SMS Issues - Sprint Samsung Galaxy Note 3

I'm having issues with my Sprint Note 3. Was originally running CM on it when it stopped receiving or sending text messages. MMS, Data, and Phone Calls all worked correctly. At first I tried a Factory Reset and wiped the Dalvik/Cache. Unfortunately I still had the problem so I updated my recovery, and base band to install the fre3 ROM. Again no luck. Then tried to use the one click to go back to NC5 however this is freezing on me on my PC during the install. I ultimately flashed the NH7 base band and the NH7 stock TAR through ODIN.
About Device:
Software Version: N900PVPUDNH7
Baseband Version: N900PVPUDNH7
Kernel: 3.4.0-2593013
Build: KTU84P.N900PVPUDNH7
Any help to get SMS working again would be much appreciated.
Edit: Messages act as if they send and give a time stamp but they are never received.

So now you're on Stock NH7 and can't send SMS, correct? Which app are you trying to send SMS through (Stock app, Google's Messaging, Hangouts, etc?)?
Have you tried updating your profile/PRL?

Correct on Stock NH7. Having the SMS issue with the stock messaging app.

[Q] Im Stuck What do I do now?

Here is my story I've got a SGS2 GT-I9100 and I'm in the USA. This phone is un branded. I was using... Everything worked as it was the local cell provider setup.
GB 2.3.4
I9100UHKI1 Baseband
2.6.35.7-I9100UHKG7-CL417954 [email protected] #2 Kernel
Gingerbread.UHKG7
I installed ICS 4.0.3 XXLPB just to see what the excitement was about. Most everything worked except MMS messaging (send/RCV photos) SMS worked though. This is not a APN problem, Checked, double check and verified with provider. I was also getting FC's on deleting contacts from the address book. Because of the issues with ICS I wanted to return to GB 2.3.4. Since the phone was unrooted when I upgraded to ICS I was unable to create a backup on the SD card. With the Multiupload site down I'm unable to get back to the original build.
I've installed GB 2.3.4, UHKI1 Baseband, UHKI2 kernel, UHKI2 Build from the samfirmware site. Now neither SMS or MMS works, I get an error saying it failed and "message not sent" in the notification area. Not a APN problem either. I'm thinking it is a CSC problem?
So has anyone out there have a solution for me? Some combination of files to flash via Odin to get the phone working again? Mirror sites?
Sorry for being wordy, wanted to give you all the info up front to help you help me. I don't care what I end up with, stock or rooted as long as everything works.
(Fixed)
After a restore, I could receive SMS messages but sending SMS would fail. Under settings for the message application there is setting for Message Center number that was empty. After a lot of searches here and else where, I found anoutside link "Nexus-s fails to send SMS". I'd post the link if it could. This did not work for me may help others, more searching, found the SMSC number for my carrier, just a phone number, entering this into the spot provided worked, I can now send & receive SMS again. How did this happen? don't know, maybe one of the several kernels i tried or something I did corrupted it??
Off to do another backup now.
If you've got a nandroid backup just do a full wipe and restore the gingerbread backup you have. ICS is still quite buggy, a more stable build should be out in a couple of weeks or so.

what above said
or you could just try flash a custom kernel through odin so you get CWM then flash any custom rom to see if that fixes it

CM11, exchange email and radios

Brief background..
1. Stock SCH-i605.
2. Unlocked and rooted with VRAMC3.
3. Flashed the firmware update for I605VRUEMJ9 via Odin
4. Installed Bean's Stock DeOdex 4.3 ROM.
Phone had updated baseband and working smoothly. Exchange email working without issues upon testing. From here:
1. Booted back to recovery, factory reset
2. Installed the nightly CM11 build from 1/7
3. Installed gapps 4.4.2 modular package
Booted back up and things are running fairly smoothly, but.. two main issues:
1. Exchange email not syncing. Just continues to say "Waiting for sync Your email will appear shortly."
2. Radio strength is bad - looked for updated radio settings, and installed the following https://www.dropbox.com/s/akeq41pjwffkehe/MJ9ModemParams.zip and things have improved slightly, but still not where they were.

I've attempted with both TWRP 2.6.3.1 and the latest CWM.

I had the same issue with Exchange with a build around that time. I tried a newer one and it had been great ever since. I always use TWRP.
I can't say I have noticed any drastic change in signal strength. I'm on VRAMC3 as well.

question, how did you flash the deodex rom after flashing the 4.3 update via odin? doesn't the update lock the bootloader?
Not sure what fixed the issue, but I started again from scratch. Running latest nightlies since 1/13 with exchange now working. Wo0t!

I flashed Bean's firmware via odin. I haven't taken an OTA since VRAMC3. See this thread:

Text messages on 4.3

Ok so I've been ring to upgrade my wife's phone to a new 4.3 rom. Loving Jett rom so far however I'm having problems with the 4.3 tar file. I'm faltering all the steps to flash it in odin and the rom inrecovery. Every time it would boot up everything would work great except text messaging. Sometimes It would receive a text but it would never send. I wiped everything including a factory reset from the settings menu with no luck. Only fix is to odin back to 4.1. And do a factory reset.
I thought it might be the rom so I flashed a few with the same results. So I tried just flashing the firmware tar file to check and booted into stock rooted 4.1 and could not send a text message. So I narrowed it down to the firmware package. I've tried downloading multiple times from different sources each time and checked the md5 same thing no text. If anyone can help me figure this out I would appreciate it.
So its been a bit is there anyone who is having this problem or possible know where I might start to try and fix this problem?

Duxter Rom Issues

Hello all, I have installed the Duxter rom, among a few others, and on reboot I keep getting incorrect PUK code, and my 4G / call service is so bad that it goes out completely, even for areas I know the phone works. The cell phone just stops, and I have tons of errors receiving text messages. Here is my current setup. I also can't send or receive calls either.
Stuck in the ODIN boot loader now, "downloading" no matter what I do, I get into recovery / wipe / and nothing. It constantly goes back to the downloading. Any ideas? Appreciate any help.
Android V. 4.3
Based Version: I545VRUEMK2 - (ROOTED, SAFESTRAP)
Kernel Version: 4.4.0
Duxter Base V.23
Build: gDux v1.1 by gogolie
Any help would be appreciated.

Well if you're truly stuck in Download Mode seems that using an Odin file is your only option. Try a no wipe one first... If that doesn't fix it you'll need a full wipe

I don't believe your kernel version can be 4.4.0 can it? MK2 should be 3.4.0

[Q] Phone won't receive calls

So, here's the gist of it. I was running freeza's 2.25b when I noticed I stopped receiving calls. I noticed some other people in the thread saying they had the same issues, so I was waiting for freeza to address the issue. Apparently, I don't think it's from the rom.
So, when tiring of the issue, I odin flashed NH7. Same issue. So I odin flashed NH7, factory reset, flashed NH7 again, same issue. Wiped, flashed NH5, went to settings to look for update and updated to NH7 that way, and had the same issue. So, then I just tried flashed the NH7 baseband while still on NH5, and I'm still stuck without receiving. Lastly, I just flashed NH5, kept NH5 baseband, and I still don't receive calls.
I'm at a loss here for what to do next. Has anyone else had this problem? I tied my sprint number to a google voice account, if that matters at all. I can answer the calls on my tablet or computer, but they never come in on the phone.
Can anyone help me out with this issue?
Ugh, after all that time flashing. I ended up disabling my google voice account and I now receive calls.
