Stuck on "Factory Mode" - Workaround - T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S 5

Hello guys:
I am experiencing an Issue with my Galaxy S5 (T-mobile version). Everytime I turn on my device, it switches to "Factory Mode" and it turns off my wi-fi connection. (I am attaching a screenshot). Then, when I try to turn on my wi-fi the phone go to reboot.

I've already read some solutions using "root", and the root file explorer but I've not gotten any success (due to all tutorials are for other phones). Also I couldn't find any case for Galaxy S5. :crying:
Currently, as a workaround, I've installed CM11 and I didn't got the "Factory mode" message. Then I used "Omega Rom" and my phone works nice.
Well, I know you are the experts here and I would like to know if this problem could be related with the "Kernel"?. I got this conclusion because Omega Rom and CM11 have a different kernel name than Stock version.
I will appreciate all your comments to solve my doubts.
Thank you guys,:good:

I don't even know what Factory Mode is but if you're on Omega (a very good rom by the way) at this point you can probably flash the latest factory rom with Odin and it should function correctly. If not, then I'd have TMO replace the phone. There are several threads in this section (XDA T-Mobile S5 Forums) that explain how to flash the latest firmware.
Good Luck!
If I've helped please push the "Thanks" button.

In fact, that was the first thing I did and I 've not gotten success. I will wait for the Stock rom version with Android 5.0 and try again. Thank you

Camera - Black screen or fuzzy white lines?

I have a problem. Camera wont work. Most of the time its a black screen and other times it kinda works but i get the image below, and it takes pics like that but you cant view them. I removed apps that I have installed since I noticed this and nothing. Any ideas on this? I looked everywhere for about 2 weeks now. Not sure what to do....?
If a factory reset from the settings menu is recommended... what exactly happens to the custom ROM and kernel? Do they need to be reinstalled or...?
Running Shostock 2.5.6 And AJ 1.25s
And if this is not the place to post this... please tell me where? Thanks everyone!

Replacing the camera module doesnt work. Does the same thing. Any ideas? I doubt it since I have gotten ZERO replies. Was hoping at least ONE person on here has had this problem... guess not. Thanks anyway everyone!
I wonder if it's the kennel you're using. AJK 1.25s is pretty old, and while it is the Samsung version I can't remember if it's for the ICS version you're running; maybe AJ can pop in and reeducate me.
Anyway, a quick test would be to nandroid and flash the rom again without changing the kernel, then see if that solves your problem.
One other thing, don't factory reset from the settings menu, always do these things from the custom recovery.

I just flashed Shostock 3.0.2 the other day without flashing a kernel before I changed the camera module... same result. Thanks for the tip on factory reset.

"Android System" battery usage

I answered this question a few weeks ago.
I remember having this issue a few months back, go into your settings and go to battery. Is "Android OS" or "Android System" at the top or very close? If it is then the reason was (in my case) the device couldn't go into deep sleep mode which should happen when you lock your device, this means that instead of nearly shutting down and only having the data connection on (maybe wifi aswell), the device was running the same as before you hit the power button, the only difference is that the screen is off. There are different reasons for this happening but for my device it was a kernel issue, this means that these steps may not work for you, because like i said, this issue is different every time.
All i had to do to fix this issue was flash a new kernel, i chose the googy max kernel 1.7.9 for CWM, which is a continued development of the siyah kernel, after the developer abandoned it. forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2270158
You just have to flash it the same way you did Cyanogenmod, go into CWM (or another custom recovery) and flash it to the device.
I still have a problem and I don't understand why...
I can't use phone because it's draining battery to much.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2323847 I used this steps and didn't help, only I didn't understand what mean Flash ICS bootloader, but my counter is on zero.
I use XEH XXEMG4 4.1.2 software, can I try XXEMG4 software but from other country maybe?

Hi guys. First post to the forum, been lurking for years, just registered.
I recently updated my phone with the update that Samsung kept bothering me about every 2 hours or so. And It has messed my phone up, it's slow, it drags. It doesn't even show the clock on my lock screen without thinking about it for about 10 seconds. Train wreck.
I've rooted, installed custom recovery, and loaded custom roms on my Galaxy S i9000 and on my grouper Nexus 7. I kinda get how all this works, I'm not a total newb, but with this phone I am at a dead end and i've tried everything I know, and a bunch more tricks I learned here and nothing is working.
My Phone: Samsung Galaxy S3: Canadian (Bell) version SGH-I747M, supposedly the same as the S3 AT&T,

I had to use zadig to replace my drivers for Heimdall
Heimdall will sucessfully flash clockwork recovery, but it refuses to install my CM rom. I haven't tried any other roms, but from what I've read in the forum here, it doesn't seem to matter what rom you use, it just wont do it.
I get Assert, bootloader errors when trying to install from zip in Clockwork Recovery. tried the fix here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=41503727
and it does not work. Odin just says "FAILED" right away.
I thought maybe if I just rooted the phone first, I could at least flash a custom recovery and not have it over written everytime I boot.
I tried CF-AutoRoot, Odin says success, but nothing changes on my phone.
I tried OneClickRoot which worked wonders on my GS i9000 back in the day. No success.
I have tried CM Installer to do it automated, It says success, but no change.
People have reported that Knox may be the problem, but as far as I can tell I don't have it on my phone.
I've been working on this for a day and a half and all I've managed to do is factory reset my phone about 12 times. I need help.. I don't know what to do. Has anybody managed to root their phone or install a custom recovery or rom with a GS3 running 4.4?

Intermittent black and white lines on screen

Hey guys.....
A friend of mine gave a Galaxy S3 (GT-I9300) , but I have to fix it before use it... what's going on it.... Well... If I turn it on, it shows some intermittent black and white lines on the screen, as you can see

"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
but, when I enter in Odin mode, the screen is ok
So, I assumed there is no hardware issue in this mobile.... so, i thought it could be just a ROM error or something alike.... so, I downloaded KIES and Odin ((3.07, 3.09 and 3.10)).... I started on Odin.... I tried to flash the stock ROM on it, but I went to the error missing PIT partition.... after I read what is a PIT partition, I downloaded only the PIT file and tried to flash it alone and together with the MD5 ROM file..... So, NO.... nothing worked....
So, I went into the KIES and tried to used the all 3 options on Tools Menu .... the first one, doesn't work ((or I don't know what to do...))... the second one works.... asks for the serial number and start the progress bar and everything. But, when it reaches 70% just stops and says there is an error
.. and the third one doesn't help... at all....
So guys this is it what I already done so far in here and this is what I know what it could be done.... any thoughts or ideas to help me here?
I'm using a windows 8.1 x64....
Thanks very much for any help and assistance here =D
I'm reading something about MSKIP Toolkit and Heimdal.... any of these works in my case?
I'm reading this thread too - http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s3/help/solved-pit-bricked-dead-problem-gt-t2535367 - but my phone does not reboot.... so, i'm stuck on step 3....
and in here - https://www.androidpit.de/forum/545386/there-is-no-pit-partition-and-re-partition-operation-failed - these guys are facing the same issue as mine....
So, no further ideas to do.... any in your side?
Cheers =D
any thoughts or ideas guys??
any ideas at all guys?

Samsung Galaxy S6 EDGE canĀ“t flash Stock ROM & TWRP!

Hello XDA -Community,
first of all, sorry for my bad English!
I have a Samsung Galaxy S6 EDGE (SM-G925F) / original ROM - (last OTA update) / no branding / without root, that until recently worked perfectly and never made any complaints ... at least until a few days ago while an APP installation (she probably destroyed something) and got stuck in the bootloop .....
First i deleted the cache in recovery mode (I didn't want WIPE, because of data loss) because I read here that I might be able to solve the problem this way, but it didn't work ... then I downloaded the file - G925FXXS6ETI6_G925FDBT6ETJ1_G925FXXU6ERF6_HOME. tar.md5 via SamFirm, and flashed it (according to XDA flashing Thread) with ODIN3 (3.14.4) in DownloadModus on Handy, the only stupid thing is that ODIN aborted / stopped in the Installation Process! Since then the phone only boots up to the Samsung logo, the recovery mode has disappeared and I only get into the download mode! : (((
When i trying to re-flash the firmware, now ODIN3 always stops at boot.img and aborts the process (see Figure 2) with FAIL (different ODIN versions tried, different USB cables / ports connected)!
I also read here in the forum that you could make a backup with TWRP (I took: twrp-3.3.1-0-zerolte.img.tar) to save/recovery my phone-data ... TWRP cannot be done with ODIN3 either play, the preview goes also until recovery.img and then breaks off, again and again with Fail!
