Hi,
Every time I restart my phone after enabling the USB debugging option under Developer options on my Moto E, the USB DEbugging option gets turned off. How can I keep it enabled.
I suspect that it doesn't let me perform adb devices and fastboot devices on my phone when I connect it via USB after restarting the phone in Fastboot mode.
So I've been having a really unlucky day so far.
My Xperia Z2 6502 fell and the screen got cracked. The touch screen is going haywire. I had usb debugging mode enabled and was trying to recover the data using a screen mirror software but due to some bad luck, the random touches on the screen somehow turned debugging off. Also usb was set to charge only.
Is there anyway I can access the internal storage?
In summary:
- Running rooted marshmallow
- BL locked
- Touch screen going haywire
- No recovery installed ( the recovery I had installed was temporary, needed to be installed while booted with debugging enabled)
Any suggestions?
I tried using flashboot mode but I think it requires usb debugging to be enabled?
Can I do anything in fastboot mode?

There is no need for usb debugging for fast boot
And did you tried using mouse with OTG???
If you can see the display, use an OTG cable to connect a mouse, so you can "click on" the screen and enable the USB debugging or make a backup.
First install the fastboot drivers, now enter fastboot mode by holding volume up while your phone is turned off and then plug it into your computer Unlock the bootloader by following these (https://developer.sonymobile.com/unlockbootloader/unlock-yourboot-loader/) instructions.
Now it's time to install twrp, download if from https://dl.twrp.me/sirius and then run fastboot flash recovery /path/to/file you should then be able to boot recovery and access mtp and adb
Happened to me.. grab an otg cable and a mouse, connect to your phone and navigate with the mouse
use the scroll to scroll up and down
I tried to change a broken display on my Xperia Z2 while doing that it seams I fried something since the display is black when I push the start button but if I connect it to the PC it recognizes it as Xperia Z2. The problem is USB debugging is off but I have unlocked the bootloader and I can enter fastboot. Is there any recovery image or recovery kernel with USB debugging on that I can flash to then via adb recover the files and photos on the logic board?
Thanks in advance for the help.

If you can enter fastboot there is no need for USB debugging just flash a kernel that has built in recovery(like elite V3) then reboot the phone to recovery press volume up when LED turned on then connect your phone to PC
MTP is enabled by default on TWRP
Hello,
Same as title.
It's not that simple because USB Debugging is disable and firmware update mode is showed for my PC as MTP device with code 10. (ADB and fastboot dont see any device)
Phone is not connected to wifi.
I have no idea how to recovery it.
Whenever I try to load my Asus MemoPad (me172v) into recovery mode all I get is - No USB cable connection - and when I plug USB to my laptop, it stays the same (I have USB debugging enabled and drivers installed). None of the custom recovery modes are compatible for this device. Any tips on how to bypass/ get rid off the "No USB" screen?
Thanks for any tips
