I am looking to try some of these in this post but the only thing is that I have heard using some of these ROMs while using these audio programs kind of causes the sound to not work. Any experience with this problem?

yes that happens with every 3rd party sound mod u install on SOME roms.
i have had this problem only on AOKP based roms.
there is no problem with CM or Liquid Smooth or any of these stock based roms.
if u have any problem u can report it below. i'll guide u if u have any

Yeah that's not where u activate it from. Preferably freeze the stock audio effects app by using root titanium backup. If not just switch off the stock audio effects. Then go into the viper fx/xhifi app and see driver status. If it says NO then enable the drivers after which u will have to reboot. Do the same for both the apps
After that u may see viper in the sound settings panel too

Post reading the entire stuff, am dazzled with the installation process, therefore, request you to kindly help me with the step by step INSTALLATION PROCESS...as i sincerely want to experience the audio effects of this software.

OK
1) go to the original link and download the apks for viperfx and viper xhifi.
2) use root browser lite and and go to system-> app directory and delete any other audio mod eg. Dsp manager or the stock audio effects. (Optional step)
3) if u were not able to do the above just switch off any audio effects profile
4) go to your downloads folder and install the viper fx app first normally. Open that app and click on install /update driver (choose cortex a9 with NEON)
After installing it will ask to reboot. Do not reboot right now
5) then go the viper xhifi app and install (choose cortexax with NEON) and update driver. It will ask to reboot. Now reboot.
The basics are done.
If u want really high quality profiles for playing with cheap earphones go to the original link and download the convolver samples. Transfer then to the phone and place all of them in the SD card/viper4 android/kernel folder.
If u still did not understand pm me with all the details eg. Your ROM and your audio mod, and where exactly u do not understand

i follow the guide but neither the option is being showned in sound settin menu nor any effects applied ...i m on jellybean stock rom rooted......i enabled both software still nothing...i tried changing from normal mode to compatible mode ....safe mode to normal mode so on..but still no changes i even deleted audio effects from system menu...but still not working ...pls help..

could u try rebooting once again? if there is no change i can confirm that it is not running on stock roms. but it is running on my stock based rom though try on normal mode only. no need to switch to compatible mode and all
And are u using any music player with its own equalizer? if yes it is bound to not work

thnx 4 quick reply mate i restarted many many times after every settings changed .k i will try in google music but the problem is google play music doesnt show all songs on sd card for some reason i tried searching solutions on so many sites but none seems to be working so i m currently using poweramp ...i will try google music n post results if it works

This mod will work only when there is no other equalizer installed. It will definitely not work with poweremp. I have all my music on the ext SD card and play music works flawlessly. Uninstall power amp and try. Tell me if u still have problems.

I personally love moto camera and gallery. And with the latest update moto camera has also got manual exposure. So may of you may like to have the latest moto apps on your phone. Therefore I present you the latest camera and gallery app. There are many other flashable zip but they are old.

I hav installed moto gallery( which sucks) nd moto camera( which also sucks)...these r all stock rom apps....so if i flshed this zip any chance of overlapping with existing apps or any chance of bootlooping...using tp1.1 rom

This should basically work with any ROM. I have tested it on many CM based ROM's . Not tried on Titan Prime ROM . But it should work.
You said you installed moto camera & gallery. You mean you already have those app on your phone ?
Backup using your recovery and flash it , if any problem occurs recover it, and do report.
This will break theme engine?
For me this zip has never broke the theme engine. Yes when I used other zip on xda once my theme engine broke. For safety I recommend you to first switch to default android theme, then flash my zip.

Yes I know gallery app has been updated . But I don't think it has any important changes. So not thinking of updating it (I don't even have that apk) . But if any important meaningful update arrives I will sure update the zips. ! :highfive:

Which ROM+theme are you using ? Provide me logcat,I will see if I can help you.
Did you wiped dalik cache after flashing this zip , if not do that first.
If anyone wants to revert back to default CM camera & gallery app after flashing this zip. You can flash MotoCameraUndo.zip provide above. !!
Photos don't get deleted after I choose to delete them. They only disappear from the list until I reopen the gallery.
Any possible way to fix it?
No such issue here. Do a dalvik cache wipe to see if problem fixes.!!

This zip doesn't not support play store update. Slow motion camera doesn't work as mentioned in first Post, this is some rom decoder problem I can't fix it.
Zip has been updated to latest camera and gallery app as of 15-june -2015 . You can update your old app by flashing new one. You can dirty flash ( i.e just flash the new zip ). But do a dalvik cache wipe. Enjoy !!

I have the same problem. I did clear cache+dalvik and flashed latest zip today (problem was present before too)

Hey everyone, this guide's mostly for Samsung J7 Users running on 5.1.1: (Skip steps if you've done them )
*BusyBox app needed to run Viper4Android:
*Download the Custom Kernel V2 from this thread and flash with TWRP, wipe cache/dalvik, reboot:

You need a permissive kernel to make your day easier.
Download the modified stock or optimized one and flash using TWRP.... then it will work

The viper4android on samsung device, is really a good thing to all of them who like sound enhancement, even i also, now ... i am samsung galaxy j7 prime SM-G610F user, and i just root my phone successfully today's evening, and install such as couple of app which belong on rooted phone including viper4android but, i m stuck for the same error, the viper4android was install completely-driver status is normal-supported but as soon i as start music, after 3 4 sec it just stop work, i reboot my phone after installing new driver but hopeless, if this is work for sm-g610f, or any way to use this enhancement on my device.. pls help me, i miss my v4a

Android 6.0 Marshmallow? Do you encounter any compatibility issues (eg. Maxx audio force closing)? Download version 4.1 Muses of eXtremebeats.
Lollipop? Kitkat? LG Stock? AOSP? Anything but android M 6.0? Download version 5.0 Apollo (or higher) of eXtremeBeats.

How do I install this?
After downloading and placing all the files to your internal storage, do this:
If you have Android 5.0/5.1 then go to developer options and make sure you disable the Nu Player and use Awesomeplayer instead.
Install the correct version of eXtremeBeats zip via the recovery.
Extract the ViPER4Android folder from my zip to your internal storage.
Install Viper4Android app (if you don't have it already), open it, and select Super Audio Quality driver, then reboot.
Open Viper4Android - press the menu button - UI Setting - Expert.
How do I use this?
Connect your headphones - open Viper4Android - press the menu button - Load Effect Profile - and load a profile of your choice!
Which profiles should I use?
If you are on LG based ROM (stock LP, KK) then use LG ROM Bass profile.
If you are using AOSP, use AOSP Bass or AOSP Rock profile.
If you want to create a new profile, then use Basic Template as a template - it has an equalizer made for QuadBeat2 headphones.
If you're using different headphones, then try these profiles first, and customize them to your taste. It will work without any problems.
Do not be afraid to experiment with Viper, try all the settings, change them, combine them, create new profiles and most of all, don't forget to press thanks!
Note: I did not create the eXtremeBeats mod, but I felt like I have to share my combination with you, because the music sounds amazing, no matter the ROM (stock/AOSP).

Sorry but i am kinda noob. I extracted your zip and found 3 folders DDC, Kernel & Profile (AOSP BASS, AOSP ROCK Basic Template & LG ROM Bass ). And i don't have any idea which folder where to place required your help.
Profiles need to be place in viper/profiles but i dont know abour other files
And one more thing everytime i am opening viper app it is asking to install driver which i have done already multiple times.

All 3 folders should be extraced to the ViPER4Android folder in the sdcard folder (meaning the DDC, Kernel and Profile folder is inside ViPER4Android folder).
Did you grant Viper root permissions? Did you reboot after isntalling the driver? Is your SELinux set to permissive? If so, then try to google for help.

Try setting the UI settings to Expert in the Viper menu, and lower the bass boost a bit.
Or, if you like it that way, try playing with the settings a bit.
Please try to share it with more people, as I feel it does not get as much views as it deserves.

Just load up basic template profile (with the equalizer only) and try setting things up by yourself! Set the UI settings (in the Viper menu) to Expert, and try changing the Convolvers

Just tried this mod and i'm not sure I did things correctly and just want to make sure of a few things.
1.) I am using a 5.1.1 rom so I installed extremebeats 5.0. Is that correct?
2.) I see that there were 4 apks installed into my system\app folder, but not in a specific app folder like other system apps. Also, those apps don't show up in my apps list. Is this all normal? Am I supposed to have access to those apps for any reason?

2.) I see that there were 4 apks installed into my system\app folder, but not in a specific app folder like other system apps. Also, those apps don't show up in my apps list. Is this all normal? Am I supposed to have access to those apps for any reason?

You cant install V4A on 5.1.1 . Perform a full backup if you are going to try. You can flash Extremebeats too but as i said before run a full backup in recovery to secure your device and avoiding bootloops . Before all these check if your SELinux is set to permissive .

I believe the problem is somewhere else, because I use BlissPop based on CM 12.1 (Android 5.1.1) and I am using Viper.
So, you can install Viper on Android 5.1.1.
Hi. thanks to @mannyvzla finally i got Viper4Android to work. on Stock Rom, Stock Kernel and Marshmallow!
here are the steps. (you need rooted s5)
1.Install busy box.
2.flash this file via recovery menu https://www.dropbox.com/s/k9cnruw2e1t1d4t/ViPER4Android-supolicy.zip?dl=0
(it will allow viper4android for your stock kernel)
3.after that go to SuperSU Settings and uncheck the entry for namespaces.
4.install viper4android normally (just download the original apk and install it)
5.install the driver, restart phone
6.enjoy your music In BEST QUALITY

Installed on a Canadian sm-900w8, stock.
I also froze the built in music player, adapt sound and google music to make sure it wouldn't interfere.
I couldn't locate the music effects in either the default player or google music, which is why I disabled them.
Again thanks for this, my device sounds great!

If you go into Viper and change the Ui setting to moderate it will open more options being Master Gate which is under Extra Loud. Both of these options can give a boost.

I tried this. The drivers were installed normally. But whatever options I enable in the V4A, it doesn't have any effect on the sound. I'll try it again.

Make sure to also try selecting "Compatible" mode in "Settings - FX Compatible Mode". For me if it's on "Normal" there is no effect but when I change it to "Compatible" it works fine.

Worked great for me. I first had to switch from MagiskSU back to SuperSU, which was tricky. I also needed to use compatible mode. Using it with Spotify.
