How to revert back to stock?

I've had CM 10 (or 10.1, can't remember)... installed and updated nightlies until early march... My wife's taking my phone and I'm upgrading. Is there a guide to revert back to the stock ROM?
Thanks

Stock would be ok, I guess, but what about putting a stable touchwiz based jelly bean rom on it for her. Remember the original stock in Gingerbread, and the latest is ICS.

Or you can use shostock 3 which is 4.1.2 based and it is solid as daily. No issues whatsoever

Alternitive kernel for CM 10.1

I have a little confusion here.
I have CM 10.1 loaded on my Note i717 and its constantly locking up. I have heard many people have great luck flashing an alternative kernel to fix the problem. However, how do I chose a kernel? I have looked all over and don't want to flash any old kernel.
Can any one recommend a kernel that's compatible with my Note i717 running CM 10.1 7/14 nightly.

Are both of those compatible with the i717 galaxy note? Sorry if that's a stupid question but I assume kernels are specific for phones right?
Why don't you follow the links and find out?

Its a simple question, I would rather not brick my phone out of my own ignorance.
Sorry, Spoon feeding is not an option here.

You don't have to be a jerk. I hope someday when you have a question you get treated the same way.

Thanks for your help. I'm using the Uber Kernel. So far so good. It will take a few days to see if this makes a difference.

Flashing the stock rom's kernel should take care of that..but i believe the two red lines will still be in there when going into recovery mode, but should not be in there when just booting into your phone (OS), and CM is pretty stable i believe.

That cannot be fixed. Any kernel other then stock kernel will give you those warnings. And cm works only with its kernel, so you outta luck with removing those lines if you wanna use a custom rom.
Same with recovery. CM is very stable.
Sorry about the wrong info as i thought you were still on 4.2.2 and not 4.4.2, didn't pick up on that part for some reason..

[Q] Will the new ota help make custom roms more stable?

I was just wondering if now that there is a 4.4.2 ota out for the DNA that it will make the custom roms more stable? I updated to it and kept root and it doesn't seem to be any different and I hate the stock ui. Want to go back to a custom Rom but they all seem to have some issue or other that gets old over time so I end up crack flashing everything on here every few days haha.

Yea I saw that a couple days ago. Guess I worded it wrong. Now that the droid has a stock 4.4.2 will the developers be able to take whatever parts they need from it to fix the bugs etc on custom roms? Or will the DNA having the 4.4.2 radio and kernels etc will it make the custom roms such as the m7 and m8 ports and Google editions of 4.4.2 more stable?
HTC did in fact release the 442 kernel source, so new 442 Roms will be stable and I can fix z and my beast mode kernel

4.4.2 Sense based ROMs definitely should be much better. The CM based ones probably not a big difference.
