Greetings all Z7 users.
Has anyone else noticed a decrease in battery performance? When I first got the Z7 max it had the international ROM which was dreadful (lasted only a day without any use whatsoever). When I updated to 1.41 the battery would last close to 7 days with minimal usage. But now with minimal usage it only lasts 3.5 days.
On 1.41 en/cn rom I get about 2 days of normal usage (BT on all the time), 1 day of almost continuous mobile data during the day, and 4 days of standby, so I think that's ok?

+1 on this question. My battery is decreasing quickly. It can hold 2 days from the start but for now it's just almost 1.2 days

Ace battery is very big problem as its internal memory,my battery lasted only 1 days with min brightness, light wifi use,few days before flashed it with Gingerbread 2.3.3 and battery improved significantly and now it lasts 2 days with medium wifi use I'm really very happy now this.
Used samfirmware XXKP9

Hi guys
So far i tried almost all the ROMs available for 780 and what i found is no matter which i use the battery backup remains the same.
The noticeable difference is of and hour or so that's all.... same goes to RAM
usually its been advertised in ROM that plenty of RAM and longer battery life but i found all of them more or less same.
my score.
Battery - 60 hrs , wifi on , general use of whats app nothing else
RAM - around 450 MB free
Whats your score ? and which one is the best ROM considering those two criteria...
Do post your reply !!

No one counts maybe ?
Look mine !
ROW - JellyBean - Life v0.7 - 4 days - the phone was new!
ROW - JellyBean aka S124 - allmost 4 days - after 6 month
ROW - KitKat aka S226 - allmost 3 days - after 1 year and 1 month
CN - KitKat aka VIBEUI 2.0 - 2 and a half days after 1 year and 4 month
Remember that the accumulator weakens in time and Android apps become more energy hunger !

I found the MIUI the best in those two criteria. After 1 year of usage and plenty of Battery draining apps, atop of the system s228 which is lousy (i feel) when it comes to RAM management and battery, it would las t only for 1 day and then some. Using MIUI, it lasts for 2 whole days with WiFi and Whatsapp on!

I am an ex-mi4c user, i give up because of overheating issues and battery life. How is the battery life of this phone?
My girl got the Mi4c and I have the OPX.
The Mi4c has a bigger battery and a better battery life if you're on the good ROM.
What was running on yours?
The OPX, with custom kernel and tweakes is great for my usage too.
Edit : customs roms are variable now on Mi4c too. 1st Mokee release today

For me, avg SOT is 4:50 to 5:13 hrs.
(No graphic intensive games, mainly YouTube videos ,web surfing, G+ and games like chess, go, stack & color switch)
My sot is between 4 and 5 on OPX. But with 1Sim and 2 days of use.
I could be more on Mi4C
OMG! Kim K posted another selfie with tons of cleavage! Rate this thread to express how quickly apps launch on the honor 5X. A higher rating indicates that even the most intensive apps launch quickly and without hesitation, even if they are no longer in RAM.
Then, drop a comment if you have anything to add!
Good speed unless it is opened already. If it is 4th or 5th app in the recent apps, it reopens it again. i.e RAM management is not great
poor ram management
A bit slow
Not good
my phone will take some time to open any app, its almost an year with the phone and now its becoming too slow...

Flashing stock rom fixes it for a while
App launch speed is fast compared to other midrange phones.
Out of 10 scores, I will mark it 8/10 considering it`s price.

Yes it is. No issues in 10 months of usage.
App launch speed is a little slow. Maybe because I got used to the 6X speed.
its moderate
Good speed. No noticeable hangs.

Well that really depends on what I'm doing when the screens on. If I'm playing Mobile Legends about 4 hours, If I'm watching videos about 5.5 hours, if I'm just on here reading or replying to emails then 6-7 hours. Don't put too much stock into peoples sot because how they use it may not be anything like how you use it. With QC 3.0 you can go from 0-100% in an hour or 0-35% in 12 minutes.
Hi, went from Note 3 to this phone as well. If you worry about the battery life, at least compared to Note 3, don't. The processor is way more power efficient. Of course if you push it hard with games it eats up the battery fast. Medium to moderate use i get easily through a day with 30% percent left. The best thing maybe is the speed compared to the Note 3 lags (thanks Samsung). However there are many phones to consider. If you have a bit more budget i would also look the OnePlus 3T.
I was worried about the battery coming from a redmi note 3 which had a beast of a battery.
I never failed to get through a full day yet and the QC makes all the difference when you need a topup. Battery could be better but it is by no means bad.

Use small eui by iaureeel. Has best sot as far as I know, use it myself. Of course, never can be enough, but around 5hours is good for this phone
