So... my Mega just doesn't detect any simcard or any microsd card, i just got one for cheap from Ebay, i did the GSm unlock using the Spriunt Galaxy Unlocker app, it said unlocked but i didn't check if the phone actually read sims and sd's before running it so im not sure if that was the cause or not...
Anyone had this issue? phone's on 4.2.2 completely stock.
How do you know your slot replacement was done successfully if it wasn't tested?

thats the problem, i just got it on the mail, charged it for 20 minutes and did the unlock, after that i rebooted and realized it wasn't detecting any simcards, so i though it could be a problem with either the unlock or the simslot, so i ordered one from Ebay, had it replaced, and still wont detect any simcard...
After looking for other people with this sam issue, i found one guy with this exact problem after updating to 4.4.2, his doesnt detect simcards either.
EFS problem , do you have a backup ?!

The rezound has two EVDO radios like the Thunderbolt due to the LTE chip. I have not had a call while using data over 3g yet though.

I just tried it and the data works just fine over 3g only during a phone call.

Thanks for this info. This might be enough to sway me to get this instead of the Nexus.
Got mine today and can confirm it works just like my Thunderbolt. I don't understand why only HTC is smart enough to put this in their phones.

had this issue for months now and all i had to do is change my network mode settings from auto to wcdma or anyother manual choice. since i dont use lte or gsm so my DNA DROID is working very stable on wcdma n not having preparing sim card mess anymore its been a week without error....hope it helps you all.

It will happen again, just wait. It's a hardware flaw no software changes are going to stop it.

I have had this on 2 Note3s. SPRINT. Anytime when turning on 4G LTE or switching from wife to LTE. I get this it also has a constant notification. I have replaced phone. Updated prl.profile.firmware. factory reset. Nothing. Sprint says they are unaware as usual. Is anyone else having this issue. Pic related..

Never seen that. Wonder if your SIM card is setup correctly. Do you get lte? Can you use it?

My best guess, is what @w7excursion said. Your sim card has not been programmed for your account. Your best bet, would be to take it to Sprint store, that is also a repair facility. You may have to go to more than one, until you find someone competent enough to handle it.

Yes it works but LTE is so slow in my area like 1-3 mb.

And yea I got it from best buy and had them replace my first one and then I called sprint like a month ago and they stated they had no idea. But if you literally Google those words sprint and note 3 you will see other people are having issues with it. I think sprint is having problems having to depend on a similar card for lte.

You're not the only one with useless data speeds. I'm happy on days when LTE speeds reach 1Mbps, here in the Houston area.
I realize this question is posed often, but I have tried all of the suggestions and still no luck. I have a rooted Galaxy Note II flashed to PagePlus. Everything is working perfectly EXCEPT I get the "No sim card, emergency calls only" error. The no sim icon is always there. I have tried adding the line "ro.config.donot_nosim=true". I have also added "ro.config.tima=1". Still the no Sim error exists. Any ideas?

Have you tried a network reset?
SETTINGS>GENERAL MANAGER>RESET>RESET NETWORK SETTINGS
Doubt it'll work but it might.

Also, T-Mobile can reprovision her SIM or she can try a new one. The odds are small but this has resolved an issue I had which was quite similar. If you have Twitter, DM T-Mobile Help and they'll do it for ya. Love going through them VS calling in.
