hello guys! As I go through my research on getting a case that is just meant for my g-tab, finally after a long browsing and searching, it is already available in Amazon! (mostly good for U.S. consumers)
Attached are the pics which I uploaded for you guys to see. Also, it looks like it just came out so there's no reviews yet or maybe I'll be the first one who will write the review!
Will give this a try in Amazon.

LOL! I hate that snow! See that's the thing, I am a bit skeptical doing online purchases outside US... not that I don't trust them but might as well wait till it's available in US market, plus on top of that is you can track them but I hope u'll get yours on time! Give an update if it works well on you.

Purchase two from China back in December. Works perfectly.
How well does this hold the GTab? Has it ever fallen out on you?

Funny they are apparently relocating the tab just like everyone has been doing here. So you pay $10 extra to get someone to mess up with your brand new case with an exacto knife and hot glue
Hope they pre-modded some in advance and you guy don't need to wait for them to get it all the way from china do the mod and then pass it your way.
thats true...at least if I'm not satisfied I can return it easily to Amazon.
I also got the skinomi skin protector so if this case will scratch my screen,I'll be able to tell. I also hope it will hold the tablet well enough.

Thanks for the heads-up on this. I thought about ordering one from ebay, but Amazon is so much easier to deal with, and Florida is soooo much closer than China!
Any have any experiences working the keyboard on this case?
Wenger case
Bought a protective soft carrying case at Best Buy that fits perfectly - it's a Wenger (has the red cross logo). Just took my G Tab in and experimented till I found the right fit. http://www.wengerna.com/search/results.php
Great for travel, but sounds like the Amazon deal may be better.
Purchased the one on Amazon. Ordered Friday and received Monday. Works as advertised. Tab moved from blocking USB. Patch looks great and well done. USB cable more than long enough. This is a WINNER!!!

This case holds the G-tab well. It has the magnetic snap so it won't fall on you. Got mine today, Im satisified with it. Keyboard works too.
here's a quick review i wrote up for androidforums.
-nice material, well made
-keyboard works flawlessly with VEGAn (i didn't even get a prompt, just plug and play)
-keyboard functions will run android commands (i.e. windows button = android menu button)
-stand holds it at a great angle for viewing (this is a must, especially with our screens)
-does not cover any accessory ports (micro/mini USB, headphones, charger) or buttons (power, volume, etc.)
-DOES cover part of left side speaker and all of right side speaker (although you can still hear them)
-no plastic bracket to hold top of tablet (uses the magnetic closing strap to keep it in while upside down which concerns me slightly, although the magnet is fairly strong)
-included stylus does not work (duh)
all in all, i would certainly recommend this case. i am pretty sure that the only comparable ones out for the g-tab right now are $10-15 more than i paid through amazon, do not include a keyboard, and ship from China.
i have much better pics than the ones on Amazon, but i can't post them yet. [email protected] newbie mode!

Received it today! (17th of January to the 2nd) Looks good, keyboard works, modified for the Gtablet (http://witglobal.com/goods-2286-10i...for+Viewsonic+Gtablet+10+-+Free+Shipping.html) so the tablet slides into case from right to left. The left support covers the mini-USB but the USB port is available. Keypad works fine. Case sits a little too upright but I can deal. For $25 delivered it works pretty well. i also received my suction cup holder (http://witglobal.com/goods-2005-Car...nic+Gtablet+10+Car+holder+-Free+Shipping.html) and it is a little less impressive. Currently suctioned to my desk. The arms cradle the unit securely but stick out about 1 inch beyond the face. I will probably put a little velcro to secure it a little better. Not overly happy about the fit but for $20 I might be able to modify it to work. It does swivel nicely which helps for viewing angles.
These along with the dock I received, I think I have all the accessories with the exception of an HDMI cable.

Looks really good, BUT Amazon now says on-order, unknown when back in stock. I am very new to the gtab and still using as it came from the box, a little afraid to try and do to much to it. May just wait for honeycomb.

My Review:
I have the case. I purchased it on eBay. It is very form fitting. It feels sturdy, tough, and yet soft. It is elegant in design and swift in feel. It feeos like it will do a great job of protecting the phone from dings and dents. It is very nice. The only downside, it has a very thin line of demarcation around the sides that make it feel weird. But don't let that stop you from getting a good case. It allows access to all of the ports, HDMI and MicroUSB, and covers the power and camera buttons, along with the volume rocker. It does not scratch easily, if at all. I give a total rating of 4.5/5.0 stars.
EDIT: I forgot to add, it is a pain in the behind to use the power button.
looks like a nice case, maybe would order one so it can take turns with my Otterbox commuter I'll wait for your review
Do you use the sprint car dock? Curious if it fits with the case on. I got the Bestbuy hip case/holder combo and that case doesnt fit the dock with the insert removed.
I unfortunately do not own a car dock. Sorry. I think it may fit though.
I will add a review on the second post of the thread that says "Reserved".
I went ahead and ordered one anyway. I will let you know if it fits.

Well I received my case yesterday... It fits the Mopho nicely however the power button is a slight pain to hit.. If that kernel ever comes out with the slide on capabilities with the four bottom buttons it wouldnt be an issue.. It does NOT fit the car dock but DOES fit nicely in the Best Buy's Platinum Series belt/hip clip and comes in and out of it much easier than the hard case for the Platinum Series. The rest of the buttons seem to work no problem. Just the power one is an issue for me. I may just need to put a little more M A N into it I dunno.. Anyway just wanted to let you all know my experiences so far. Wish I could find one to work in this dang car dock. Nothing does that I can find so far.

Hi there! I bought this case for someone else (gift), and I'm not sure if it fits the tablet well (I don't have the tab with me). Are you able to lock the front cover in place? Or is it basically just a flap? If you can post a pic that would be great! Thanks!

Search Youtube for a clip titled "Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 Original Sleeve and Screenprotector Review." (3:03 long) It shows the case in action. (Sorry I can't post links yet cause I'm such a noob.) From that video it doesn't look like the cover locks closed. It does look pretty damn sleak though. I've alread ordered one off eBay.

I thought the Samsung bookcase cover for the OG 7" did this a little better. The corners of that one protruded out past the screen just enough for the cover flap to nestle in. The 7.7 cover doesn't flop around like some iPad covers I've seen, but it's not as snug as the Samsung 7".
Anyway, I think 7.7 looks great and performs adequately and is good to have even if it's $20 too much.

A bit out if the subject but i think the following would be a better case than the samsung one. For starters it opens from right to left, as it shoukd, and the cover does not flap open as it has small magnets so it stays closed at all times. It also has easy access to power and vol up/down buttons, ear phone jack, mic, charging slot and speakers as well as the sim and sd slot. There would be no need to removed tad to access anything. The seller will also ship a combo stylus/pen, the stylus has a rubber end and it works flawlesly on the tab. I ordered mine about 2 weeks ago and received it yesterday, it came all the way from china. I originally payed 19.99 but the seller has then raised it 29.99, i guess due to the popularity of the tab. I still think its a very good deal for a very good case.

Are you sure, because OEM stands for "Original Equipment Manufacturer" and since Samsung is the manufacturer (i.e OEM) of both the 7.7 Tab and the 7.7 Book Cover Case, the Case could be considered both the "Original" case as well as being the "OEM" case

I think cases like this where you have slide the tablet in really hide the asthetic beauty and slimness of this devise. They also make it look thicker. The Samsung case is very thin. The tablet snaps in securely and allows you to see how thin the tab is. It doesn't mattervwhich wasy it opens. I can access all ports without taking it ot of the case. Obviously it all comes down to personal preference but I have seen no cases that come close to the Samsung.

Cool, then hopefully i will get mine before my new estimated ship date of 2/9
Purchased 3 of these cheap cases and received them today. They fit very snug and what I actually like best is that they cover the power button and volume rocker and when you push on the buttons on the case, you are pushing on phone buttons but it is harder to push so that you don't keep turning off phone by accident and adjusting volume by accident.
Bought for $5.95 each from Cimo Cases on Ebay. Received in 3 days with free shipping. Beats the heck out of paying $30 for same type of case at Att or BBY.
They are nice and thin and make the phone less likely to be dropped because of the grippy sides.
Boxwave sells them too, as do many other sellers, but on Ebay they were less expensive.
Cheers

Thx but I answered my own question too since both arrived last Friday & fit fine. I like this S-line TPU case so much, I'm about to order 2 more for backup. I had a similar TPU case (made by Belkin) on my iPhone 4 with no issues so hopefully there won't be any issues with this one too.
I ordered one and it fits really snug. The bad thing was my volume button didnt work with the case on so i had to cut it open to access it. Its ok overall but I ordered a different case because of it.
-On another NOTE, Samsung goes 5.3"
The volume works just fine on mine. I like the fact that you have to push harder through the case to operate it because without the case I kept hitting the volume and power button by accident. Now no more accidental power downs or volume adjustments.
i just wish I could find a holster that will fit with this on the phone. I love this and have had mine for a month and liked it so well I got it for me SGSII aswell. I found a holster that works with the SGSII very well but that was only because I got the skyrocket holster which compensated for the extra bulk but with the note being the biggest one out there I am at a loss...
I bought this same case in clear color, but due to convenience, I shelled out $20 at a kiosk in the mall.
ouch I think I paid 6 bucks
Yup, got a clear one, both form and function are just fine.
P.S. got it from this guy $1.99 delivered.

Hmmm... I was thinking about getting a white one. Does the whole thing get nasty or is it just the matte part? Have you tried some soap & water?
I Learned that the hard Way from my Old Iphone 4. Never to purchase white tpu cases that weren't glossy and i believe the clear ones turn green or yellow due to the oil from your fingers.
-On another NOTE, Samsung goes 5.3"
i just received this case today and I love it! it was about a week late, but for $6, i cant complain. it fits snug, looks and feels great, and I will probably be ordering an extra.
last note: the ebay add says its for the AT&T 1717, but it comes in a package for the international version. luckily there are no major differences, but the only difference i found is purely cosmetic- that being the camera is not centered properly in the camera cutout, but it doesnt block the lense at all, so its not that big a deal.
Does anyone know where I can find exactly the same case without kickstand?
http://www.amazon.com/Hybrid-stand-Samsung-Galaxy--Black/dp/B006VQ6QYQ/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1332125003&sr=8-3
Has anybody found a good car dock for this? I've been using this one http://amzn.com/B0089VO7HE which I like quite a lot, but the charge port is obscured by those rests at the bottom. Also I think the One max is a bit too heavy for it, as it slowly angles down with time.
Anybody find a good car dock that works well with the One max? Most I find are either really bulky, with a bunch of adjustable joints, or would cover up the charge port or buttons on the side. Verizon's website says this http://www.verizonwireless.com/accessories/windshield-mount fits it, but I was curious if anybody had found any others before I went ahead and bought this. All the reviews say this one seems to bounce around quite a lot as you drive.
I had a Ibolt with my note 2 and it worked great; no bouncing or shifting.
Dont know if they have one for the max yet, but here is what it looks like. You can email or call them and see though..

That looks pretty sweet. Looking at the one for the Galaxy S3/S4/Note 2/Note3 (http://amzn.com/B00AOCSFYC) it looks like it might work fine for the One max. You'd have to face the phone the other way so the top mount wasn't touching the power/volume buttons, but that shouldn't be a big deal.

might want to be careful with getting one designed for samsung devices since they have a tendency to flip the usb port
i use the same one i used with my dna, which looks to be the same general design. and all i do is slide the phone over a little so the top brace doesnt sit on the power button

FWIW I just kept my Samsung dock (http://amzn.com/B0089VO7HE) and broke off the bottom right support, which was blocking the USB charge port on the One max. It doesn't look as good, but I melted the plastic with a lighter to remove most of the rough edges, so at least it's now functional, and can handle my DNA or my One max.
I sold my dock for my note 2 on Ebay when I got this phone..
wondering if there are any other car dock options out there, reasonably priced..
thanks!

But can you put the phone in the HTC dock while the case is on it? I have this case http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00G1PI73K/ref=oh_details_o02_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I ordered this dock a few days ago; less than 1/2 the price, and it looks like it will fit with a case on the phone, as long as its 3.4 inches or less in total width..
Do people not have many tried and trusted docks they use? I'm using a universal tablet phablet car holder which is rubbish. It was fine back when I had a iPad mini. And my Xperia ZU because they had bigger bezels around screen but with this the 3 hooks take up a cm on phone plus its off centre as hooks would touch power button and vol. Do people have solutions. I have a HTC flip case at present and will most likely get a power flip case. But want a holder to allow for that.

I got this Proclip Extra Large Adjustable and hopefully won't have to get another even if my next phone is slightly bigger. It fits my One Max nicely with a TPU case and some room for growth. It says Note 2 and 3 which just means it's big. The phone slides in/out easily and has a little room in the back for air flow. No problem plugging/unplugging the charger.
The seller Crogs571 has been around these forums for a while and I've bought a couple other things from him.
I've got the HTC dock, it's nice but does not support any case on your phone so that kills it for many people

I made my own dock with an old gps support and the belt otterbox defender support ...
