[Q] How can i get S-Off without a PC? - Sprint HTC EVO 4G LTE

I am currently running the official Sense 5 RUU with hboot 2.10 and am wondering how I can get S-Off with a computer. I am using an HTC Evo LTE.

I've got a s-off evo 3d, I was wondering if anyone knew where the data stored that tells 1.50 Hboot that it's been unlocked via HTC method?

[Q] Can't update with RUU 2.13 after relocking bootloader

I am trying to flash my phone with the RUU 2.13 so I can get the new firmware and flash meanbean. I am following this post (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=31520093&postcount=11730) to do so. After following what Captain says, which is to relock the bootloader I can't get past the bootloader (which I now understand is normal right?) and then try to run the RUU through HBOOT, however I get the USB error. Is this due to the bootloader being relocked or am I missing the htc drivers on my computer?
Also, I'd rather go to S-Off, so if anyone could shed some light on how I would go from S-On to S-Off I would greatly appreciate it.
Which firmware are you trying to get on your phone? Because the way I'm reading it is you're using the older ruu file to try to get the newest firmware. Just wanna make sure you're using the newest ruu of 3.15 (came out December 22).

Ya wow can't believe how long it's been since I've flashed a rom. An old version of MeanRom has lasted me so long. I am on an old firmware (1.13) I believe. I want to preferably go from S-On to S-Off. Before, I tried Captain Throwbacks method (relocking the bootloader, flashing the RUU) however I ran into a USB Connection Problem with the RUU. So I am trying to figure out if it was because I didn't have the right htc drivers installed or something else. If S-On to S-Off would eliminate the need for those steps I would much rather do that. I am trying to get to the latest firmware. Thanks!
What Hboot are you on?
Edit: If you're on 1.12 you're going to have to go the Dirty Racun route, since Lazy Panda is no longer officially supported. This, of course, requires you to RUU to upgrade to either Hboot 1.15 or 1.19, then run Dirty Racun to get S-off. Getting S-off is definitely the way to go, as it can save you some headache down the road. Also, don't run the RUU for 3.15 (JB) as this will update your Hboot and currently there is no exploit to get S-off with the new Hboot. You can still unlock and root it, but you'll be S-on.

[q] how to restore evo 3d gsm to factory

I have an htc evo 3d gsm. I got s-off using the wire trick then downgraded my bootloader. Now my hboot is 1.49.0007 unlocked with s-off. I was wondering how I could revert my phone to stock.
Thanks!
relocking the bootloader and running the appropriate RUU will get you back to stock but your bootloader will show relocked and s-off

[Q] Please Help! Virgin Mobile HTC Evo 3D Roms

I want to install a jellybean rom but after four days I am about to give up. I have rooted my phone, got s-off and tried to downgrade my hboot to 1.40 so I can install some roms, but I get continuous a boot loop with hboot 1.40. I also tried hboot 1.50 but still the same problem.
The phone came pre-installed with ICS 4.03. Should I give up as I have searched and searched to find a solution?
Thanks in advance.:crying:

Currently on hboot 1.58

[Q] Stuck on S-ON, CM10 isn't letting me connect to 3g

I have been ****ing with this phone for weeks now literally trying to fix it because I was an idiot and did not backup my stock rom. So now I've been bounching CM to CM and every version gets stuck on the HTC boot up logo except for the original version 10. I have TWRP and when I go on my bootloader here's what it says.
JEWEL PVT SHIP S-ON RL
HBOOT-1.15.0000
RADIO-1.05.11.0606
OpenDSP-v25.1.0.32.0405
EMMC-Boot
I have tried using the windroid htc evo toolkit, supercid and facepalm method to no avail. I am able to go onto my phone originally with the CM10 rom and connect to wifi but no 3G aka data which is obviously a huge problem. Do I need to obtain S-OFF and update my radio? Please help, if I had any hair I'd be pulling it all out by now.
I believe you do need to be s-off to upgrade radio. You could try using one of the newer ruus either 3.17 or three newest. If you go with the newest @Captain_Throwback has thread with the ruu, new twrp, rom, and newest supersu. Just a suggestion. I used that room for a little bit and it was just about flawless.
