I'm trying to change the lockscreen wallpaper but whether I apply it only as lockscreen or as both home/lockscreen, the wallpaper wont change. I've disabled any mods to the lockscreen and restarted the phone but nothing. Could I be missing something?
I had this for awhile also. Never figured it out. It went away after I Flashed a new ROM. I always thought it was something to do with xposed. Sometimes it does weird things.
Have you tried changing it under display settings/lockscreen

I don't know how this happens, this is the 2nd time since I've factory restored, but on my lockscreen (no password, only wallpaper) the icons aren't draggable. Clicking anywhere on the screen unlocks the device. It's bizarre and I don't prefer this.
Running tmo h1 stock rom rooted.
Edit: Found the reason. Caused me to delete HTC Sense data too -_-;;
If Tasker has accessibility marked ON, it fudges with the native Sense Lockscreen.
In the last day or two, I've noticed that my Sense Launcher animations are abbreviated or non-existent. System animations are fine, but the Sense animations seem turned off entirely. The Developer Options setting for Animations doesn't make a difference, either.
Some of the animations I've noticed this for:
Opening the app drawer
Unlocking the phone
Adding widgets
Did I accidentally flip a switch somewhere? I'm still running stock everything.
So...I fixed this. Somehow. Still not sure what happened or what fixed it, but I did the following:
Installed Nova Launcher
Realized the app drawer animation still wasn't playing
Enabled Animations in Developer Options
Shut down the phone completely
Turned the phone back on
Everything was groovypants again
No idea what happened, but at least it's better now. :good:
Okay, just one more post. It looks like the Developer Options Animations setting is the key, but it doesn't fully-stick until after a reboot - though maybe it's not the actual reboot that's causing it, but rather the re-starting of the launcher.
Anyway, that's a whole lot of talking to myself, but I figured if I answered my own question it might help someone in the future.
So I downloaded a lockscreen for MIUI from the themes app but apparently it doesn't go well with my phone and it just displays the wallpaper without the actual lockscreen. The problem is, now, I can't unlock the phone as there is nothing to drag on the screen. My phone is also secured by a pattern. How do I remove this problematic custom lockscreen and revert to the stock one?
Obviously I'd either have to do it via ADB or something. Can anyone help me out? I can restart the phone but that's really all I can do since everything else is behind the lockscreen.
Hi folks,
Wonder if anyone has encountered this before.
Just rebooted my Ultra, and the Xperia Lockscreen has vanished. Cleared the data and forced stop with no change.
I'm left with the default JellyBean 4.3 lockscreen with just a black wallpaper. Can unlock the phone and all the widgets are still there.
I had inserted a micro sd car before rebooting. Any ideas what could be causing this?
Cheers.
Hmm, uninstalled updates and it's back again. Strange.
Did you go into you settings and choose a lock screen option? Might have gotten set to "no lock screen" by default???
I recently bought an LG V30+ and in order to make it feel more Pixel-like I replaced the LG stock launcher with modified Pixel launcher (https://forum.xda-developers.com/and...oogle-t3688393) and started using the live wallpapers that Pixel 2 has.
Everything worked out just fine before I decided to try out Microsoft's Next Lock Screen which changed the wallpaper on both homescreen and lockscreen. Of course this was easily fixed by changing the wallpaper back to the live one. Eventually I decided that the Next Lock Screen wasn't for me so I disabled it and removed it.
However, even after disabling and removing the Next Lock Screen application my wallpaper keeps reverting back to the default wallpaper that Next Lock Screen uses (the wallpaper that changes daily) after a few hours or everytime I restart my phone and I have to manually change the wallpaper back to what I want on both the lockscreen and homescreen. This is pretty annoying so any help would be greatly appreciated. Factory reset would obviously get rid of this problem, but since I've spent a good while already customizing apps I wouldn't like to do that just yet. I even reinstalled Next Lock Screen, then disabled it and removed every single permission it has, removed its cache entirely, and then removed the whole application. This still happens after doing so and it baffles my mind.
I found this old thread about this issue: https://nextlockscreen.uservoice.co...gestions/9153130-wallpaper-changes-on-its-own I'm just wondering how this behaviour still continues even after removing the whole app.
