I installed Cyanogen for my Thunderbolt and have been getting some really bad speed tests.
Through another app it told me I was in Belarus, anyone else have this problem and know how to fix it?

I don't know if its the same kind thing.
Thanks. I'll give it a shot.
still trying to get a answer
I thought it did but I just saw a spec sheet and did not see it listed so I am not sure now.
Yes, the antenna for it is in the battery door like how the blackberry9900 is. There are 2 metal contacts on the inside of the battery door.
Image 8 shows the contacts

Yes, it is in the AT&T version. It is not listed as a spec though.
All the new AT&T phones (the high end versions anyway) all come with NFC but none of them have working software stack. Basically they are disabled until AT&T sponsored ISIS takes off. So, consider the NFC as non-functional until AT&T has a change of heart.

Or until we have a canadian or korean rom that has it enabled. Both my ATT skyrockets have nfc enabled through a rogers rom
And it actually works? Which rom? I have seen it but have not been able to get it to work.

I'm using skyROCKeteer and it works. Problem is gingerbread doesn't have nfc push capabilities so I can only receive stuff from a gnex or icsd nexus s

Anyone else find it pretty coincidental that as the Galaxy Note comes out that Google Wallet opens up to AT&T Nexus phones on the Android Market. I wouldn't give your hopes up, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
With all the security problems (two ways for other ppl to reset the GWallet pin on your phone, one requires root, one doesn't) recently discovered in GWallet, I will steer clear of that app.
Had an image sent to me by a friend and she asked why the contacts backup keeps failing-thing is she doesn't want it appearing and wants to disable it. She claims it isn't launchable but i am not nearby to assist.
She has an s2 and it is orange branded. Look familiar to anyone with this handset?

Orange backup?
My opinions are just that.
I'm not sure if anyone will know this. I have a samsung galaxy SII that is still on contract with Sprint. I want to sale the phone but can't because my ex won't cancel the contract. If I root the phone would I then be able to switch it into someone elses number? If not, does anyone know how I can (Sprint will not help me at all)

Hey guys. I searched around and didn't find a similar thread.
I have a Nexus 5 with Rogers wireless in Canada. They claim to be able to disable the phone in the event of theft to stop it from being used with any carrier.
I was wondering if anyone has any technical details on this process. If I have the phone unlocked and rooted would there be anyway around this lock out?
Any details would be appreciated. Thanks!
