[Q] Can't use Complete Linux Installer?

Hey folks, I'm curious, I've used this program before on my Acer Iconia A100. I am trying to get it to install and run on my i717, but I get the attached error. Does anybody have any idea? I've tried on CM 10.1, CM 10.2, Carbon ROM, and the factory Jellybean 4.1. I seem to support loop devices on every kernel but I can't get it to run... This was trying to use Ubuntu 12 from complete linux installer on the market.

Hi
I am new and non-techy.
I have done a search but couldn't find the answer.
I have the Star MTK 6589 quad core 5.7inch phone and was wondering if the CyanogenMod is available for my phone.
I think i install CyanogenMod and then i can get kitkat. Is that right?
Can someone explain it more?
More i read the more my brain hurts :crying:
Or should i buy the genuine phones like samsung so i can get updates??

Can we build kitkat 4.4 ROM FOR THIS DEVICE?
i wanna ask, i'm new to android programming, what kinda tools i need to prepare?
hello?
I don't see why you can't port kk to your devices. If you want kk or any other android version check out xda-university it will guide u in the right direction.
If you believe you will succeed.
Example.. my tablet that was built in 2006 with only 309mb ran was able to external multibootloader from sdcard jb4.1, ubuntu, and debian.
All you answers can be found in the little search box at the top of the page.

check this thread out, someone is already trying to port at least the bootloader, and presumably some kind of custom ROM:

Can anyone help me to find and CYANOGENMOD 11 suitable for DATAWIND UBISLATE 7C+

Dear friends,
I want to upgrade my DATAWIND UBISLATE 7C+ Tablet which is currently running on Android Jelly bean(4.2.2) to Kitkat(4.4.2)
So can anyone help me to find and install CYANOGENMOD 11(Android 4.4.2) suitable for DATAWIND UBISLATE 7C+...
Well....I'm not positive but this is drfinetly likely.... because cm is no longer in development. And if you can't find a fork of cm here than it may seem that you might have to make AOSP for your device.
