What should I pay for a MediaPad 10 Link - Huawei MediaPad, T-Mobile SpringBoard

There is a campaign on here in Sweden where I can get the old MediaPad Link for 130 usd.
Is it worth that kind of money or should I keep on looking?

I have an FHD10, and only use it as a stationary display = to heavy to hold for longer periods.
I would not pay $130 for it anymore. Definitely not for the lesser link.
With all the new models you should pick up a Sony Xperia Tablet Z (the original) for not much more. In Germany around €230.

[Q]-[EU] Is the HTC Flyer still a good buy ?

Hi everyone !
I am planning to buy a 7" tablet on this beginning on 2012 (HNY).
My usage for a 7" will be essentially Internet, GPS, and some Games.
Now that it has Honeycomb, i am preferring the HTC Flyer over the Acer Iconia Tab A100,
Cause the Flyer got a better design, better screen, and moar storage (despite the fact that the Acer is more powerful with the Tegra 2).
The prices for the HTC Flyer here in France are 299€ for the 16GB WIFI Only and 380-400€ for the 32GB WIFI+3G.
So my questions are :
_ Does the Flyer worth that money ?
_ Will the Flyer become obsolete soon cause of it's Single Core CPU or it stills have good time to live ?
_ Does it worth to wait for the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus which is more expansive than the Flyer ?
Thank you for your answers
I am in India and a bought 3g+WiFi model for $400 ( euro 300 ) with scribe pen. In us also it was sold dirt cheap recently at bestbuy. The price in your country seems to a bit high.
Though its a very good tablet, I would say look for it for about at euro 300 for a 3g version. Then you can't go wrong.

1. around the same price as in australia...i had a wifi only tablet and it turned out to be pretty useless to me, so i 'upgraded' my 10" transformer to the 7" flyer...if you can afford the 3G version, get it
2. best purchase ever...i love it
3. all devices are obsolete within 6 months of being released
4. lol @ samsung...noooo comparison between HTC and samsung devices, i don't care what the specs say! and do you mean expAnsive, as in better, or expEnsive, as in it costs more? (doesn't matter really, my answer is still the same)

That's pricing for you in Europe, we always pay more than the rest of the world (except Australia...)
And €300 for a 3G version, I think you'd have to look second-hand, and even then I think it'll be difficult.
For the OP: I have a 16GB Wifi-only. And I was also first thinking about the Acer, but they took too long to come to market here. In the end, I just couldn't wait and shelved out a bit more (I paid a total of around €350, and that included two silicon protectors, a folder case, a screenprotector and a car charger) and I've been very happy ever since. Even with GB (which, I must admit, now that I have HC, I still like better... But for the pen-support in HC, I'd go back).
Edit:
oh and about 3G vs wifi-only: 3G is no use to me, as I don't want to pay premium for a 3G subscription or data-plan... I like my very cheap call/text subscription...

Upgrading

Hi just wondering if the s3 is worth the upgrade fee of £250 from my s2 or just wait till December and get it for free
Sent from my GT-I9100 using Xparent Green Tapatalk 2
Depends on your pay grade and what you are missing on the S2.
If you make enough money and actually need those:
- bigger screen
- very fast CPU/GPU combination
- notification LED
- very fast camera
Then yes, I'd say it's worth it. If you "only" need a bigger screen you might want to wait for Note2.
Are you sure you'll get it for free? At least with the usual ~50Euro/month 2year-contracts around here it costs ~110 Euro setup fee additionally to any early-upgrade cost.

IMHO, if I had a SG2 with Ice Cream Sandwich I would not pay £250 just for 6 months of the GS3.
Enjoy your GS2 till Xmas .
How long left on your contact? how, much monthly do you pay?
Trade in your s2 for 190 odd, buy out contract... Get s3 on new contract?
Is what i did.
With orange with dolphin 40 plus 5 discount with p4u on release of s2.... Done a best plan review couple of months back after 12 months, reduced mins and data to 25 a month...
total contract to buy out was 230... Bartered with p4u so they would pay the 40 quid aswell as take my sgs2, s3 on two year contract on same 25 tariff.
If s2 is in very good condition (mines was quite poor, dropped a good few times and no screen protector) then can sell privately for 250 odd..
didnt really need the upgrade s2 is damn fine phone still, but as didn't cost me anything and didn't increase monthly payments, and last phone was showing a bit of wear... Was a no brainer
Battery is a lot nicer though but i didn't really mind charging daily...camera is nicer to use... Web pages view a bit better and smoother and with a bit more real estate... apart from that is pretty much same experience for me
Sell the s2 and get the s3. Easy choice

Nexus 10 USA vers in UK - OK to buy?

Hi all, I have the opportunity to buy a nexus 10 32gb for £300 its a refurb but says it comes with warranty.
However when looking into it, including calling samsung uk - they do not give warranty to the device in the uk but would if I sent it to the US (I'd prefer not to of course).
I haven't checked google, but it seems that they won't cover it either from their t&cs.
So in reality is it worth getting it for £300 or should I spent £20 more to get the 16GB version?
The GB isn't a big factor, but £300 for the 32gb is pretty good and they are pretty much open box returns - so brand new.
What do you guys think? Do these often have hardware issues which require returns?
even 32gb its not enough ...

I had the same dilemma when buying mine in the UK. I was told by Google support that the US warranty was only valid in the US and the only way it could be repaired under warranty if something went wrong was to ship it to a US address and then contact Google in the US!
Eventually I just bought the UK version. It's going to less problematic in the long run and easier to sell when the time comes.
Also, there's a fairly good chance that you'll have the pleasure of paying duty and Vat when the tablet arrives. This will add another 26% or so to the cost!

In Germany: LG G4 and Nexus 6 cheaper than OP2 after shipping

So I got my invite while at work, and was excited to get home and order my phone. I log into my account, put in the invite code, and go to the store. I see there that the OP2 is 399 euros, that's substantially more than $389 in the US. Then standard shipping is 20 euros! Not only is this 15 euros more than the 5 euro I paid for my OPO to be shipped a year ago (and trust me, shipping prices in Germany haven't gone up 300%), but it increase the price of the phone to 419 euro total. This makes the phone more expensive than the LG G4 and Nexus 6 in Germany. So I bought a G4 instead for 409 euro. And that includes shipping! If anyone wants either of those other phones, you can send me a private message, and I'll send you a referal link to get either phone for 399euro.
Why am I posting this? I loved my OPO and really like what this company is trying to do. However, this phone isn't everything I hoped it would be, and for some people (me included), one of the other two may be a better choice. Plus, you don't have to wait for an invite
Then have fun with a device who have laggs after some times and have the badder snapdragon 808 and only 3gb ram. Lol

In thailand
price
G4 > ( Nexus6-32GB = OPT )
same here too expensive...that's why I bought the Asus Zenfone 2.
Oneplus two is no longer an affordable phone is just another high end phone with a decent price. The Moto X is 400 (16gb) and 500 for 64gb the oneplus two with shipping was 415 usd and you can find the G4 for 420 and the ASUS for 300.00 at this point is not about so much about price but more about what you like and preference. Me personally I rather have a phone no one has and having swap covers makes it even better for me one reason why I waited for an invite.
Same for me in Switzerland after conversion of Euro to Swiss Francs (total of 480 Swiss Francs for Oneplus 2 versus 449 CHF for LG G4 32 Gb version), but for me the Oneplus 2 is better in almost every aspect.
I was thinking exactly the same thing! How is the G4? I'm thinking about getting it.

I don't have any lag on my G4. And for now 3gb of ram is more than enough.
Also I'd rather have the 808 vs 810 since the 810 is now know to overheat.

In Finland, I got 44€ shipping costs D: But that's life, doesnt matter if those were 5e or 50e
I've had my op2 for a week now and it's been getting some heavy use and I can say it doesn't overheat. No more than my nexus 6.

Congrats on the G4.
Enjoy that removable battery, NFC and sd card slot.
The 808 is a good chip. 64 bit and it's said to be more efficient than the 810.
I don't understand the fascination OnePlus has with removable backs but not a removable battery. Baffles my mind.

I have the OPT and it poorly optimized. It lags and many things don't work all the time.
In the UK the OP2 64gb is £300 inc expedited shipping, Nexus 6 is £420 for the 64gb version direct from Google, big difference.

(Discussion) Procedure to buy and import Mi Pad 4 to India

I have been on a tight budget recently and this Mi Pad 4 fits my budget and the type of device i am looking for. Unfortunately, and i don't understand why, it's not available in India. I just need a PubG, Netflix, Prime Videos, and offline-movies consumption device in a tab (8-10 inch) format. iPad pro is too expensive and iPad budget version is not worth the money.
So, as per my research, my options are to buy it from Banggood, Ali Express, and Gearbest. Now, the part i am not sure of is, how much i would have to pay in import taxes and excise duty to get it shipped to Punjab. The tab itself is about 11-13K on these websites but how much would be the taxes overall.
If anyone had it imported in India, please share the complete procedure.
