So you can download original kdz lg mini g2 by IMEI Lg first must have registered your IMEI, I also had this problem, Lg website page not detect my phone and my Imei, but I could resolve this after one month and two weeks i bought it and with that issue . On page lg (Argentina in my case) I created my account here https://www.lg.com/ar/soporte/registro-cuenta and then sent a written complaint in this page https://www.lg.com/ar/soporte/mensaje-atencion-al-cliente , that is in Argentina anyone can do it from your country on the website of Lg selecting your country, registering first and then and going to the contact part where it says E- mail and putting contact details, model equipment and claim , my complaint was something like ::
"I have the LG G2 D610 AR (you put yours) and when checking for software in the menu settings, software update tells me my device is not registered. I do not understand because I already registered in LG website. Could YOU register it properly and let me know when this is done? PLEASE my name is Araceli Redondo R ID 285746453 and buy the LG G2 mini model D610 (you should place your device) at a official local company Claro Argentina the day 6/10/14 (put date and your company) several weeks ago / months of that and it keep saying that is not registered) my IMEI is (you put your IMEI is in the device by removing the battery) and my S / N (you put your serial number is also in the device by removing the battery).
It was my last try i honestly didnt expect to find the solution, but well a email wouldn´t be difficult to do right? The next day lg sent an email telling me that they will send my data to synchronize the webmaster. After exactly a week of that email answer the not registered device message when try to search software update was gone! Now it says that the phone is updated !
I hope my experience will help you, Now I can download my original kdz Claro Argentina, I'm trying to upload it to mediafire to have it back and share it

I’ve been sent as a gift from my friend in Spain a new i-mate windows mobile pocket pc phone edition – HTC Himalayas Model PH10B. It did not come with a SIM card.
On starting for the first time (booting in English) it then immediately went on to “personalize” itself (in Spanish) and seemed to set to Vodafone (with a spanish CDS number and airtel.es I think for ISP services)?
I obviously want to use it with a UK network SIM card (I would prefer to use my contract O2 SIM)
I installed Outlook 2002 from the companion CD (ver 1.0 sept 2003), then downloaded and installed ActivSync 3.8. The device connects no problem to my desktop computer (winXP) via USB and my Outlook Contacts etc synchronize to the device OK.
I used the xda2ulock.exe v2.2 tool which now tells me that everything is "unlocked".
I tried to flash upgrade the ROM using O2 xdaII ROM’s with no success. I also tried to flash/upgrade the ROM to version: 1.72.00wwe and Radio version: 1.14.00 by downloading RUU172126WWE_imate.exe and RUU172800WWE_CDL_SKU1.exe from the Club i-mate web site. The main ROM refused to upgrade, (I tried twice) stalling with the Country ID error message and leaving the device in the Serial/USB bootloader v1.06 grey screen. Fortunately the Extended ROM (RUU172800WWE_CDL_SKU1.exe) recovered the device so that I now at least have: -
ROM version: 1.66.00WWE
ROM date: 02/02/04
Radio version: 1.10.00
Protocol version: 1337.18
ExtROM version: 1.72.800
and an i-mate screen.
Device Data returns the following information: -
U S B 3 2 - 1 . 6 6 . 0 0 W W E - P H 1 0 - C D L - W W E - 1 . 7 2 . 8 0 0 - 1 . 1 0 . 0 0
Using a Vodafone UK SIM card, the phone send/receives texts, connects to the Internet and detects all other UK Networks when searching manually. However, it will not receive or send any phone calls, even though the signal strength indicator shows all thermometer bars (4) OK and the “G” icon appears next to Vodafone UK under “connectivity”. (The device just doesn’t want to know my O2 SIM card – won’t do anything!)
Now I discover that when dialing *#06# the IMEI number shown (which matches Settings/System/Device Information/Identity) is not the same IMEI number as shown on the packaging label and the silver label inside the device behind the battery!
Has my friend been sold a “stolen” device with a Spanish blocked IMEI number which has been re-packaged as if new? Have I caused the problem by trying to flash/upgrade the ROM? Can I find out if the IMEI has been blocked in Spain (I have tried UK Networks who say they can’t trace and report on what Spanish networks may have done)?
I-mate technical support (Milton Keynes) suggests the best they could do is arrange to reload the Spanish Vodafone software, and they would charge me for that privilege, if and when they might be able to organize it!
You can imagine that I feel embarrassed to relay these problems to my friend in Spain whose integrity is unquestionable, yet I can see no other alternative unless someone on the forum can help?
Has anyone got any ideas?
its impossible installing a new rom does not change the imei number there are also no known ways to change imei on xda2
Thanks for info gazzaman2k.
i-mate tech support also said its impossible to have the software showing one IMEI number whereas the hardware shows another - but I'm afraid that's IS exactly what I've got!
I wonder which IMEI number is right? The number on the packing box and silver label inside the device behind the battery, or the other number according to Start/Settings/System/Device Information/Identity?
Does it matter anyway?
it its working fine then whats to worry? lol

Read the post. The guy can't make calls.
nholtom, Its possbile for a device to get an IMEI change if it goes off for repair and gets a new motherboard. But in that case they would change the sticker under the battery. Maybe that happened but they forgot to change the sticker?
Its unlikely to be blocked as stolen as if that happened in Spain, then it should work outside of that country. However it has to be said its behaving as though it is barred as stolen. Maybe it was originally a UK device and had a lost/stolen bar over here - and then sent to spain where it would work normally.
Looks like you'll need to speak to your friend in Spain. Very odd if the imei under the battery and via the settings don't match.
JD
Thank you jdee246 - yes that could be it.
Perhaps my friend managed to buy it at a discounted price if it had been a repair job, (it is after all a very expensive gift at full retail)!
If that's right, it seems that the real IMEI number would be the one that is shown through the software and NOT the one as shown on the labels.
I guess I will have to contact him and ask if he could check with Spanish Vodafone to see if the number has been blocked.
One other possibility might be what is listed on the following web page?
http://www.expansys.com/product.asp?code=PPSIM_VODA1&asource=108654
Anyway - thanks for giving it some thought
Update on progress - or lack of it :-(
My friend in Spain confirms he bought it new "unlocked" from any network and his receipt shows the same IMEI number as on the box and inside label. However, as previously posted *#06# returns a different IMEI number which Vodafone UK now tells me is blacklisted! They can't understand how that has happened or why, if it is blocked, how I can still send and receive SMS messages and surf the net from the device by using a Vodafone UK Data/Voice or Vodafone Voice SIM card.
However, although I can text and surf with a Vodafone SIM card in, when phoning from the device, all one hears are three short beeps and then disconnection. If phoning to the device from another mobile or landline, one never hears a ring tone. My contract O2 SIM card won't even register on any network when I put this in the device!
At the moment I've given up trying to upgrade the ROM, (I do at least have a working pocket pc), but I really would still like to be able to get the phone working!
Are there any experts out there who'd like to hazard a guess at what I can do next?
What about this one
I lost my imei completely.
The phone takes up to 10 minutes to boot and doesn't have a radio stack version listed at all. Right now its just a pocket pc without the phone. And i didn't even try to perform an update to get my qtel 2020 this ****ed up.

Guys,
I have an xperia x10, I bought it from our local agent here in Bahrain (one of the Arabian gulf countries) an as you know that the update is not yet released in Arab countries, however, after I did a factory reset all the information in the mobile have been deleted including the location details.
I have connected the device to the PC and a pop up box appears saying "an update is available for you mobile" I accepted to update the device, after completion and restarting the device the problem started, I noticed that its not accepting any SIM card, although I check more that one SIM card but non of them were accepted.
Guys, if someone faced the same problem or know the way to solve this problem please advise.
I am really sick of this device.

Can SOMEONE explain to me why this file over here - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2219953 - turned my wifes phone into the Korean version and why it changed her IMEI number? If this file is in fact the Korean FW then why in gods name is it in the "AT&T Lg Optimus E-970" section? And can someone PLEASE tell me how to fix this.
I know this phone is a bit old but that should itself make this easier considering how long files have been around for this thing. ANd please don't insult me by telling me to use the search because I know how to use the search but it keeps bringing me back to this same file that screwed my wifes phone up in the 1st place! Also the IRC channel is useless. No one responds to you and the files people say "should be there" aren't.
All I need is for SOMEONE to link me to the proper files. I don't care if it's the TOT and DLL for ICS. As long as I can fix her phone and take the OTA to get it back to 4.1.2!
You gonna need this: http://lgnpst-acg.software.informer.com/2.2/
& download this: http://downloads.codefi.re/g33k3r/LGE970AT-01-V20j-310-410-MAR-08-2013.zip
Don't know why you say it's the korean version, i used it and it's the AT&T version.
The use of this as well: https://app.box.com/s/n4wh6421ze75zplvj254
if you still wanted the phone rooted i would have suggested the use of tinybins it's much much easier & you can flash any ROM of your choosing.
Snow leopard Stock ROM is very good

I say that because it is Gabxter. I even had another person look at theirs and sure enough, his also says "Lg Electronics Korea". But his IMEI didn't change though. Flashing the file was easy enough. But with it changing her IMEI number, I can't get any OTA updates on her phone because it's now giving me an authentication error because of this. That DLL file also says LS970. Maybe that's why?
EDIT. I did a data wipe and it fixed the IMEI number. I dunno what the hell happened there but ok. It still says "LG Electronics Korea" though.

I'm going on a hunch here, but could it be possible that the "Manufacture company/country" indicates "LG Electronics Inc. Korea" because it was manufactured by "LG Electronics Inc" in "Korea"?
Honestly? I don't know. I have never seen that in her phone before, or any OG, so I have no frame of reference. This is the 1st time I have ever had to fix her phone so I never really paid any attention to it. Her phone seems to be acting fine except for the "connection failed because of authentication error" message that pops up when I check for a OTA updates. That does have me wondering if something is still wrong.
If you aren't completely stock then you can't get OTA's
And there's the rub MrZim4. This all started because she was having issues seeing Facebook vids. So she asked me to unroot it and put it back to stock. So I went into freegee to restore everything and that's when all this trouble started. It is still rooted but now I'm afraid to try and unroot it again because it didn't go so well the 1st time....lol
Hi, i have bought G977N and later came to know that its IMEI is tampered to get registered on the local networks. it was working before i upgraded it to G977NKOU4CTG1, the original firmware was G977NKSU2BSL7. After upgrading it did not register any of the networks. Got it checked from software expert he told me the network patching done with tempered imei was damaged and now there is no way to do it again on new version G977NKOU4CTG1. I tried to flash G977NKSU2BSL and also the factory firmware of android pie but ODIN get stuck at BOOT.img and download screen shows non-supported version. Can any one help to restore my original IMEI and will it work.
The IMEI ( read: International Mobile Equipment Identity ) is a unique numerical identifier ( 14-17 digits ) for every mobile device what helps to differentiate each device from one another. If you take your phone in for repair, they will track it using the IMEI to distinguish it from the other millions of phones, for example.
IMEI basically has nothing to do with phone's local network settings at all. But it may be used to unlock a phone on certain networks.
The IMEI is stored on phone's /EFS partition and/or /EFS folder. If you didn't backup that before flashing you have lost, IMO, unless you still have the box in which the phone was delivered, because there is usually the IMEI printed, too.
I don't have the box of the phone. The seller has tempered the imei to get it registered on the local network. I didn't backup before flashing. Now what to do. How to downgrade to previous firmware. I tried to flash the previous firmware but it stuck in boot.img.
They told me solution is available for U3 binary but no solution is available for U4 binary.
Awaiting for help on this issue.
You should have returned the device. Since the imei has been tampered with you will not get much help here. Imei changing and tampering is illegal in most countries. And it's not discussed on xda

I'm guessing you also bought a tampered IMEI device. Take it to any local market where there are plenty of phone 'software repair' guys. Ask them if they have Chimera or z3x tool. They'll fix your problem for ~800 PKR.
Remember, if you buy such devices, don't flash anything on them. Every time you do, you'll need to go back to the same software guy and pay him to fix your signal issue.

For other people reading this comment - Yes I understand IMEI tampering is illegal in most countries. The reason people in Pakistan buy these phones is because the government has levied unreasonable duties on all imported devices, without any consideration for the age/condition. For example, a used/refurbished S10 that costs you 250 USD in the US, will have custom charges of about 250 USD applied to it if you want it to work in Pakistan. So basically you pay double.
I have this same issue somtimes the signal comes and somtimes it doesnt.
