About Cyanogenmod
CyanogenMod (pronounced /saɪ.'æn.oʊ.dʒɛn.mɒd/) is an enhanced open source firmware distribution for smartphones and tablet computers based on the Android mobile operating system. It offers features and options not found in the official firmware distributed by vendors of these devices.
Features supported by CyanogenMod include native theming support, FLAC audio codec support, a large Access Point Name list, an OpenVPN client, an enhanced reboot menu, support for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and USB tethering, CPU overclocking and other performance enhancements, soft buttons and other "tablet tweaks", toggles in the notification pull-down (such as wi-fi, Bluetooth and GPS), app permissions management, as well as other interface enhancements. CyanogenMod does not contain spyware or bloatware. In many cases, CyanogenMod may increase performance and reliability compared with official firmware releases.
CyanogenMod is developed as free and open source software based on the official releases of Android by Google, with added original and third-party code.

Procedure:
From Philz Touch recovery (Factory Reset/Clean to install a new rom)
Flash the rom zip
Flash 5.0 gapps
reboot
Issues:
First boot is laggy and flickers a lot. ( Wait and keep trying to get into the system)
Google chome is not working.
Some apps will not work with lollipop build.
History of this rom:
With the inspiration of Mr. Silesh Nair i was trying to make a cyanogenmod for SPH-L600. And after a long time i managed to adopt the device tree from meliusltexx. And then Mr. Silesh Nair compiled the rom for us and fixed most of the major bugs. I thank him from my heart.

Good luck guys.
Overclocked kernel
This kernel is tested on NE4 rom. After flashing it with odin i have not found any problem. Even i didn't had to push the kernel modules. But before you flash it make a nandroid backup. I am not responsible for bricked device and i am not a developer too.

Yup. It's finally here. CM11 with basically everything* working.
*Working:
Pretty much everything:
2G/3G/LTE (no Roaming bug)
Camera (back and front-facing and LED flash, no 4K recording as it's not in CM yet)
Sound
Bluetooth Media, Wearable connections (tested with a Moto 360 and JayBird Bluebuds X BT Headset, even at the same time, and it works fine)
Screen (duh)
Proximity, Accelerometer, Gyroscope
SDCard read/write
Not working:
Wireless Charging (it works but it's very, very slow ( @invisiblek pls fix))
Bluetooth Calls (Media works perfectly fine, and even when connected with a wearable, but BT calls don't work (sound comes through, but people cannot hear you))
"GPS is a little derpy" - @invisiblek 2014 (you'll get a lock, but it'll probably take you a little bit)
Installation Instructions:
*NOTE*: You must be Bump'd for this to work. This requires flashing via custom recovery.
1. Download this and GApps (recommended PA GApps here)
2. Put both on Internal Storage
3. Reboot into recovery
4. BACKUP CURRENT ROM
5. Factory Reset/Wipe
6. Flash CM11 (no need to wipe System)
7. Flash GApps
8. Reboot
9. ???
10. Profit
Download: here (new builds will also show up in there)
Please note that I'm not the official maintainer ( @invisiblek is). I take absolutely no credit other than getting him off his ass to fix stuff. Everything is his and the CM team's work (and whoever helped him).

And. Here. We. Go
Exactly how derpy is the GPS? Is the delay in getting a signal super long?
After using the LG ui since I got the phone at release, it's ridiculous how smooth this is. Very noticeable difference in performance. Thank you
I've been using cm since my galaxy S! Love the ui simple yet effective. Cm never had let me down.
All I can say is..

First Test Report..... SUCCESSFUL
After Testing around with the unofficial build I can whole-heartedly say... good work devs!
We have a working build of CM 11 Running on a VS985
Everything seems to be working, although the dpi / resolution bug that makes the device run/look more like a tablet than a phone (See photos)

personally, i've got to wait, bluetooth calling is like the number 1 most important thing for my use.
Eighteenth!
Okay, I'm a little slow.
Great job @invisiblek and team!
Using it now! Had to get SuperSU like someone suggested and changed the DPI to stock. Looks great. Immediately notice a speed difference
Awesome thanks devs! Until the Bluetooth bug gets fixed I cant use it since I use BT all day. But does this use the laser autofocus on the camera?

You used the search function of the forums.
If you are the only one having a problem. Boot into recovery, wipe data/factory reset, reflash the rom/gapps and nothing else. Boot up and see if the problem persists.
Make sure your post is relevant to this thread.
Logs! You can use this: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.tortel.syslog
Some tips and tricks:
No touchscreen support, very little of the UI works with the touchscreen so to setup and use the device you will need a Bluetooth controller/remote personally I am using an Xbox Controller that has Bluetooth but I have also confirmed that the nexus player remote works as well. Pretty much anything that has buttons will work.
Due to the light sensor not working I would recommend you use UnderBurn from the google play store in its place it works very well you will need to launch it through something like ChainFire's great Sideload Launcher (as the lineage AppDrawer/LineageCustomizer apps aren't ready for the new Oreo LeanbackLauncher format yet.
Netflix and Google Play Movies both fail because L1 is broken. Due to some apps not being able to fallback to L3 when L1 fails, You could sideload the phone/tablet version of Netflix (which uses L3, but is limited to 720p), and launch it through something like ChainFire's great Sideload Launcher (as the lineage AppDrawer/LineageCustomizer apps aren't ready for the new Oreo LeanbackLauncher format yet.
Casting to the tablet from another phone/tablet does not work due to restrictions put in place by google for casting to work it needs special keys in the keybox that are justly only provisioned on atv devices. So unless i can find a way to hack around it they will never work.
Screenshots/Pictures:
Sorry for the bad picture
You made the front page.
https://www.xda-developers.com/samsung-galaxy-view-android-tv-port/
You should change the DPI to 320 (= same as 1080p tv) or maybe 280
If we had another android tv device can the keys be copied to get casting to work?
Hi I have an SM-T670 and I haven't been able to get this version of the OS installed on my Galaxy View. I've tried installing it from the bootloader off of an SD Card, as well as using adb to try to push it. Neither have worked. I've also looked at using the Lineage downloader, TWRP app, Tether and ROM Manager and haven't found a recovery that is compatible with this particular hardware. Could you provide some guidance about the best way to perform this installation? Thanks in advance! -Adam
Hi, I am a user of shield tablet so I couldn't enjoy your development... But I'm interested in your work since our device also have LineageOS and I think it's not impossible to change my tablet into shield tv! So if it's not rude, can you teach me what you changed from the original LineageOS source? Thnx
(Sorry for my bad English)
I don't plan to continue development of this, it was really just for fun. Maybe i'll do a pie one as well.

I didn't try it yet, I'm waiting for feedback of other users;
My phone is my work phone at the same time, so I can't risk random reboots, no working banking apps, no internet on switching SIM, no chromecast etc
Thank you for the ROM! I installed it on my phone yesterday and encountered no bugs or glitches so far.
Tested and working (among other things): Calling, Messaging, Cameras, Fingerprint, GPS, Dual SIM, Work profile, Magisk, Hotspot and USB tethering, Fast charging (I think?), Gesture navigation, Always on-screen display, Alarms...
What doesn't work: Custom default notification sound, MIUI/ANX camera app (as a Magisk module), but this is unfortunately expected; if anyone figures this out, please share it with us.
Overall, I am very happy with this release.
Will probably flash this today, getting tired of my crdroid lag-ness and overall UI glitched, my old whyred with HaVoc is 3 times more smooth even today with a battery f'ed and bent chassis from a 2nd floor drop.
Will report back.
can i just dirty flash instead of the unofficial Arrow OS 13.0 or maybe i must go for clean flash for using it ? thx

Hi, can you please try 2 SIM cards internet on both , banking app, and chromecast?
Thanks.
PS: system usually lags when using Magisk. Try without magisk.

is slowmo video working? 120/240/960 fps?
I liked it a lot, solve several problems I had with MIUI.
some random reboots and Youtube Vanced is removed then.
I'm testing with magisk
