I accidently deleted, and I don't even know how, a stock photo editor, so if somebody could just upload a backup for this apk, or give me a link, i would be most thankfull
Same problem.I install Quick Gallery problem solved....
Thanks, but that's not what I want. I'm looking for the editor that comes with the phone (lg g2 mini), i really liked it, it has some cool features and i'd like it back... And btw, is that editor comes within the gallery app or those two are separate apps?
I think you need google+ app installed to edit pictures in stock.
I know it sounds strange, it's Google making you use their products

There's a world of difference between enabled and installed.
When I uninstall it the editing features are gone, reinstalling brings the feature back.
Thank you very much indeed

I cant seem to find a hard fact answer, i have androids default gallery and music player.
Using titanium backup you can freeze then try one day, android if nothing happend you can make a backup and deleted
I did that with timescape n moxiermail, never try mediascape butano thats then way you should try

I've been experimenting with deleting certain apps using Titanium Backup.
Having deleted both Timescape and Mediascape completely, everything seems fine, although I cannot test making calls using the stock dialler as I've deleted that in error but use Google Gesture instead to make calls.
Am going to reflash this evening and pay for Titanium so that I can freeze the apps rather than remove.
I Have deleted both Timescape and Mediascape completely. With no problems that i have found..

Confirmed, I did it the same way.
I didn't removed mediascape coz' the stock camera app won't play your vids if you delete mediascape .

I can confirm that.. why delete anyways, just freeze
How to freeze it?
Get titanium backup pro and click on the app, and you'll see the option to freeze...

I have the gallery...where can I find the .apk for the default music player?
I just found out one thing you "lose" when removing mediascape, you will not be able to use a picture as a wallpaper as the system uses mediascape for it.
There's a way to workaround it though, you just need to put the picture you wanna set as wallpaper in the etc/customization/content/com/sonyericsson/android/wallpaperchooser/wallpaper folder and with that you don't need to crop the picture anymore like when you use mediascape...
Easier way to set wallpapers: Use Wallpaper Set and Save from the market (free)
these are all the drawbacks I found when uninstalling MediaScape (lifted from my customizer thread):
MediaScape
apk: mediascape MediaScapePluginManager
Drawbacks:
Camera App is hard-coded to use Mediascape for Gallery/Share.
Vignette Does well but doesn't help in Video mode.
Means: No easy sharing/viewing for taken videos
No easy way to create a wallpaper from taken pictures.
No way to set contact picture from phonebook. Need to go through Gallery3D instead.
I got rid of mediascape once (on 2.1) and the biggest minus for me was that you can't get high quality picture set for contacts in phone book menu; you actually can't set contact pics through regular edit contact menu at all-you have to use stock gallery but as I said no hq pics, just big blur

I was able to navigate to this folder through root explorer, (I am rooted), but how do I drop my pics in the phone's wallpaper folder?
Thanks!
Hello
I'm a noob with a rooted HTC One that I just bought. I have very little experience with rooted phones. Never owned one before and never rooted anything.
My phone is working well except that when I take pictures or video, they disappear. They don't show in the gallery. I can find them in the file system using a file explorer. I cannot make new Gallery folders either. I tried installing 3rd party apps and they don't work either. Maybe the file system did not get properly configured. Is there a way to do a fresh reinstall of the default Gallery app? Or are you aware of a Gallery app that will completely install its own system that might work?
I am on android 4.3.
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks!
Mike
Try quickpic, it's free in the playstore.. Not sure what's going on with your gallery to be honest. But I only ever use quickpic gallery on my phones..

I dont like xperia album app. I am not able to Create a new folder even. I really like samsung gallery app. Is there a way to install it? Or do you know any other Solutions?
My Device is Non-rooted.
Try app called f-stop

I use an album called quick pic, you can "hide" folders which is handy because there is not a great deal I hate more than having album covers in my pictures folder.
Cannot create new folders though due to 4.4.4 sd write protection
Quick pic is very nice app, but it's really annoying when you have a lot of albums and you have to wait for thumbnails to load each time.

Google is a Wonderful thing...
1st Option after the Google Playstore was http://androidcentral.us/2014/01/download-android-4-4-kitkat-stock-apps-for-your-android/
Need an app which is likely to be Quickpic as quickpic giving FC & get hanged sometimes in MIUI8 MM Roms.
I tried so many gallery apps from playstore but all are having so many ads & not at level of quickpic.
So guys if anyone have an app like quickpic please give me the name or link of app.
Thanks in advance.
Just use QuickPic 4.5.2, before Cheetah made a mess out of it.

QuickPic is working flawlessly for me in MIUI 8 dev rom(MM), try reinstalling or deleting the cache and the data, if you cant make it work then try A+ gallery, or the google photos app, the MIUI gallery itself isnt half bad either, but quick pic is the best, I have to agree to that! Cheers

Bro i tried to wipe data of that app but after using it some hours when u delete any photo from that app it gets hang & u have to go to home & clear all recent apps.
After that if u delete any photo or take screenshot system get hang.
U must have to restart the phone.
After restart it works fine for sometime and after that creats same problem.
I only face this issue in MIUI 8 MM Roms.
Dont know why.
You may try sony's album app.
Sent from Note 3, Xiaomi Redmi Note 3.
Try A+ Gallery and you won't be disappointed.
Another tip... F-Stop is the closest to QuickPic.

Why not just disable uploading of that folder in Google photos app?
There is no option to sync only the screenshots folder. This one is integrated in Camera folder. This is a Samsung "feature" and I don't like it, too. [emoji2955]
