Hey guys.. so I have my canvas HD for like 2 years now and I absolutely love my mobile more than anything.. I rooted it a week after buying it and might have installed custom roms a thousand times.. never faced any problems whatsoever... two weeks ago, while I was normally using my mobile, everything started to force close, so to get rid of that, I restarted my phone... guess what, it never turned on again.. it was stuck on the boot logo.. I tried going into recovery and flast rom again but all I saw was this can't mount error and can't find recovery log when I try to wipe data or format it.. had no luck whatsoever with sp flash tools too... then I decided to give it in a service center, the guys returnedy mobile 2 days after and it was completely dead.. it didn't even turn on... they just told me that its not accepting any software and I took it and left.. if someone can please help me with this, I would be happy.. I came across many problems but this one is ending up without any solution.. please help guys, I don't want to lose my canvas HD.. I love it too much..

I am too facing the same problem,however not yet given to service center. Stuck at the boot logo. Rooted and have been using Sam Flare v 6.3 ROM.
u must have tried to swap the partitions
it seem that u tried to swap the memories..... I too encountered the problem but after giving it to service centre they repaired it in 30min and i am having canvas hd clone qmobile A600 and here service is too good i feel sorry for u

I was successful in restoring the touch screen.
Cause the loss of touch on my machine because i flashed wrong rom.I flashed this rom. I also do not understand why I did so. It is stupid, no.... really very idiot. The only thing what i still remember that is i install it when i want go to sleep
After two days of struggling with many tutorials on internet and flashed my phone so many times with many different rom. I was happy to finally restore the touch screen. It was a beautiful day.So I wrote this tutorial to share everybody like me and hope my toturial could help you.
When your sk17i has same problem like me. Calm down and follow absolute accuracy my guide.
Step 1: Use flashtool flash kernel CM10 (here) or rage-kernel (here). I was used CM10. ( If want flash custom kernel, u must unlock bootloader. This is toturial.)
Step 2: Flash rom Ultimate HD 2.0.2 but chose device is ACTIVE (dont choose your device). Finished, turn on your phone and wait 5 mins. And i gues your phone will stop at black screen. Dont worry about that, remove battety and go to next step.
Step 3: Flash again above rom (ultimate HD 2.0.2) but choose MINI PRO. Finished, do not turn on your phone.
Step 4: Flash .62 stock rom for sk17i (download here). And finished toturial, your touch screen will restore.

Yes, i restored my touch screen by this way.
I dont sure my toturial will work with ST15i because i nerver test on st15i, i fixed success on sk17i.
You can try here. It maybe work because have many persons success.

Hi! I tried it on my SK17i. Just want to clarify, after flashing ROM for MINI PRO in step 3, what exactly do I do (You said don't turn on)? do I flash stock ROM while in the recovery screen? Or turn off phone by pulling the battery off before flashing stock ROM?
I can't make it work yet, but I am still trying. Nevertheless, thank you because this is so far the only method that gets my touch screen working after flashing custom ROM for Active but no good after completing the steps.:good:

You need an unlocked bootloader to flash the kernel and yes these kernels are prerooted

1. Download CM10 kernel or rage kernel ( I used rage 3.2)
2. Flash the kernel
3. Flash Ultimate HD 2.0.2 rom and choose the one for active <- and my phone booted with touchscreen working :victory::victory::victory::victory::victory:

i have fixed it. but second step when i install with mini pro touch screen again gone. so i installed it third time by active ST17i and it fixed, keypad not working fixed by ,apk file and all working perfectly. now i want to know is there any problem by using active rom on mini pro

Hey guys,I have sk17i (ics stock Rom, locked bootloader) I'm facing bootloop problem when I try on my Bluetooth. Whenever this happens I try to restore my backup file through cwm.it will work few days without any problem bluetooth also works fine but after few days what happens dont know when i open bluetooth it will go into boot loop. I have been repeating this cycle over a month finally I thought to take anybody's help and solve this problem. Can anybody help me in solving this problem pls guys help me it's disgusting me.......

Well it is a problem with some of the phones, especially xmps...my friend had this and he didn't wanted to root or unlock bl...but finally after trying tons of methods when we couldn't solve it I unlocked bootloader, flashed custom kernel, reflashed the rom and everything is fine till date

I flashed my s3 more than 20 times so far and everything was ok since last night when it turns on normaly but when he came to choose country and language I noticed that my touch screen dont work, than I flashed official samsung rom via odin of course and flashing was ok but touchscreen still the same! I flashed several time with official rom but same thing every time! Pleese help I dont have contract so can any1 tell me is this software problem or hadware! If you know how to fix it I would be very thankfull....

No one can help unless you give accurate information. Start from the top. List every step you took and every file you used to get from a working state to the broken state you're in now
Tell us what rom you were on when working and if rooted. Whole thread is confusing

My mistake, so:
1. My phone was rooted long time ago
2. I use omega jelly bean v40 from begining, i tryed others but always returned on omega with no problem
3 . this time I started with flashing JB 4.2.2 official from sammobile, and i done it normaly
4. i wanted still to return on omega like many times so far, and i just flashed omega, and on screen startup when there is chosing language and country i noticed my touch screen dont work
5. than i tryed to flash stock ics and everything was ok but same problem touch screen wont work
6. I tryed several time with same results
7. man who fix phones told me that i need to replace touch and screen, it will make burn hole in my pocket :crying:

I have problems flashing Roms I dont know what could be the reason. Couple days ago my SD card died I bought a new one I tried to flash the new version of Tweaked I forgot to made a back up and for some reason my phone will get stuck on the "Galaxy note 2" screen or return to the TWRP menu I tried to flash at least 5 different roms and same results the only one It was able to boot was Clean rom 3.1. I updated TWRP to the latest version and still having the same issues if any one can tell me what to do I will appreciate it

You do know first boots take a while right? You should wait up to or at least 10 minutes for the first boot of a rom.

And now it works.
So, I seem to actually have things working now and I figured I should give a quick update.
Before, I was using a nightly of P.A.C. rom, because I didn't see anything more stable at the time. Now I've switched to a milestone rom and it boots just fine. At this point, I think I'd pin the blame on a glitch the rom I was trying to flash; given the fact that Cyanogen and the current iteration work fine
Hello . iam having issues , after flashing a rom for my htc one m7 , s-On , after flashing it . stupid cos i had mybe to change to S-Off, anyway the phone now stuck on the welcome page from the new ROM , and i get on display a message "Unfortunately ,Google Text-to speech Engine has stopped , i cant though press anything . . i try to get in to recovery but cant . now in the left corner says Safe mode . Very frustrated ... any advice=? iam a mac owner but i could use my moms .
i got a few days before i go abroad and i would preffer having the phone with me .. .. i dont know what to do .
i try to find some info here .. maybe if some one knows that there is some info here sent me the link?

Guys, my mobile hangs often. While I am using my mobile it will be working fine. But, when the screen locks automatically or when I lock screen manually, it stucks. I cannot unlock again. Simply black screen.
I have to remove battery and do hard reboot so that it will work fine again. It is not happening all the time. But daily at-least twice it is happening. But most of the time it is working good. I can lock and unlock manually. I can unlock after an automatic lock.
Any solution, is this because of the memory usage?? I am not an expert in mobiles and I just started exploring your site. I need your help friends.

Luffy, My phone is still in warranty period. If I flash custom ROM, warranty cannot be claimed in any case. So thinking about that.
Also, I haven't flashed customer ROM before. I may crash the phone. If you have any links that show exact steps to do I can try. I know nothing in flashing, if I have detailed procedure for noobs I can try.

To Install Any Custom You Have To Follow The Steps On The Rom Thread Mention by OP
But Before Fist You Need To Install any custom recovery and root

What kind of lock you'r using? Slide, camera, voice? Best to use slide. No lags works best.

I bought this phone 2 years back as soon as it got released and using this even now and has been using with 3G since then and till last month.
The hanging problem explained in this series of issues has started happening on my phone from last month only.
Any remedy with the same , As i repeated the steps told above and the problem still persists.
