Are you saying ANY rom you install locks up after a few minutes? Is your device getting very warm?
Yes, my device overheats and shuts down , I remove the battery to return , this is solved or not yet?
If it overheats as well on just a clean ROM flash, you likely have hardware issues. Try a different ROM like Plain Andy or Evervolv and do not restore apps.
Also, are you on the hboot and radios?
If I have to hboot and radio, but I keep up to date on s -on and can not find a simple tutorial to go to s -off , any advice?

Not sure I understand... As long as you can boot on a custom ROM, or an insecure kernel like Funky kernel, you can use rumrunner to S-off... No tutorial is needed, just follow the instructions at rumrunner.us
I've done everything already in s -off hboot and updated radio, I went to install the ROM LS but continues with the same problem, it overheats and shuts down , I have to pull the battery to bring it back to normal! What else I can do? Your rum where are you? Has faults ? This in Spanish ? 4.4.4 is ?

I do not own the Rezound anymore, although I had several, and take care of the the Rezound Q&A and FAQ threads since... well, because I volunteered I guess...
Overheating is generally not a ROM issue, it is a hardware or corruption of firmware issue... If you have reflashed all firmware and radios and reflashed a clean known good ROM (I would put LS in this category) and the overheating continues, you have either a bad battery or a defective device. Overheating was a known issue with this device, and in some instances was a real problem, and if you add a minor defect in the right place it would downright make the phone unusable.
Is LiquidSmooth a spanish capable ROM? I don't know, but most Android ROMs are capable of changing languages and Spanish is one of the most common languages in the world, you would be a better judge if Spanish is up to standards in the ROM then me.
It has helped me a lot , I appreciate !

Being a junior member with so few posts, you're going to have to be a lot more user-friendly to start getting followers. Well established developers list full details of what's entailed in their roms. A new (at least new to XDA) should be inclined to do so as well. I would think it rare for people to just flash their phones with some software and not know what they're getting, even if they did look into the zip file before-hand.
Does it include apps2ext (oldschool) ?
SuperFroyo N1 4.2

hello, just installed this ROM and everything was fine, but want to use the camera found a bug, there is a continuous flashing, as if on and off the night mode, I hope you can correct, everything else is fine.
Greetings!

I'm using this rom since it appeared and I've never noticed this bug. The camera works great for me.
sera?
mmm ... if it is not an isolated case, is like the bug with the volume buttons when playing games or multimedia, in my case does not appear at all.
Proves another ROM, perhaps Open Optimus, and if the bug persists then be hardware problem.
Thank you for bringing your experience
This happens once in while on my phone too - also using Nessy #Hypnos. I think it's related to some changes operated in the kernel, because this behaviour was seen in some of the kernel versions of franciscofranco; DookMatt borrowed some of the improvements in his own kernel, along with this bug. Hopefully it will be fixed when Dook gets his phone back from servicing, if he decides to resume developing for our community.
using hypno#2 no problems :!

I hope that Dook come back soon, Hypnos is very quick and smooth, I liked a lot, but still gives me the camera bug, and it happens even without touching the volume buttons, just flashes constantly.
I reinstalled and still the same problem, as you say could be a problem with the kernel.
I probe Hypnos & OpenOptimus (francokernel 13.1) and both give me the bug.
Devoid Franco (francokernel 13.1) and Lol 1.4.2 no problems, but I like Lol because I felt it more fluid.
Thanks for the help!
It's a shame not being able to express this in the corresponding post but apparently I have no authorization
Note: maybe could influence the launcher or the same Rom, probe OpenOptimus (francokernel 13.1) and gave me the camera bug, but Devoid Franco (francokernel 13.1) did not give me the bug.
..............................................................................................................................................
There could be many factors that trigger this bug. For me, it stopped happening in the last 2 days and the camera worked ok... so it's hard to tell what combination of factors could be to blame. That's why I wrote in my previous post that it happened to me "once in a while". I only wanted to confirm the bug's presence in Nessy #Hypnos2, but whoever is reading this thread should be aware that it's not permanent and some other people are not experiencing this bug at all.
I have the flashing/flickering when I'm overclocked, on stock speeds it works fine.
On mik's CM7 using his 6.5 version.
(Francokernel)

axyman, even though some of us understand Spanish directly and others simply can use Google Translate to make sense of what you said, I have to remind you that on public boards English is mandatory.
Concerning your question, I have no answer since I am not a developer. Only the devs know what they changed that could reflect in the camera's behavior.
Ups! Sorry i forgot the translation in my last comment

Flicker in camera appears in bright light and with overclocked CPU. In any kernels (tried a few, all have same bug). Bad bug, but can be much worse
I'm planning to flash hypnos 2. Does the rom has this bug?
Hey guys,
I'm a noob to the forums, well in a way, I have spent the last 3weeks or so on the xda forums collecting info about flashing etc.
I just wanted to know if my Ace (GT-S5830L) differs anyway to the regular GT-S5830, I know it uses just a different base band, but would this affect how stable roms are or what features would work with them?
Just FYI in my "about phone" settings my Baseband version is:
S5830LUBKP7
Sorry about being a pain in the side but I just want to get all my info right before I start flashing roms all widlie niddlie...I was going to start this weekend with StockLite V6 when it is released.
dont worry i have S5830L too and i have any problem go ahead and flash any rom u want.
Thanks a million man, I think i'm gonna start with Stocklite
Well i have S5830L and when ai flash a custom stock rom all works perfect except wifi. Wifi drops every five o eigth minutes a then reconects. Really bad. With any CM7 roms works all perfect

If you have problems with calls or 3g on some customs you only have to flash the latin modem. That is here in the forum
Sent from my GT-S5830 using xda premium
I had that problem, installed cm9 beta 8 and mobile network doesn't work (I think is a baseband issue). Also wifi drops once in a while. How do I do that flashing latin modem thing?
Thanks/Gracias.
Hey I also whant to know that... can someone please help us?
Download the modem and Flash via Odin. Check the modem thread.
Other questions search with Google and HTCmania forums have lots of support for that model.

So the ROMs for the Atrix 4g are the same for the 3g?
All Atrix phone use 3G there are no real 4G ones, you will be fine to use any rom here. Just need to remember that you will need to flash an international kernel if you use one of the ATT or Bell stock GB roms so that your phone reads your ram correctly. Have fun and be sure to backup your stock rom.
You will also need the RAM fix which ATT users don't need.

Is there any post for RAM fixes?
sorry for asking noob questions xD
Once you are rooted, download the app rom manager, it has an option in it to install cwm, once installed you can go into cwm recovery on reboot and there is a backup option, it will also be where you will flash roms.
As far as ram fix, faux international kernel already comes with ramfix, cm7 and cm9 already cone with ramfix with its stock kernel.
Another thing I forgot is when you flash a new rom if you want to use the app fasterfix to set GPS for your area as most roms set its files for USA. If you search the forums you will find everything you need. If you have any questions message me and I will do my best to help. Have fun!

Sir you made my day
According to what anoxther user told me in other thread, in order to run a custom recovery you must unlock your phone.
Fir most of the things you only need to be root, in example the universal raindrop fix or the gentop2 replacement for the webtop

So how did you get on? Hopefully you are rooted and rocking some new rom goodness.
I flashed the latest version of xiaomi.eu for RN10, I think I have read something about backups and conflicts but I'm not sure and I can't find any information, I would like to know if there is a problem because I restored the backup I had when starting the custom rom, and I have experienced some glitches that I think shouldn't be on xiaomi.eu like these:
* Notifications are delayed showing old notifications
* Sound notifications sometimes do not sound
* Volume control with headphones plugged in sometimes gets out of control
* The error that bothers me the most is that when you turn off the phone, and turn on the next day from time to time there is a temporary loss of data, the wallpaper is erased and it turns black, permissions of some apps are erased and I have to grant them again, whatsapp warns that the storage is full but I have 70gb free, and also if I enter an app the phone stays loading a screen and I have to restart it.
I would also like to ask, after having installed the rom, did I have to wipe dalvik and cache? Could you do it even without problem to try to solve the problems?
Backup and restore is primarily concerned with the ROM being on the same base.
So that may not be OK ROM AOSP / Lineage, or custom ROM / original ROM.
Backup from one version of Android to another (higher, lower) is not suitable at all.
In these cases, only Google-style backups are usable for content.
With these changes you have to set the rest of the settings anew.
StaryMuz said:

Simple Answer: Just don't do it !
It can be done but don't report then for any applications crashing or stability issues

Ok, to do this, what thoughts should I have? just flash the rom back to twrp to that version? would lose data? this time without backing up
In the introduction you wrote about using a custom ROM and the problems you experienced.
But next time you wrote about just upgrading from one version of Miui to a higher one.
Such an update does not need to be done manually, there is an OTA option in the settings.
So it's not clear exactly what you did and why you did it.
By taking the wrong steps, you may have already lost your data and the path to saving it may be futile.
You will probably need to start with the factory settings.
