It's one of the known issues in Samsung devices. Any 3rd-party app with accessibility service enabled with trigger this conflicts with stock keyboard. We developers could do nothing but report it to Samsung:
http://developer.samsung.com/forum/board/thread/view.do?boardName=General&messageId=257350
http://developer.samsung.com/forum/board/thread/view.do?boardName=GeneralB&messageId=204387
but unfortunately Samsung seems never actually fixed these issues.
So, the only solution I could suggest is installing an alternative keyboard tool, such as Google Keyboard or SwiftKey.

Smart Unlock - Compatible with Galaxy S5?

Hello,
We have just launched Smart Unlock app and we need to know if is compatible with Samsung Galaxy S5 because we do not have this device.
Can you please test it and let us know?. Its a 7 day free trial but we can offert a full refund if someone want to buy it, we do not want to take any profit for xda members helping us to test our app.
Tha app is Smart Unlock and extends dafault smart lock functionality by adding wifi trusted devices, bluetooth or wifi, so usar do not have to wirte the lock pattern or pin each time while they are connected at home´s wifi or car´s bluetooth.
Hope you like it and it works properly on galaxy S5, thanks for testing.

No root required, compatible with android 4.1+

Cool, I wonder why is not working on Note 4 , I have removed availability on google play for Note 4, We will try to fix this soon.
Actually this funtion is built in already. You can find it under Settings->Security->Scroll down all the way->Smart Lock
In native smart lock there is no support for trusted WiFi devices. In smart Unlock yes.
Tested on Android 4.4.2, touchwiz, haven't worked on my G900F (International S5 version) using wifi smart unlock. Not sure about bluetooth.
Hello,
We have created a forum thread for this app.
If anyone is interested in following the development and changes here is the XDA link :

Hello, Thanks for your reply.
When you say "didn´t work", what do you mean exactly? Once you are connected to your wifi and you add the wifi to Trusted devices, you should see in the notification that the devices is "unlocked".
Do you see this notification? Yesterday we solved the issues with sony xperia z2 and z3 and now we would like to focus on samsung series, Thanks for your help.

Correct. And yes I saw "device unlocked" but then, when I pressed the power key to lock my device, then pressed it again to wake the device, I still had to input my pattern password.

Ok, so I can guess now what part of the code is being ignored by S5.
Do you have 4.4.2 stock rom?
And, maybe is a noob question for S5 users, but I´m not samsung owner and I dont know specific samsung software, so any help will be appreciate.
Is there any unlocking tool specific for S5 / note4 devices? For example on Z2 series there is a "Smart Connect" app that has included something similar to smart unlock but native on sony devices, also in Z2 there is a native option for unlocking near some BT devices, that was creating conflicts between our app in sony.
Hope we can solve the issues on S5 and Note 4 because are the only devices with problems using Smart Unlock.

I guess we will need a S5 to find a working solution. As I can read in this thread there is 1 user on 4.4.2 and you with android 5.0 and is not working for both of you.
I will try to get an S5 tomorrow, I will keep you informed with a test apk soon. Thanks for your testing time.

Call answer vibration does not work

Hello,
Sorry if this is already answered but i use that feature a lot and I need it.
In call settings you have that option to enable but after you enable it there is no difference.
Please help resolving that problem.
Cheers.
I am using an app called vibrate call pro, it doesn't need root access however adding a command through adb, the developer wrote the detailed steps in the play store description and it works flawlessly
Are you trying to tell me samsung S6 is a lot useless then S4 for example?
If you need to install third party software for function that should be available and working why buy that phone at all.

Google keyboard missing english

Hi,
On my old phone I always used to type with the Google Keyboard. Mostly switching between English and Dutch with the button next to the space bar.
Now, on my Honor 7, I don't have the option to select English when choosing languages.
I can only choose either "Use system language" OR one or more "Active input methods" but that last one does not include English.
Anybody with the same issue or a solution for this?
Related but not such a big issue. My layout should be azerty but is now qwerty.
Thanks in advance

Use swype keyboard, it's far better and you can set any language, even two of them.
Isn´t the original Huawei standard keyboard actually a Swype version?

Check thoroughly through all language settings, there is a ton of them and somewhere you have even Chinese as a second language preset. I adjusted all settings and I can select both languages as you can see on attached pictures.

I have got Honor 7 just couple of days ago but have already noticed that Google Keyboard is missing a lot of layouts, especially the one I really appreciated - Uzbek. I have had Galaxy S4 before and installed Google Keyboard from Play Store and it has much more layouts available.
Anyone knows if there is any way to uninstall preinstalled Google Keyboard from Honor 7 and reinstall it from Play Store?

You simply must root your phone, remove google keyboard from system (make sure to install a keyboard app before you do so) then reinstall it.
Or try updating the app if possible

LeVR Pro 1 with Le Max 2 not working.

I finally got my VR headset yesterday, but when I plug the phone in, it goes through the wizard for EUI VR but it kept telling me I'm not connected to the internet. I switched to just data mode as well and it kept telling me not connected. I don't have any firewall or anything to block EUI VR from connecting to the internet at all. Is it because I'm not located in china, and not connected to a chinese network to download the app through the wizard? I know LeEco have not enabled any VR for the US Market so could this be the reason?
If anyone have the LeVR Pro 1 headset and is in the US, or somehow get it to work please upload the apk needed for it. Thanks.

It works! Thanks neo. However, it seems to me like this VR is very limited to the built in VR app that it has. I cannot get other VR softwares/app to work for this particular headset because as soon as the phone is plugged in, the default vr app pops up. Even the official levr apk from vr.le.com do not work for this one. Any thoughts or tips of how to disable this default launcher for VR and use other app for it?
Glad I could help! I am using Chinese region for some advantages of software even though I am in Europe! Perfectly happy with stock ROM without root for now
Maybe go into settings options for default apps - Settings -> App management -> Default Apps ( lower left corner ).

What would setting default apps do? Wouldn't that defeat my goal because I don't want the default VR app to launch lol.... I'm on 21s leaked beta now.
I suggested you so that you could change the default VR app to some other app you want to use. I am on 18S stock. Guess this is as far as I can help you. Don't have LeVR kit nor 21S ROM.

This worked on Gear VR so it might work here,
Disable the app that is responsible for VR, the problem is i don't know which one it is maybe euivr?
Then you will be able to use cardboard apps but without imu
Edit: you will probably need to use this app to disable the vr service

I know that this is not concerning to the issue, but where you all guys have purchased your le vr pro at a good price?

MMS Issues

Hi,
I have a Redmi Note 4 with the latest ROM and it has no locale for Australia so I'm using the Singapore locale. I'm having issues sending and receiving MMS with 3rd party apps but not with the stock messaging app. I've seen comments that this is because the locale cannot be set to Australia. Can someone please confirm.
TIA
Greg
Hey, there sadly isn't any Australian locale but I made a quick google search and found this http://en.miui.com/thread-262496-1-1.html . I haven't really looked into it nor used it but you might find something useful or a solution in there

Thanks, will give it a try. Still not sure though if the locale is the reason 3rd party messaging apps have issues with MMS's.

Try using the default app and see if the problem still occurs. If it does you can always send a ticket to xiaomi to get direct support from them. You could also try asking on the official miui forums.

The issue is the stock MIUI message app does send and receive MMS's. It is just 3rd party messaging apps that have an issue with MMS. Someone mentioned on the Xiaomi forum that this was because the locale was not Australia.
BTW - The app you suggested only changes the language and not the locale.
Thanks,
Greg
