I had the same problem ...
Its basically 10GB part memory of yours internal is unallocated.
Google "Mini Tool parition wizard" and drag your unallocated memory to full !!
And there you go !!

English Instructions
Disappearance of internal storage, I have recovered over.
I'm going mobile phone built-in memory copy more than a 500GB ROM last night, found that the use of USB connection computer copy too slow, directly unplug the USB cable, the result is a internal storage card cannot be identified, I reboot into recovery mode to internal storage(/storage/sdcard1) for NTFS format. After reboot, mobile phone disappeared after restart 10Gb internal storage back.
Before I had formatted internal storage, but the size of 1GB, I don‘t know why this format after the normal.

Hi all,
I just noticed that my mass storage is not displaying my actual 32GB as it used to when It had Gingerbread on...instead it now displays only 11.4GB as the mass storage space available...can somebody clarify this to me? Am I missing something? I have checked my apps usage and there's nothing that's using up all the space, I don't even have any movies or anything that may take up the space..so i'm not sure what's going on here. I also remember it used to show around 29GB instead of 32, but not 11GB as it is doing now !!!

did you mount your external sd on pc and check the size? goto disc management in windows and see if you accidentally partitioned your card.

Btw, I'm talking about the Mass storage not the memory card...my memory card is fine.
A friend just told me that something may have partitioned my mass storage by mistake or something...is there a way to fix this Via CWM without having to erase everything??
That is common for people that flash a rom with the wrong pit (which you should never use) The only fix is to get the right pit file and flash your phone again.
shadowofdarkness is correct, if not you are seeing your external as internal (some custom roms or CWMs tend to mix this up) and it's a partitioning problem.
Thanks alot shadowdarkness for the hint...I was going nuts...I reflashed with the correct pit file and the mass storage is correct now

my internal storage is down to 1gb and i was thinking of cleaning my internal usb storage and starting out fresh. Which folders should i backup on my pc and copy back after formatting internal usb storage? Are there any folders located on internal usb storage that would affect my phone from running properly aside from app datas? Is the efs folder stored in the internal usb storage? Thanks for any comments.

If you format it using the phone, it won't erase the efs folder, but I suggest that, if you haven't, you back it up before you do literally anything else, because you never know when something could happen to damage it, but normally, formatting the internal storage itself won't. The internal storage is an SD storage partition built into the phone itself. The efs folder and other important OS stuff is separate from it under normal circumstances.
Use the EFS Pro backup tool you'll find here on the forum. It's fast and easy. I wouldn't try to do it manually unless you know what you are doing, because it probably won't work, and actually could screw up the efs. The tool is safe and it works great. I've used it to both backup and restore my efs folder in an emergency, and it has worked perfectly.
One advise, copy all your internal sd data to pc, and browse forbwhat you need and what you can delete
Main data are:
Your camera photos
Files you download
Data files for apps and games
The last one can be redownloaded at worst, the first can be lost if not saved

If your on custom kernel like siyah/dorimanx etc u can format internal storage and if your on stock firmware theere's an option to format storage/factory reset right?.. like it's a secret
Manage to format my internal memory from setting>storage>select format usb storage
Unmount external storage 1st for precaution measures & backup all files in internal storage in your pc.
Flashed stock firmware to get fresh OS through odin.
Hi everyone,
I have troubles since 4 days with my i9100 (under CM11)
Since 4 days, I cannot access anymore to the internal memory (sdcard0)
My SD Card works (sdcard1). It's even recognized by my computer when I plug my smartphone by USB.
However, the intern card (sdcard0) is not showed anymore when I plug my smartphone by USB to my computer.
I can't access to the Gallery. The message "no external storage available" appears.
With Es File Explorer, for sdcard0, the app shows the following message "SD card unmounted".
However, in the Settings, when I go to Storage, internal storage is recognized… it show only applications, some cached datas and available storage (total space 1,97Gb ; Available 672 Mb).
In the Recovery, I tried "mount /storage/sdcard0" but it shows : "Error mounting /storage/sdcard0 !"
Does the internal storage is down ?
My smartphone is still functional, I can update applications and install new ones, etc. So I have difficulties to think that the internal storage is fully down.
However, I cannot update CyanogenMod with CMUpdater (I tried a restoration of a Nandroid backup but it crashed… probably because of this internal storage problem) which normally writes on sdcard0.
My version of CM is actually 11-20141024-Nightly-i9100 (it was more recent before the restauration which have strangely crashed… but works!)
What can I do ?
Thanks for your help
P.S : I tried many forums (particularly french forums because I'm French… sorry if I made mistakes on my post) but nobody answered me.

Try flashing back to stock rom and see what happens. If it doesnt help, use a pit file to repartition your phone's memory.
I too have the same problem with the internal memory. My s2 is running CM11 right now. And suddenly it have problem with it MMC. Apps like camera, Bluetooth, and downloading files from the Internet seem impossible to receive any file coz I set it stored in the MMC.. Then I checked the setting > storage, the memory card was there. It detects it's total memory. My internal memory however have shrank to total of 1.6 GB with free memory 300 MB. Are you using i9100G? Have you restore the stock?

Hi, thanks for your help. What do you mean by "pit file" ? Is there a tutorial somewhere for this operation ?
I really don't think that going back to a stock rom will change anything. It can't be a problem with CM. It's installed on my smartphone since one or two years and I never had any problem.
I've flashed with the recent Omni ROM but it seems that doesn't help at all

I've found the solution. Under the setting > storage. There are two section, internal and SD card. Choose the option to erase SD card on the internal memory.

Scroll down until you see a file named 'stock 2gb' then download that. http://forum.xda-developers.com/gal...es/mod-partition-internal-memory-app-t2538947 Pit files provide information so that you can repartition your phone just incase the worst happens to your phones. It can be used for your problem too. Then, in odin, locate the pit file for the pit selection then tick repartition, oh, btw, make sure you have stock rom with you so you will need to flash back to stock rom by selecting the files under the respective categories. Once that's all done, you can start flashing.

That could work too. But my method better! Doing this will not properly format the internal sd card while my method formats the internal sd card.
Sry.. It's my mistake that I am not giving the full details of the situation. I just realize that for the apps partition, it is set by 2 GB by default. What am I experienced was the SD section for internal memory gone missing. I tried by erasing the SD card. Anyhow, it has been Ok for a while. I'll try to repartition by using your method. Seems that 2 GB is very easy to full

Ok, I just found a solution for my problem, and without formatting anything.
For those who have this problem, you can try it, there are no risk in theory.
I plugged my Android smartphone on my PC.
I went into the Recovery and choose the 'Mount and storage' menu.
Here, I used the 'Mount USB Storage' option. My PC started to recognize the smartphone and I was able to access to my 2memories (sdcard0 and sdcard1).
I made a right click on the sdcard0 and in the 'tools' menu and choose to perform a basic scandisk...
It found errors and correct them.
After that, i made a reboot and my memory was back.
Thank you gsstudios for your help. My solution is not academic (using Windows to repair my smartphone) but it worked !

Ah, so it was a problem with the file system of your sd card, glad that your problem was resolved.
I had the same problem and using the Erase SD card option in the Storage menu worked for me!
Luckily I had already made a complete back-up recently so only a few new files were lost. If I hadn't though, I would have kept looking for a better solution.
Thanks!
Sorry, what do you mean "went to recovery mode?" Means recovery mode in phone (volume up+home+power) or somewhere or an app in pc?
Hello, I have a problem with my Nubia z5s mini. I have a ROM in which I just have 2GB for installing apps. Anybody knows any ROM with more space for apps or any way to change this space? Because the phone has 16GB ROM and now I have just 2GB for apps and it is not enough for me. I know I can move apps to SD card but it's not enough.
Thank you!!

¨Internal Storage¨, the same as the 2GB partition.
Anybody knows something?
Interesting that the system partition is that big. Anyway, download the app DiskUsage and figure out what's taking most space in the /media/Android/data folder. (And other places too).

Hi dudes
So I was wondering if there's a way to increase internal storage on this device
Because well nowadays 4Gb of available memory is.. Well.. Too short
So I heard of the partition table tool, but when I tried It show "parted not found" so I couldn't do anything (Sorry I'm a real noob in this domain)
Note : I'm on RR nougat
And what do you think about adoptable storage with a sd card ? Will it slow my device down ?

In order to partition through adb you need twrp 2.8.7.0. It has parted. Just follow the instructions of page 1 of this thread (h)ttps://forum.xda-developers.com/g2-mini/development/d620-partition-table-tool-t3107664/page1. And make sure to reboot recovery and then format data and cache partitions. You can have up to 6gb of free data, you will need to use the 5.2 gb data in order for rr nougat to work.
Okay... I just tried, but what I was afraid of just happened, I can't access to the recovery (stuck in Twrp logo) and I can't move any app to the sd card, an "insufficient space" error showed up

With adaptable storage, the SD gets encrypted.
In order to able to use it on anything else than the phone, you will need to format it. Use a PC or a recovery that boots.
