Hello I need some help with my HTC Desire 601 Zara CL Virgin Mobile phone.
I've recently unlocked my phone and then using TWRP changed the stock kernel to the kofilakernel without making a backup/recovery of the stock phone. Then I have used supersu and titanium backup to uninstall apps from the phone.
My goal now is to return the phone to 100% stock from the box or close to it as possible but I have not been able to accomplish this by myself and require help.
I have found this index for the 601 and the WindDroid Tool but I still have not been able to restore my phone to 100% (ie. with all the bloatware when factory reset.).
Thank you for any help you can give me.

So a friend of mine was supposed to unroot my rooted optimus v so i could sell it. He couldn't find the stock ROM and accidentally put a sprint ROM on there, and its currently unrooted. I can't do anything on the sprint ROM because I get no network. I also can't access the settings from it. I tried to gain permanent root access, but after i think i get a temporary root from a shell root (although it never completes the root, it still shows in adb shell it rooted.) After the device restarts I think i lose the root even though I put all the codes in right. I figured I can't flash a custom recovery if it won't stay rooted.. but i need your guys help! How can I get my optimus V back to a virgin mobile ROM instead of a sprint one? Thank you in advance for your help.

You can use this as a recovery if you never had a custom recover installed (the original sucks and it gives it SO much more functionality).
Xionia is what I use and it works great. I can't post links, but just google "Xionia Recovery Optimus V" and you'll see exactly what I was trying to post.
Then just get a stock rom flashed, or if you can't find anything, I'll see if I can get you my system image files, just PM me if you can't solve it.
Also, I don't know why you wouldn't just sell it with a custom ROM or with some customization, because most OV's suffer from the TWS bug, I know I did. Harmonia has solved that issue for me so far, so it's great.
Hi everyone. I need help... Sorry I'm a bit busy and only did a quick search and couldn't find enough relevant information.
I'm getting a new phone but I like the 3D feature on the Evo 3D so I'm keeping it as a backup phone. Apart from 3D, I also want it to be unrooted so I can use a mobile banking app (Barclays Mobile Banking) that won't run on rooted phones. I've read the revert back to stock threads in development forum but they seemed to require relocking bootloader and flashing back to stock rom as well but I want a custom rom without root. Is that possible?
My phone is now unlocked, S-Off, rooted, installed TWRP and running P.A.C.MAN rom+kernel which is awesome. If possible I would like to flash a sense 3.6 based rom (e.g. Cool Sense) only for 3D and then unroot. Does anyone know how to do that?
Thanks in advance!!
To unroot your phone, download the "Supersu" app from the Play Store, enter the application and select the "Full unroot" option.
It may ask you to reboot your device afterwards.
EDIT: I just noticed about the ROM question. Honestly not sure about that one.
Okay so I have had the Samsung intercept HTC one v and now the lg optimus l9. I rooted my intercept but never did anything with the root other than use WiFi tethering. Didn't root my HTC cuz the process required a computer and was going to be complicated. Now I've rooted my lg through lgpwn using the back up app I also made a back up of my phone before I rooted. Now I'm rooted and have played with a few simple things(fonts greenify uninstalling system apps) but haven't done any custom ROMs. I also made a newbie mistake and changed my boot animation withought backing up. Then today T-Mobile informed me of an update to latest lg software. I tried the update and got the dead android screen so I took battery out and restarted it now its working fine. So now my question is since it was rooted by restoring from a backup will it unroot if I install my present root system back up? I deleted a few system apps some are backed up with titanium back up but most are not. They all were market apps that came preinstalled. Will they be restored if this restore method works? And if that method won't work what would be the easiest way to restore the boot animation and update to latest software. Most of the talk about ROMs is way over my head so I need an opinion on the best option. Thanks
Can nobody help me?

Hello seth,
If your L9 is rooted, then no any native LG backup app can remove root. If you have backed up your data with titanium backup then it only can restore system app, it also can't remove root. If you want to get back to stock, then you will have to download kdz of stock rom and flash it using lg flash tool. For help and tutorials search general thread section of L9 over xda.
Good luck buddy
