HELP! Need help restoring Galaxy Note 8.0 GT-5110 - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Okay so my device is soft bricked, I get the "Firmware encountered an issue" message, and I can only go into download mode. I'm trying to restore to a stock 4.4.2 firmware via Odin but it always fails. I realized its because my current binary is custom and it says system status is custom. Knox warrenty void: 1. Anybody can tell me what I'm doing wrong and need to do? I initially rooted it with CF-Auto-Root-konawifi-konawifixx-gtn5110 btw

[Q] Botched flash Cyanogenmod 12 from Hyperdrive 17, stuck in ODIN kies screen

I probably shouldn't have even attempted this without more info, apparently, but I wanted to give Cyanogenmod and lolipop a try, so I sort of blundered ahead and now Im soft bricked at the "Firmware upgrade encountered an issue." screen.
So, basically first I tried to update TWRP from 2.7 to 2.8.5 via TWRP updater on the play store. It rebooted and didn't take, so I went and proceeded with installing Cyanogenmod via 2.7 TWRP, wiped the pertinent caches and such, and the flash seemed to take, but when I rebooted, I couldn't get passed the Galaxy S4 screen and I had weird brief flickering when I rebooted to try to get it working again, which it never did.
At this point, I just figured I would flash the backup I made prior to trying to install Cyanogen, but that flash failed and I was stuck at Odin, with no option to boot into recovery.
Here is where I probably screwed things up even more, as I didnt realise there was a specific ROM I was supposed to flash from Odin, so I've tried and failed to flash a bunch of stock images I've found online, none of which appear to be the right one. Im stopping here and deferring to the forum for some help, hopefully. Apologies if this is a common thing, but my searchings haven't turned up anything I can use, and Im afraid to screw up my phone more.
The last image I tried to flash was this:
SCH-I545_VZW_1_20130613171315_24s13crny1_fac
Odin got to aboot.mdn and then failed, with this message
<ID:0/004> FAIL! (Auth)
<OSM> All threads completed. (succeed 0 / failed 1)
the ODIN screen on my phone reads
PRODUCT NAME: SCH-I545
CURRENT BINARY: Samsung Official
SYSTEM STATUS: Official
KNOX KERNEL LOCK: 0x0
KNOX WARRANTY VOID: 0x0
CSB-CONFIG-LSB: 0x30
WRITE PROTECTION: Enable
EMAC BURST MODE: enabled
START [224,1440]
SW REV, CHECK FAIL : fused : 6(or possibly 8? it looks more like a 6 though), Binary : 3
Also, I wasn't aware I needed a PIT file, so at this point I pretty much need every relevant file and detailed instructions on what to do. Apologies for my noobishness, this is the first time in 5 years I've needed this much help flashing a ROM... =(
Thanks in advance!
Edit: The problem was indeed that I was trying to flash an older ROM onto my phone. For the stupid inclined, always check what baseband model your phone is before flashing a stock image. If you're locked out of the OS, you can find this on the sticker on the side of the box your phone came it, under the listing "s/w" version, the last three characters will tell you what baseband version your phone shipped with.
Beginning to see where I went wrong in Odin, as I've been trying to flash earlier android versions. Downloading an NC5 factory image now, Will report back.
Christ, Im an idiot.

I had the same problem. I tried to update to 2.8.5.0 via TWRP's Play Store app and got a soft brick. Couldn't get to OS or into TWRP recovery. The phone was stuck at "Booting into recovery" blue text.
This is a common problem: http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s4-verizon/help/q-twrp-2-8-5-0-t3029191
You'll notice you can only download 2.8.4.0 on TWRP's official website: http://dl.twrp.me/jfltevzw/
I figured I lost the bootloader and the OS since I could only get into download mode. Worst case scenario, I could push the Verizon MDK image again, and push loki'd TWRP recovery back into bootloader with dd command in terminal.
I was in major 'screw it' mode. So I put the phone into download mode and fired up Odin. I tried to push the TWRP 2.8.4.0 tar for the jfltexx firmware via the "bootloader" field. I know the Odin mode isn't compatible with jfltevzw and it did say "failed" as expected, however on reboot I didn't get stuck at the "Booting into recovery" blue text. Everything was intact. Somehow, it fixed the bootloader/recovery on my device.
Once into the OS, I reflashed the jfltevzw img 2.8.4.0 using the "dd" mode in terminal. I didn't want to give it a chance to get stuck at the blue text again on reboot: http://twrp.me/devices/samsunggalaxys4verizon.html
Hope it helps someone!

[Q] Can't seem to flash Stock Firmware with Odin

I am playing around with my old S3 and decided to root and load custom firmware. I was dumb and rooted via towelroot then installed Clockwork Recovery... before reading up on the fact that my S3 running 4.4.2 (Build I535VRUDNE1) has a locked bootloader. Whoops. Now my recovery seems to be bricked (Yellow Verizon triangle warning of unauthorized software).
I have followed the steps in this thread to flash the stock recovery using ODIN 3.09. I don't get any error messages and it appears successful within ODIN, but when I try to boot into recovery afterwards, I get the same yellow Verizon triangle.
For what it's worth, Odin mode is showing my binary count as 2 ("BOOTLADER RP SWREV: 2")
What am I doing wrong?

Firmware Upgrade encountered an issue

Had my phone rooted with 4.4.4
Wanted to upgrade to 5.0. Went with Stock firmware
I try to "reroot" install CWM with ODIN -Pass
Used CF Auto Root - Failed
I try to get into the recovery screen and I get an error that say s Firmware Upgrade encountered an issue.. Use Kies to restore.
Problem here is Kies will not recognize my S/N and in talking to their support they claim kies can't be used after a phone has been rooted.
Just a side note I was having problems before I upgraded the ROM woudl get that error saying SEANDROID not enforcing. I was hoping the new firmware would resolve this. I don't get this error anymore but can't get into recovery either.
Thoughts?

If you can get into Download Mode you can Odin 5.0
May is Motorcycle Awareness Month Sent from my Galaxy Note 3
I did that, I was able to get 5.0 running..
So I installed CWM with Odin and that installed.
Used Odin for CF Root. it failed..
Can't get into recovery either as if I do it goes that error then I"m stuck there. Seems like the only way I can get out of it is to reinstall 5.0 fully via Odin then I'm back in business.

I was under the impression that you needed to root first, Then install a recovery? maybe it doesn't make a difference...
but I would try Odin the stock tar,
then Odin cf auto root
then Odin twrp
worked perfectly for me.
(also, I don't ever use kies for anything. ever.)

Odin can't detect my phone after rooting.

Hello everyone, this is my first time to post here. I would be grateful if you would guide me in this forum. : )
So this is my problem...
I have a Samsung Galaxy S3 (SHV-E210K) running on KitKat 4.4.4.
I wanted to install a Custom rom so I did some research on downloading and installing one. I found out that I needed to root my phone first before being able to install the rom, so I found this CF Autoroot for this specific model. I successfully installed it and rooted my phone using Odin v3.10.6. I already downloaded the custom rom and as I try to get my phone to Download mode, it says:
ODIN MODE
PRODUCT NAME: SHV-E210K
CUSTOM BINARY DOWNLOAD: Yes (1 counts)
CURRENT BINARY: Samsung Official
SYSTEM STATUS: Official
Secure Download: Enabled
KNOX WARRANTY VOID: 1
RP SWREV: A2
I don't know what to do to install the rom. If I won't be able to install the rom, I would just like to revert everything and be able to use odin mode so if something fails in the future, I could use Odin to flash my phone...
Btw, I can use my phone entirely as a normal operating phone except only for that Odin or download mode.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance and have a good day everyone!

Phone Cant Install Firmware after odin or SmartSwitch are done(SM-G925I)

hey there
i can flash any firmware i want with odin 3.11.1 and everything goes smoothly also with Smart Switch but when these apps are done the Phone can not install the firmware it goes half way at "Installing system update" and say Erasing then it goes to recovery and after reboot goes to recovery again and say "dm-verity verification failed ...
Need to check DRK first..."
my download mode status is as follows
RP SWREV : B:3 K:2 S:2
Knox warranty void : 1 (0x0304)
what i did to make the phone work again is
i flashed the 5.1.1 stock firmware then flashed Unikernel or flashed AP and Bl separately with odin ....both ways made the phone work again but Baseband and IMEI and IMEISV all UNKNOWN

all i want now is be able to make the firmware install on the phone
Note :
the phone is SM-G925I
everytime after i flash a firmware and goes to recovery it says
"installing exec-multi-csc : TMB"
and this TMB is T-mobile related but mine is SM-G925I
***some guy Rooted my phone at some store and downgrade it to 5.1.1
because my phone was on 6.0.1 and after update imei changed to 350000
then i tried above things
please help me to fix this phone asap
thank you very much
the problem is i formatted the EFS partition and flashed another phones EFS so the Serial number is changed also IMEI and baseband is gone ...before its gone it was 350000000006 something like that
