[Q] Help needed! Bricked HTC Max One T6UL PVT - HTC One Max

So I was trying to be clever, trying to root my phone not really knowing the risks that I was taking.
I have ended up bricking my phone (HTC One Max T6UL PTV SHIP S-ON RH) I am not sure if this is correct or not but that is the information shown at the top just under ** Tampered ***.
I have tried many roms from this site but cannot seem to find the correct one. My problem seemed to start happening when I updated to unsecure kernal and tried rum runner. After that it bricked :/
I would really appreciate someones guidance in trying to restore my phone to a usable state, custom or stock. I have tried searching for RUU's but I am not even sure if there is one available.
In the anticipation of getting a RUU I relocked the bootloader.
HELP! :/
For anyone that can help me resolve this I will look to provide a cash reward

You aren't bricked. You can unlock that boot loader again using the same unlock token. Once unlocked flash twrp and a custom Rom to get your phone back in working order.

[Q] Recommendations for returning to stock (s-on, unroot)

Just bought a used DNA that is already rooted and has S-Off. I'd like to return it to 100% stock so I know exactly what's running on the device and have a baseline for future changes. Plus I like to go through the rooting/unlocking process myself so I am familiar with how it works. Got a couple questions:
1. Am I wasting my time (and risking bricking) by unrooting & locking only to unlock it again? I've SBF'ed moto devices and ODIN'ed samsung devices without issue, is the HTC RUU process as safe and simple? Otherwise, is there a better way to get the device back to 100% stock other than keeping root/s-off?
2. If I end up going through with the above, I plan on using Phaded's Guide. However, I don't know how the device was originally unlocking...am I safe following the Facepalm/JTag process? Is there a way to tell what method was used?
3. Can I do this process without a SIM? I need to go a Verizon store to trade my SIM card for a microSIM and want to have the device back at stock for when I activate it with the new card.
Thanks
Boot into fastboot...
What does it say? Everything...
Edit: sorry, misunderstood your post. Device will be here tomorrow but this is from a screenshot in the sale listing

Sorry I realize this kind of question is probably asked a bunch. I guess my main point was wondering if my best route to guarantee stock rom/firmware/etc is through this process, or if I can do it all manually. I searched and found links for radios and bootloaders and some other stuff, but no real guide for getting back to stock other than the one I mentioned.

Oh, I thought he meant "what does it say? everything" in reference to just read what the guide says and follow it.
Device won't be here until tomorrow, was just looking to get my game plan together now so I can start right away when I get it. Updated my above post.
It looks ready for flashing. Can't see any good reason to return to stock rooted s-on just to redo the entire unlocking process.

Thanks. Do I need to latest radio? Looks like the 2.06.605.1 radio version is 1.01.04.0308 from what I've found.
Yeah just confirm the device is indeed s-off then flash the radio through bootloader.

Looks like your already s-off..
If you needed to return to stock, the face palm method of rts will work
Thanks for the input guys. It seemed the previous owner never took any OTA's and just flashed new roms, so I ended up just completely returning to stock (facepalm method worked great), took 3 OTA's, and used moonshine to gain root/s-off again. Now I know exactly what I'm running and what changes have been made.

[Q] HELP! Restoring my HTC ONE

Hello all!
First of all, I think this website is awesome, lots of usefull stuff and information, you guys doing a great job. By guides on this site I was able to unlock my phone, root it and install all kinds of different ROMS. With those guides it was very easy! However now I seem to stupid to restore my HTC ONE (TMO-101) back to stock. What I exactly want? Just completly restore it to default. After hours of doing and reading stuff, I just gave up. I think I made it even worse as before. I used and restored an backup (old one) from original state. But! I cannot update with the OTA pushed. Seems I first have to put back the original recovery and unroot the device. I thought that an RUU would be the solution, however I cannot find any for my version or in other words one that actually works for me! Then I thought ok lets try the backups made by someone else and restore those, recovery tool is not working anymore... If you could provide me with the correct steps and tools to perform this, I would be very thankfull! Because I'm totally lost....
My HTC ONE current state:
***TAMPERED***
***RELOCKED***
***SECURITY WARNING***
M7_UL PVT SHIP S-ON RH
HBOOT 1.44
Android version 4.1.2
* Used Clockmod recovery before but it does not seem to work anymore, so basically no recovery atm.
Thanks in advance for looking in to my issue!

I was in the same boat as you last night, I thought I bricked my phone, but thanks to this post, I was able to do it. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2496074
First you have to relock your bootloader, it's quite easy. Go to your fastboot folder on your computer (the same one you used to unlock your phone) open command prompt there (Shift + right click) then type fastboot oem lock then run that RUU that I posted and it will restore you to 100% stock, like you just took it out of the box.
Thanks!!
Gonna try this right away:good:
It's not working. Model-ID error (130). Had this one before, it's the US version. But, I got the TMO101 (DE). This is the model also sold in the Netherlands.......
Any RUU available for this as well? Couldn't find it or
Other options?
Thanks!

[Q] m7 tampered and relocked

hello everyone!
new guy here... i have searched, but I don't know exactly where to start with this phone.
basically, my friend bought this phone, and wanted to install some fancy schmancy app, that i guess required it to be rooted? he did something to the phone, don't know what, he doesnt know either.. he just followed directions he found online. it worked, for about 6 months, until all of a sudden it kept rebooting constantly. he needed a phone right away so he bought a moto X, and gave me this phone bc its useless to him.
now I have it, and am trying to recover some info for him off it (some notes and email addresses), and then I would like to make it into a international version, so I can use it on my travels to Europe this summer.
its currently on the fastboot screen, and it says:
***tampered****
***relocked****
m7_UL PVT SHIP S-ON RH
HBOOT - 1.55.0000
RADIO 4T.20.3218.13
OpenDSP v. 31.120.274.0617
OS-3.17.502.3
i have a tmobile HTC One myself, but have never rooted or messed with one, i would start from 0. i searched, but I got a bit confused, so I just wanted to see if I can save this phone. thank you all!
So I'm thinking that your friend went through the process of rooting his phone by the usual way...
Unlock bootloader > install custom recovery > flash a super user tool.
Seems like he wanted to return the phone to "stock" but instead of doing the process in reverse just simply relocked the bootloader. Which is probably why it's boot looping now, doubt it just started happening all of a sudden.
If you want to put an international Rom on the phone I suggest just unlocking the boot loader again. Though be warned unlocking the boot loader wipes the phones data so your not going to be able to recover your friends data.
There are plenty of guides in the HTC One forums on how to unlock the boot loader.
In order to do it your going to need the unlock code for the phone, which your friend must have received from htcdev.com you'll have to get it from him.

Sorry it took so long, but I finally managed to make something happen.
I followed your advice, and unlocked bootloader. After I did that, the phone tried to restart and after the HTC logo, the screen just goes black, and stays like that. I can see the screen is on though. I can restart it, by using power + vol down button, which makes the back and home buttons flash when I press those buttons.
is that what should happen?
wait nevermind.... i wasnt pressing the right button, so I wasn't going into the boot loader. slowly figuring it out... haha
opinion
in this cases be carefull avoid brick your HTC ONE unloke bootloader again an follor straight instructions and everithing should go otherwise
alright so I have a question for you guys...
the phone was an AT&T Phone... if i flash a Tmobile rom on it, and unlock the SIM, could I take advantage of 4G here in the US? I want to use it in Europe this summer, but now my wife wants to use it as her daily...
basically where im at now, as of a few days ago, i unlocked bootloader, installer TWRP, now trying to figure out what to do next... slowly learning the ways of rooting here.. you guys are of great help!

If you're on a stock rom, you could go to att website, then click on your phone and choose sim unlock. I believe it is an 8 digit code. For the 4g part, I don't know for sure but I don't see why it wouldn't work.

Hi there, I attempted to unroot and go back to stock after encountering tiny bugs while using my HTC One M7 but I ran into some problems..
this is exactly what my htc one says on the bootloader:
"Tampered
Relocked
M7_UL PVT SHIP S-ON RH
HBOOT-1.55.0000"
How do I go back to stock from where I am?
I would really appreciate any help, the camera started showing that common purple haziness a lot of people have seen and I really want to send my phone in for repair... and the warranty expires on June 23rd 2014.

Does your phone work / bootup?
if so just copy this rom to the phone and reboot to recovery and choose install
find the file and flash it ... choose to do a full wipe in Aroma if you want a fresh start on the new sense 6

[Q] No OS, no recovery and (S-On)

I have the International HTC One Max, first of all I tried to root it and I did it right after a while I tried to set a finger print and it doesn't work I googled it then I realize that "S" should be (S-off) so I can re-lock the bootloader, I tried to do it with "Revone" Failed, then I tried Rumrunner and at last stage It told me that I have to change my kernel I did and the phone was ok just on restart and I stacked with red triangle with "!" . I wiped the phone clean didn't work, Right now i can't go forward and i can't go backwards.
the Boot-loader is Unlocked, S is on (S-On), i have no Os and no Recovery. its the perfect trap. Please what do i do.

[Q] How to S-Off on HTC One M7, HBOOT-1.61

Hi,
I have a HTC ONE M7 purchased from T-Mobile. I rooted it and have CyanogenMod installed in it. Recently, I switched to different carrier. Now, my phone rejects foreign sim card and asks for Network SIM card lock. The unlock code provided by T-Mobile doesn't work due to rooting the phone.
I want to go back to T-Mobile Android stock ROM and try the unlock code. What's the process for it? Here are some details from bootloader screen:
*** TAMPERED ***
*** UNLOCKED ***
M7_UL PVT SHIP S-ON RH
HBOOT-1.61.0000

Apart from help in doing S-OFF, I would appreciate if someone points me to right link for going back to Stock ROM.
same question here, I would like to s-off my device but I'm not sure if it's possible on hboot 1.61 or not...
also have htc m7 needing help

I don't understand why you are posting on this thread. It has nothing to do with what you need. There's tons of info on how to restore your phone in the forum for your phone. It is specific to the carrier or region that you got the phone from as well. Basic guideline is that if you just want to return to stock unrooted then you will have to relock the bootloader and flash a RUU (Rom Update Utility) that corresponds to the specific variant of the M7 you have and must be the same update or newer. If you aren't sure, then just pick the newest one. If you want to use custom roms, then you will have to download one that will work for your variant, use adb to push the file from your PC to the phone, then use TWRP to install. Since you are S-On, you will need to use fastboot to flash the boot.img from the rom zip you downloaded.
Sorry
I was posting on here because i thought this was where i get help sorry if it is wrong place but i am not wanting to know how to simply reset the phone i know how to do that i am trying to figure out why it says no os installed and when i do any type of restore it goes too th twrp menu comes up and my friend said was working fine b4 son hard reset it so if you can tell right place to get help i will go there and not bother anyone here again and also it says i am S-off so that isn't problem
