All,
I wanted to let you know that I was able to install CM12 from the Note 12.2 on to the Tab pro last night.
Here is the link:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/gal...nt/rom-cyanogenmod-12-lollipop-5-0-1-t2971945
First off, just follow the instructions and it is smooth sailing. This rom is flawless, if there are bugs I sure can't find them. And again; EVERYTHING works.
If you try it, remember to thank Valera1978
Here are some screen shots.
Oh and obviously the s-pen doesn't work.
Do u believe thta if i change model number build prop it would still be stable enough to install on t900?

Dude, don't change anything. Back it up, wipe and flash. It works perfect. Took all of 10 minutes
How is flashing the P900 port directly different from this port of the P900 to the T900?

It will not work unless you also flash TWRP for v1awifi (P900), unless of course you have the incorrect one installed. However, there's a T900 modded version available in the general thread for the last few days.
FYI even the civz rom for Note pro P900 works fine on tab pro T900 without any modification. Just flash it via twrp
Also all spen functions works perfect. Running it for last 1 week without any issues.

All P900 ROM's based on stock, as well as kernels runs fine and no change of TWRP is needed. However, it is advised to change all occurrences of v1awifi to v2wifixx and P900 to T900 in \system\build.prop
Hello arcadia, i installed the lp cm u built, made a backup of stock rom before it (ANI1), DID NOT LIKE lp so did clean wipes again and restored earlier backed up rom, initially had fc,s all over and did a reboot to recovery and now fc's are gone but major problem now is that i cant open any pictures or videos, i can see them blacked out files but nothing is opening and when i take a screenshot it says unable to save as sdcard may be in use, this is with internal sdcard, can u help me if there is a fix for it, i can use tab and apps but everything stored before and now cant be accessed. Please point me to a fix.

make an advanced wipe /cache/dalvik cache/system/data/internal drive/
move your backups to external drive and start from there
I hope thing will work out for you
I backed up not the twrp folder but the folder which is named by the date and so i think is the reason i could not restore from external source, oh well found on sammobile a new firmware released in November and i flashed it and all is well now, now have to root it an do usual stuff.

Tab Pro 10.1?
Will it work on the Tab Pro 10.1 Wifi?
Just go to sammobile and search firmware for your model and then download it, not sure if 12.2 firmware works on 10.1, and also look for cf autoroot homepage and find ur model.

You will not able to boot, as there are more problems than you can imagine; a lot of the drivers differ between the two devices. However, the original port for the ROM was crpalmer's 10.1 wifi | T520, why there is no need to try re-inventing anything.
I know this is going to sound stupid, but my first foray into modding tablets. Have done many phones, currently on the note 4. with FireKat ROM
My question is, should I put this rom on my Tab Pro 12.2 will this also provide me with the ability to use the Stylus from my Note 4 on it? I am thinking it probably will not but decided it wouldnt hurt to ask. Thanks in advance for any replies

This thread is no longer active. Please consult chhaggerty's CM-12 ROM
There's no true stylus support for the T-900, the screen is not adapted for that type of sensitivity. However, you can still use the stylus, even though it will not be a perfect design or handwriting, for that you vill need the P-900 (Note Pro 12.2).

Hello N7105 owners,
DISCLAIMER:
By reading this post, downloading any of the links, or acting on it in anyway you accept full responsibility for the outcome. I strongly suggest you do not download this ROM but that's just my opinion.
What this is:
This is EE's (UK operator)(formally Orange & T-Mobile) stock ROM for the GT-N7105 or Galaxy Note 2 LTE International - N7105XXXALIJ
Stock Kernel
Rooted
Busybox
Fully deodexed
Zip aligned
Some bloatware removed. (Light version)
What you would need:
Custom recovery (CWM) <-- See other threads for the how-to I might post a link later.
What you would do:
Download .zip
While waiting... it's big (sorry) ... do a nandroid <-- Google it.
Put .zip onto external SD Card (internal would be fine too but I think if you full wiped it'd get deleted and your panties would twist)
Flash .zip
Wait... remember it's big (sorry)
Wipe Cache
Wipe Dalvik Cache
Reboot
Enjoy
What else you would want to do:
Flash a different Kernel - there's only one floating around for now.
Use a storage data swap - two options
Use performance scripts, see around there are lots and they'll work best with a different kernel with init.d support - there is a thread with an how-to for getting support with any kernel/ROM and I tried it but failed. I didn't try hard.
Wipe Data - this shouldn't be necessary as your phone will already be on a stock ROM.
What I would like you to do:
Make themes and I'll link them in post 2
Tell me what default apps you want back or what taken away.
Post links to other stock ROMs you'd like made more convenient (that's all this is btw because it's no different than rooting etc yourself after the fact).
Talk about N7105 development - we all want proper Dev support and built from source roms.
What I don't want you to do:
Expect anything from me.
Flash this thinking it's something special, or that I'm a dev, or think that this is counts as actual development.

Tbh until there's been some discussion about what should be in and what should be out the light version is not recommended. There's literally too many apps and too many Samsung goodies to know whats right to remove.
The once we agree on the best minimum apps for a base, I'll just use that for updates and the other apps can come in a range flashable packages.
For now the recommended way to debloat is just use titanium backup.

Those few who have downloaded the Light version, how is it? Did it boot? I remove anything that needs putting back in? Is there anything still there you would consider bloat?
Is the bloated version deodexed, zip aligned etc?
Yes. The only difference is a number of system apps are removed in the light version.

Support 7105 rom
Should have ALJ4 uploaded tomorrow.
Edit:
Dang the re branding broke s note. Can't fix until tomorrow. Probably just need to push a different s note app (has someone optimised that awful app yet?)
It's uploading anyway if it doesn't fail I'll post link but flashing it without at least removing the s note app will result in infinite FCs. It's otherwise untested.

Cassie's XtraLiteRom for the Samsung Galaxy Mega LTE I9205
Based On Stock Slovenia MG7 Rom
History
I moved to the Galaxy Mega from the Samsung Galaxy Note and had produced one of the longest running roms for that phone, so now i pay my attention to the Galaxy Mega devices.
Its currently early days for this device and roms, as of 21st July we still have issues with CWM, Root, amongst other things so its back to the drawing board
Those who knew my later edition roms know that they came with Aroma Installer, alas this is another area thats not playing ball at the moment so ive gone back to the good ole days of producing a slim rom with removed app updates zips. Dont worry as development progresses the old style install will come back

5) Select Install Rom in CWM Main Screen
6) Select The file you copied over and click Yes
7) The installer WILL throw an error at the end but dont worry its all fine
8) When you click reboot now it may give you another warning about loosing root and it will ask you if you want to fix it - CLICK YES
9) First boot will be a while
Known Issues
A) Not an issue so to speak but certain menu items will cause a crash if you have not installed the additional apps, i.e faceunlock, or help file etc not a bug just the benefits of slim rom, but you probably wont come across it, Video player has odd dependancies
Tips and Tricks
1) Give yourself Developer Mode - Click Build Properties in about device until it tells you success
2) Turn animations to .5x instead of x1
3) Folder Mount works perfectly if you have it backedup when you open just pin the apps (after you install them before you open them)
4) Turn wifi on off at set times, Goto settings > Wifi > Advanced> set time

One thing I pride myself on is my n7000 thread never turned into a flame war.
We were all new to this and needes help on the way.
I always flash my builds every which way I can as to reduce any risk.
All I ask is that you read and follow instructions before asking a question. However I will always answer where possible and I ask users of this rom to assist each other.
I appreciate english is not everyones first language an I ask you all to understand that when assisting people. People should always search first but we shall not flame anyone who does not
So please all play nice and enjoy yourselves

thering1975 In the local forum i participate in some people flashed I9205 based rom onto their I9200 devices, taking the modem file (NON-HLOS.bin) out of the firmaware, an this worked fine. As an option it's also possible to remove the kernel and recovery from the firmware and in this case you won't get the two red lines after flashing. I guess your rom can be flashed to the i9200 in this way also?

For the moment the modem is removed as ia the kernel.
No recovery is included as no cuatom kernel or cwm is done yet.
As for will it work on i9200 I cant say in theory I cant see why not as long as the partition table matches but alas im not going to recommend it so try at your risk.

Congratulations! This is officially the first custom ROM for the Galaxy Mega 6.3. I'm sure this will be the best ROM just like with my original Note. Hopefully the issues with CWM and root will be ironed out soon. I am not bothered with AROMA as long as I get the slimmest ROM possible with rock solid stability. All the extras can be put in a separate file for those who want them.
So with Foldermount, is this correct?
* Do a backup of the mounts in the app
* No need to put the data back into phone storage
* After installing custom ROM, install apps that use foldermount
* Before opening the apps, restore foldermount data
Is the default phone storage bigger in this ROM? Thanks for all the hard work

I see, I just need to back everything using Titanium backup and restore them like usual. I deleted most bloatware manually and currently I get almost 900MB RAM free. The only Samsung app I use is the Watch On to use the remote control function of the Mega. Keep up the excellent work :highfive:
Use tb sparingly it can be a pain I restore data only.
Foldrrmount has its own backup in its settings I think. The app data is on your sd card so once pinned all good

So does this mean that all international ROMs should work with our device? Pretty sure the hardware is identical (although I might be wrong - correct me if I am) so I see no reason why they wouldn't. Would love some insight from someone with more knowledge, however.

Yes I am currently running the Omega v1.3 rom
I am running it and it works Absolutely perfectly! If anyone is also having a problem with Shealth working after installing Xposed it seems to fix it. Just a few warning thought that I thought I would post.
1) After flashing it will flash all your internal storage - Backup everything first, Also I would move the zip to an external Sdcard before flashing.
2) Even if you select no wipe in aroma while upgrading, it still seems to wipe everything including your internal storage.

Yeah, I was thinking about trying to get permissions of a few international roms to try and alter the upater script and edit a few things to make them more compatible with the us roms.
There are several INT'L ROMs that work great with TMO USA S5.

Sent from my SM-G900T using Tapatalk
I have flashed EVERY ROM that has been posted on the International S5 threads and they all work with the TMOBILE S5
Alliance Rom is phenomenal - Omega is great - so is Echo - The only thing yoiu have to get used to is that you lose WiFi calling. I am using a TMOBILE S5 on the ATT network so it doesn't matter to me anyway - ATT doesn't support WiFi calling - but to be honest, the benefits of flahsing these roms far outweighs the benefits of Wifi Calling. (IMHO anyway)
NO special steps are needed - EXCEPT - when you flash an International ROM be prepared - they do usually wipe the Internal SD card. So make a back up of the important files (like Titanium Backup for example)
while we wait for TMO development to get underway - at least you have a few very good roms you can play with.
Good luck and happy flashing!
Hey guys, just posted the first (very basic) version of my project infinity Rom in the development forum. It is based on the t mobile framework, not international, so has WiFi calling etc. I plan to update it quite a bit. Also, it doesn't wipe the SD card upon install.

Any plans to get flash working?
I am downloading the ROM, so far it looks good and I did not want to lose the wi-fi calling options so I've held off on the other ROMs so far.

Before I flashed the zip I did full wipe including data/dalvik cache/system..My ROM.zip was on external sd...after few seconds it said successful..and when I tried to reboot it says no Os installed
I also tried with different recovery which is cmw v6.0.2.8
Getting symslink error
Man I would love to try this ROM. Just tried latest carbon ROM with the double2wake feature and it is awesome. Related to lg g2 feature.

Hello,
I will try porting the rom using another base but I don't have enough time as I've got exams coming up and I have to study for them.I may start working on the update in mid October.
I have fixed the symlinking problwm but the rom is still not bootable, what do you think is more stable and has less bugs cm10 or cm10.1, if cm10.1's the answer I may try porting the s2 plus 4.2.2 rom and it is probable that it may be bootable or at least get to the bootanimation.
Thanks
UPDATE:I tried porting other roms on different android versions
4.1.2:s2 i9100: different build:still got the symlinking error for some reason after various attempts
4.2.2:s2 plus i9105: got a set_perm error, took a look at the log says that some files are not present even though they are
4.4.4:s3 i9305 version:apparantly I'm getting an error that it can't partition a non mk... device
I'm not giving up, I'm still going to try other bases to see if I can't get one to install and boot successfully.

It seems that this project isn't making any progress, so I may try making my touchwiz fusion rom for the player(obviously there would be improvements) that is if any user would like it to happen.
Here's a link to the rom,
http://forum.xda-developers.com/gal...atives/rom-touchwiz-resurrection-rom-t2491822
the build for the galaxy player would probably have a better themed system ui,recent apps and framework
The s5 recent apps is complete, I tried adding tw recent app buttons, the buttons worked but the clear all button was higher than the others for some weird reason, I tried changing the height but that didn't work, I can leave the task manager button or the clear all one if anyone wants,I have attached a photo below showing the recent apps panel and the case the buttons are in, so if you want the task manager button or clear all button then tell me which one you want to keep or if you don't want anyone, button background will be changed to the s5 one later(that is if anyone wants it).
Photo is from my s2 but will be the same on the player

No, it's actually a cm11 rom modded to look like touchwiz in the galaxy s2,since I made the rom for the s2, I can apply the same mods to the system apks for the most stable kitkat 4.4 build I can find.So it'll be like the s2 version of the rom but with some improvements.

No don't download the rom, it is developed specifically for the galaxy s2, I'll make a version for the player 5.0 soon, but I said that it's easier to make this rom for the player 5.0 than porting a touchwiz rom.

I'm dropping this in here for people to use as a base, I don't intend to support it but will add any fixes that people upload. It's a stock 4.4.4 twizz base with qmg support for note 4 apps. It's stable and everything seems to work but there are issues with the spen as I have only added spen libs and there are no spen options in settings, you can probably just drop n2 settings in but I haven't tried too busy working with the eteam.
Its a port of the s3 lte 4.4.4 official stock from here:
[I9300] [Touchwiz Android 4.4.4]
It works with both agni and devil kernel but devil is included. Please feel free to use it but it would be nice if credit was given as not being a developer I spent a lot of time on it.
I would like to thank @bsbachert and @Bajanman for their help

Thanks a lot, I downloaded the rom to my pc this afternoon from the very first link and now it's on my sdcard waiting for a test
I saw there should be some issues with spen detach sounds, but inside /system/media/audio/ui I seem to see no pen sounds, so I have just put them there by myself... Just a try before flashing.
I am looking forward to testing the new look and I will report my experience, though I suppose Dn3 4.4.2 will still be my daily rom for a while.
We're working with the eteam to port the n4 stuff, well they're porting it we're just getting it to work on our device. So hopefully we'll get a 4.4.4 base for dn3
I'll hold on to this spot...[emoji13]

I had trouble with settings constantly force closing so I couldn't complete setup.
Downloading now
I couldn't get it to boot on Philz or twrp
I got it to boot using the newest TWRP but couldn't get it beyond initial setup. Settings kept force closing on me.
I may try some amateur editing with this but I have far less experience than most anybody.
Thanks for posting this, Saw Doctor!

When I tried on philz it said to update to the newest binary then rebooted and when i tried to flash it in trwp it said to os was installed
I did the same thing! Did a full wipe, flashed with TWRP and after flash I went to reboot and it said no OS installed. So I just flashed again dirty and it installed and booted fine into set-up! During set up the screen froze and just pulled battery and rebooted to continue setup! After setup I got a few more screen freezes and just pulled battery and it was fine after it settled for a while:thumbup: Seemed very smooth and fast. I had to restore back cause I didnt have much time to test, but will redownload and report back
Great base @sawdoctor! Thanks for your hard work and i hope you and e team come up with somthing sick! Cause DN5v2.2 is frickin awesome and has been my daily driver for a while now and rock solid

Thanks, I had no issues with the base I uploaded and neither did @Bajanman. I'll re upload another copy later incase it's a bad upload as I'd fixed all the fc issues. Just having issues with my own phone atm think my pit file is corrupt but then I don't think flashing as many zips as i have is ever going to do the phone any good

I can only tell you what I know, the eteam are concentrating thier efforts on updating dn3 to a 4.4.4 base and porting n4 features. It's not really my place to say what they have working and what they don't but I believe they have a stable base. I know what we have working on the n7105 and it is promising but there are a lot of bugs to iron out. The base I dropped I was using as a daily driver it's that stable
Just to share my experience:
- N7105, 4.1.2 booloader;
- all wipes but internal sd;
- with TWRP 2.6.31 (the one modified for 4.4.4) I got "no OS installed" so as other users have already reported;
- with the latest cwm, I was able to flash and get the rom booted, but I could not go beyond settings.
I have had neither the time to try any solution, nor to use adb for a log, because my backup to the extsd was corrupted and I was compelled to using odin with a rather damaged usb cable and it was very late (so I am now back to 4.1.2 and tbh battery life was really good) but I think that the issues could be related to the old bootloader, as I could see a very short lasting popup message referring to wifisettings.
Anyway, the rom boots even with the first shift kernel.
I will try again tonight and post a log, if adb and the usb cable are my friends
I will also try a dirty flash over 4.1.2, just to see what happens.
I have had the same results but dirty flashed a second time to get the rom to boot (but again, couldn't get beyond initial setup with settings force closes after a quick flash of wifi settings). I am on the AT&T NE5 4.4.2 bootloader for the SGH-I317 so I don't think it is exactly bootloader related.
Dirty flashing on top of a 4.1.2 build works flawlessly. Everything seems to work pretty nice, since I could skip settings, but the spen works only as a pointer and with the keyboard, while I cannot activate neither air command, nor use the pen to air scroll.
And in settings it is shown as 4.4.2, instead of 4.4.4, but it must be a typo.
I changed the SecSettings.apk and SecSettingsProvider.apk and got it to setup. But when trying to access settings after it setup would FC. Didnt really test it out because of that..
Here's a few screenshots..

You might need to update your recovery or reboot back into recovery after a wipe.
I used TWRP 2.8.0.1 and had no issues. Also, im using Tmo T889 with 4.1.2 Bootloader.
