Thanks! Works like a charm (after I figured out that I should uninstall the old Gear Fit first). Just a quick question... it's v1.49. I understand there are newer versions out there. Are they incompatible or is this a better version?

Yep, me too. Its a hidden setting on Lollipop.
Just download Android Wear, and click in the option where says 'Enable Android Wear Notifications' and enable Gear Fit Manager there, then, remove Android Wear. It's the solution i found, if someone found other simplest...

Hi again!
I see people doesn't like version 1.48, so i patched the latest one.
Now Music Player works, and some things have been modified to be working at 100% on Lollipop. (They were using ****ing weird APIs for MultiSim use on Gear Fit that crashes on Lollipop... ****in' idiots...)
I think Samsung should pay me for this, or something. I work more than his engineers.

I have a really rough version working. Actually kinda surprised how fast it loads and renders rather complex PDF.
While it can render PDF very well, the app itself is very rough(it's only 2 hours old), I will work on this as I have time, but it may be a while before I can release it especially given how slow Samsung is in approving these things and I have other apps that will be high priority to me.
I'll see if I can do a quick clean up and post a video sometime this week.
I am interested in seeing that video.

For the Gear and Gear 2, you could install uncertified apps so long as the app didn't require any permissions(Like file system), that's why I made a version that just worked of a hardcoded file name because I need filesystem permissions to do the lookup. Apparently however that has been "Fixed" in the gear S
So only certified apps can be installed
Too bad as this works fine on the othee 2 gears.
So my video player app finally made it through, I will start the arduous process for the PDF viewer tomorrow. Minimum turn around time seems to be about a week.

Hello,
Lots of devices from low to mid-end range don't have gyroscope installed, and thanks to that have AR capabilities severely decrased.
I'm working on Xpose module that uses Accelerometer and Magnetic Field Sensor to simulate Gyroscope output.
Module works by creating new Sensor instance and injecting it into SystemSensorManager sensor list after its constructor, so getDefaultSensor(Sensor.TYPE_GYROSCOPE) will return it.
Module registers then SensorEventListeners for accel and magnet sensors and does it's calculations on accelerometers update and calls onSensorChanged of listener that uses it.
I'm still working on calculating velocities properly and getting good quality noise-free output. I did some progress on this but it still does not work as intended. (rotation directions seem correct, or maybe are swapped or inverted, but that can by easily fixed, problem is with values, which are simply wrong.) Testing it is a problem though, since I don't own any device with actual gyro, so I'll be gratefull for any feedback.
xda won't let me post normal link yet, so here is repo: https://github.com/Mourdraug/GyroEmu/
And here is apk: https://github.com/Mourdraug/GyroEmu/raw/master/app/GyroEmu_0.1.apk

First off, forgive me if I'm not submitting this correctly - this is my first XDA post ever. I can't use DevDB since I don't yet have permissions?
This project originated from me attempting to update SnapPrefs for a newer Snapchat version. I grew frustrated with the amount of work it takes to migrate SnapPrefs to a new version of SnapChat. There is so much functionality built into SnapPref that it takes a serious amount of detective work to find new hook points and work around architecture changes every new Snapchat release.
I built this streamlined Xposed module with one primary purpose: intercept all incoming snaps and save them to external storage. Any additional functionality will be considered but my main goal is to keep a fast paced development cycle that would allow the module to keep up with new releases. I plan on keeping the project in sync within a couple of releases of the latest Snapchat version. This is only possible due to the streamlined functionality.
There are a couple of improvements that are likely sometime in the future:
Chat media is not currently saved
Group Snaps are not currently saved
There is no way to save Stories
There's also one more thing I added: If your phone has a front facing flash (such as the Moto X) this module will make Snapchat use it for front facing pictures when flash is enabled.
Github link: github.com/lithirium/SnapIntercept (Can't make it a link since I'm new here).
You can download this module in the Xposed Module Repository under the name "SnapIntercept".
August 15, 2017: New version has been posted that is compatible with version 10.15.0.0 of Snapchat.
Very thank you

Anybody have this app? Beause on site download are not avalaible. "The “LZPlay” website and download links are no longer accessible. Even if you grabbed the APK before it was gone, it no longer works, as the special certificate required to access the “backdoor” is either revoked by the developer or Huawei. In addition, existing devices that used LZPlay to install GMS no longer passes full SafetyNet Attestation, rendering many apps and services unusable, such as Google Pay and many games."

Sorry to tell you that LZPlay method has been definitely banned by Google and Huawei. The full story is written in this XDA post but - good to know - there's a happy end for all of us: a brand new method.
It has been described in that post for Huawei Mate 30/30 Pro, but many users says it works with success also for Honor 8x/9x.
Hope it helps you (and let us know if it resolved your case)
