Hi all , hope everything is fine with everyone
Now , the usual story .. i've spent a whole night searching and trying to figure out how to boot my phone back up again .. but no use
i have a Samsung galaxy fit GT-S5670
Updated the phone firmware with kies .. latest update and was working great
Rooted the phone .. everything is fine
Played a little with terminal emulator .. everything is great
install rom manager , installed CLockworld image and i think i've got the phone model wrong .. anyway installed , everything is great ..
now just when i clicked Back up my current rom , i tapped ok then the phone is dead
took the battery out then back in , power on , nothing
did everything , tried to use odin downloader to install a stock firmware .. it just get stuck at step "setup connection" nothing happens !
tried everything possible ! i can't even get into recovery mode ! charged the phone ! everything i tried everything but no use ! phone is just dead !
now my question is .. is it really dead ? i can't fix it ? beside i have no warranty ! so is it dead and over ?
thanks for your time
up , anyone please ?

What he said....
I don't know 100% about samsung devices but if you can get into the bootloader or recovery you can save potentily save your phone but what most likely happened is that you put incompatible mods on your device and is causeing a bootloop or if your phone died in the process of installing system mods or roms it will have a incomplete rom and won't even bootloop

i have to agree with above
if u turned the phone off while installing = BAD
installed mod for wrong phone = BAD
you could of bricked it but if u can get into bootloader or recovery then there should be hope i know there is a 30% chance you can fix it if you can get into it on the HTC's but with samsung they dont lets say think of a plan b
I rooted the and deleted one of gapps. So, I tried flash and load rom for Alcatel 990 and now phone has bootloop (still displays "alcatel one touch")

2 years ago my alcatel OT-995 got bricked,
I could't even get into the Recovery Mode
(to check if you are able to do it, press PowerButton + VolumeUp and wait until the phone vibrates twice and gets you into Recovery Mode..
Mine would just vibrate once and it stucked on alcatel logo.)
I could find nothing online until I found by myself how to fix this yesterday!
1. First of all you need a full charged battery..
I couldn't charge it with the usb cable as usual because it would turn on and off automatically so the battery would never charge..
The solution to this problem is to get a 2 or 3 dollars universal battery charger from ebay.
You let the battery charge for an hour or 2 and put it back in the phone.
2. Download OneTouchUpgrade
google: "alcatel (your model) one touch upgrade download" and the first result should get you in the official download page.
(I am not allowed to post links)
Download it and nstall the OneTouchUpgrade
Don't open it yet
3. For Alcatel OT- 995:
Press PowerButton + VolumeUp
Release after first vibration
And press immediately VolumeDown until you get into Download mode.
For other models please google how to get in download mode.. but before you do it, follow the next step with your phone turned off as it is.. because it may work like that.. so you won't even have to get into Download mode.
4. Connect phone to pc with usb cable and wait until your pc installs automatically the usb drivers (if it's not already done)
Then open OneTouchUpgrade which you installed before and choose your phone model and press start.
It took me 10 hours for the whole process to get 100%.. So if it seems like it stucked DO NOT unplug the usb cable or stop the process in any other way.
Once completed Unplug the Usb cable and turn on the phone.. give it some time and it should take you to your homescreen
I hope this helps you too!
Hi everyone. I'm very disperate. My phone just got bricked ( I think ). I got bricked once but I unbricked it with odin and so on. In this evening, I throw my phone to the ground (No concret, just on my room carpet) and the battery just went out. I put back the battery but when I wanted to start the phone, it won't start. I press the start button but nothing. Then, I tried to enter in BIOS, but nothing. But, suprisely, the DOWNLOAD mode work and I tried to install the stock rom (I had a custom rom). It downloaded the rom in Odin, all worked perfet, till' it had to restart then, again, nothing. I'm disperate, my phone is DEAD? (

I did that. But, the problem is that when it restarts it won't turn on.
Use the repacked firmware.
Its like 's5830ixxla3_xxxx_xxxx_ato_repacked.zip'
It's the only one that worked for me when this happens

LOL
first things first, why would you throw your device to the ground just because it was bricked ?? (specially if you know the it can still be revived) .. my s5830i bricks almost all day because i've been experimenting with it,
ok here's what you atta do,
1. download Samsung Galaxy Ace GT-S5830i Stock ROM on the net
2. Download Odin 1.84 (for some reason latest version can't detect Ace-i even under Odin Mode)
**NOTE: type in GOOGLE Odin for S58630i, with that you will get the .pit file or something with it ( lazy me )
3. Now boot your Ace-i to Odin Mode (Vol Up + Vol Down + Power)
4. FLASH ROM.
EDIT: i uploaded Odin3 v1.84 so that you don't have to download it anymore, here's what you have to do
of course, download Stock ROM first
1. Run as Admin
2. locate .pit file [included in .zip file]
3. set proper files
MODEM = PHONE
CSC = CSC
PDA = PDA
4. Boot Ace-i to Odin / Download Mode [Vol Up + Vol Down + Power]
5. Press Volume Up
6. Flash
7. Wait patiently [it took seconds for me to flash Stock ROM]
8. Reboot Device
now you're good
Hit Thanks if i helped

Hi, I have the S7 since above 6 months, everything was perfect until one day it made a sound like brrrrrr and frezzed after some seconds it restarted, some time later again, some times with the noise and other times without it. Every time it restart its less the time it is running and if I don't turn off it, It turn on unthe SAMSUNG logo and restarts again and again.
I tried to solve this problem using SAMSUNG SWITCH, but it doen't solve it, so I downloaded some stock roms from sam mobile and tried them but none one of them funtioned, so a root my phone and I install a german rom herolte and it runs, but some It's still restarting some minutes after turn on, after that if i let the phone turnned off some hours when I turn on it funtions for more time.
I the app twrp, and bussy box and I'm trying to instal de recovery since twrp, but everytime it restarts before download ends.
I´m not sure about how to use twrp to repair my phone, but I want to try it or if you have another suggestion.
My phone doesn't have warranty, because the knox says void warranty 1 (0X0500).
I took my phone for a service center, but they could'nt repair it. So I don't know if there is a way to repair it or if I losse my phone for ever.
I can't give you all the phone especifications because I can't turn on to be able to see them.
I hope you to be able to understand my English, I'm a mexican girl.
Thank you.
