Slowness When Screen Turns On - Sprint Samsung Galaxy Note 3

Hello All,
I am still on minin3 5.7. All of a sudden, when I turn on the screen, it lags and I see the clock slowly change to the current time. Is there anything I can do in system tuner to speed up the phone on wake?
Thanks.

Background downloads and processes

I'm running the 5/29 Imnuts PBJT kernel with comm rom 1.3.
I use an app called tubemate to download YouTube videos.
Lately, I've noticed that if my screen goes off, the phone will throttle back the speed my my download to almost nothing. When I unlock it, it speeds up vastly.
So unless I want to wait for an hour for a 20 Meg download, I have to keep it awake.
Same holds true for ttorrent downloads...
Can anyone explain to me why that happens. Is it normal behavior....is something not set up right....is there a way to give a process higher priority when the screen is off for downloads.....what's the deal? It's really annoying.

Have you changed any clock speed settings? Maybe your cpu is slowing down when the screen is off?

First delete from system/app all lg stuff that you don't use than flash djnoxd's kernel and install from playstore no frills cpu and set the governor to interactivex that your procesor to use cpu when you open or use an app and when is on sleep mode your battery to don't be used.
Hope you understand my explanation

I did the following
Auto sync off.
Background data unchecked.
Display settings to lower to 10%.
Uninstall the unwanted apps.
Ringtones, media volume to medium.
Haptic feedback unchecked.
But I am getting low battery what I do.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Antutu Scores

I'm on Jelly Beans 5 with the newest perseus kernel (30.1) and my benchmark scores have never passed 18500. I'm seeing posts where people have gotten over 2 grand. I know benchmarks don't mean a whole lot but I was wondering if someone could post some settings for me to change in sTweaks or whatever to get my scores up.
Thanks!

Screenshots? In the gestures menu enable "palm swipe to capture" and then swipe your hand across the screen whenever you want a screenshot.

New kernel version is 30.1
Also, if you want to screenshot without enabling motion settings you can use the S-pen.
Hold the button on the pen and long press the screen.
18082 for me on CleanRom 3.5
I dont take much stock in these. I mainly run it to compare how the GPU does compared to my last phone.
