight at phone turn on?
thanks
régis
Me too, it's so annoying!
Can't see anywhere in the settings to turn it off.

Hi forum friends , I just want to ask if anyone has had this problem before, I installed CyanogenMod 6.1.3 V4 yesurday and everything was workig perfect till today when the slider lock (wich is at the end of the screen you know you have to swipe it to be able to use the Cell phone) is gone i restarted the phone and waited all the day but it was gone and i couldnt lock the phone again , it was a big problem because i couldnt lock my phone and put it in my pocket because when i did it the phone opens inside my pocket.
so i decided to reset it and reinstall the rom again , and so far the phone is fine now
but i just want to know if anyone has had this problem before if yes is there anyone to enable the screen slider lock rather than resetting the phone?
thanks
Hi guys,
I realized that the lockscreen is doing nothing in the sense of the security on the S2. I am using a lock pattern and sometimes when I get a text call, or press the sleep/wake button a couple times, I can unlock the screen without the pattern. Anyone else notice this?
I read about this a while ago, some bug with TouchWiz 4.0
security *FLAW* found...

Yup, I noticed this also... on my 2nd day... I was *informed* that if I truly wanted to SECURE the phone 100% with PIN/PASSWORD/Pattern, I would have to choose LOCK immediately, otherwise, every other swipe the phone can be unlocked without it... EXACTLY like you experienced it.
Just change it to IMMEDIATE and you should be fine...

You want to set the Lock Timeout to Immediately (to clarify things) Located in Settings->Location and Security->Timeout
Hi
Just got the Sprint Marshmallow update.
I have two questions:
1. Is there ANY WAY to get back to the lollipop type lock screen? I hate having to swipe AND put in my pattern. Why should I have to do the extra swipe step? I can't see why anyone would intentionally decide to code something to make it more difficult.
2. I have had custom lock screens since I have had androids...but thanks to this dumb update...anytime I turn my phone off and back on, it loses my custom lock screen and back to the default. I
Any way that I can turn off my phone and have my custom lock screen too?
Thanks for reading!
Hello there,
Well I think everything is in the topic, but a lil' background is never useless
I got a good old Galaxy S4 mini (second edition, with the quad core cpu). I wanted to have the feel of a new phone so I installed Lineage OS 14.1 (the only stable custom rom for my phone), I like it mostly but there are a couple of things that makes it annoying.
One of them is that I liked on the samsung to unlock it fast, meaning, when the phone is locked (screen off), I press the home button, the screen switches on, and I can directly type the PIN code to unlock the phone. From the Lineage settings you can set it up so that the PIN tab loads directly (actually you prevent the lock screen from loading), but you get nothing else from this screen ! No notification, no battery life, not even time....
Basically, I'd like to have all in one lockscreen because I don't like to swipe and lose time, I don't have much notifications, so a screen with half PIN pad and half time/notifications (maybe wdiget) would be perfect ! The ideal would also be not to have to press OK when entering the PIN code, you enter the X valid characters and this is it.
What lockscren would you advise me to test ?
Sorry, just upping the thread, it never appeared on first page as it was moved from an other section of the forum.
I hope someone will know about a lockscreen that would fit my needs
Hey everyone,
I'm having a weird issue with my Samsung Galaxy A3 2016 (Android 7.0, rooted with SuperSU). When i set a screen lock (pattern, pincode or password), I get a delay on my lockscreen. If I draw my pattern, it gets stuck for a couple of seconds and then it unlocks. Same with pincode or password; if I put in my pincode/password and click ok, it also gets stuck and unlocks a little later. Sometimes it gets stuck for so long that my phone locks automatically, it's really frustrating. When you go to settings and change the screen lock, you have to give your current screen lock. It also gets stuck on that when I put in my current pattern/pincode/password. But when I choose a swipe lock, it doesn't have this problem. Maybe it has to do with the authentication of the pattern/pincode/password? I have no idea. Can someone help me out?
Best regards
