Please help.
I plug the charger and restart the phone. After a while I saw phone says device memory has corrupted and it will wipe all my data. And after factory reset all my data has gone. The worst is all my files in internal storage has gone. How can ì recover them?
You could download a program that can recover deleted files from thumb drives . I would just google it.

I got a Vibrant as a gift from my relative (he recently bought a Tab), and i can't erase the data (gallery, his gmail account).
I have done everything that i know, from factory reset to wipe data from recovery mode. Well, i even downgrade the firmware to the stock UVJFD, but no matter how hard i try, everytime i restart the phone, the data will always restored. the applications i installed are also gone it's like the phone create some restore point that resets whenever it gets rebooted.
I'm not living in US, so i guess i can't get support from T-mobile
please help.. and excuse me for my bad english ^^
settings>sd & phone storage>unmount phone storage>format will erase everything

All you have left then is to root and install a custom rom. That will fix the issue for sure or odin back to stock.
Dialing *2767*3855# will do a hard reset. That may help.

The problem is right there, I even could not do "re-install package" in the recovery mode because all data I kept in the internal sdcard will always be vanished if I reboot the phone,, I tried to mount the internal sdcard in the PC, then format the drive. It can be formatted, but after I rebooted the phone all the previous data come back. That's the problem

Sounds like you need to get cwm recovery on there and format sdcards internal and external then reflash with Odin just to be safe

As per other identical posts
Recuva may recover deleted files but it will not recover if INT SD card has been formatted .

I have tried this app before. However, when I plug in my phone the app never detect my phone. I try install an app on my phone to enable usb mass storage, it keep giving me error saying unable to mount the sd card as some app is accessing it. What should I do so the recuva can detect my phone internal memory?
AFAIK you can't. That's one of the many reasons I miss the USB Mass Storage mode, under which both internal memory and sd card can be managed as ordinary USB drives.
Thanks for everyone feedback. I think the files are unable to recover back since I wipe it when reboot in recovery mode, it is equal as formatting the sd card.

You can still give it a go by removing and inserting your SD card to a card reader and plug it to your PC/Laptop. Recuva isn't designed to detect and recover files from your smart phone. Instead, it can still recover files from various types of USB or flash devices.
Good Luck otherwise.

I have the same issue. I am trying to recover deleted files from the internal storage (sdcard0) I tried recurva as well and it Windows can't detect the storage when in USB Mass Storage. It shows up as a drive but when you click it in Windows it says "Please insert disk".
If I can get the files to show up in Windows while in USB Mass Storage I can then use Recurva.. any help?
You can try Undelete from the market .
Otherwise as posted answers .

99% no.
My 2 cents...
You cannot mount as mass storage so no PC software will work.
There are things on the market but you have to pay and many probably wont work.
Think of any lost data as gone forever.
Proactively, get foldersync from play and have it schedule sdcard syncs to the cloud or even better, a home computer wirelessly

You may check out this android internal memory data recovery tutorial which claims that it can recover deleted files from android phone and tablet internal storage.
Just backup in cWM
What would happen if I connect my phone to the pc and then delete everything from internal Memory?
My phone is much slower than when I first bought it. I want to make it fast again.

What I meant was would the phone stop working? What exactly does the internal sd hold? Just app data?
If I wipe internal memory (sd) then restore from titanium, would that get rid of all the old left over files?
I'm guessing that it would bring about an apocalypse... ( -_-)
Actually, all your system files are stored elsewhere. Nothing will happen except that Android has to re-make certain folders again.
Nothing significant would happen, just personal files like music (if you keep them there) would be deleted. Android would remake certain folders as well.

Anything that would normally be on an sd card, so app data and personal files that aren't on your external sd card.

AW: What would happen if....
Better make a factory reset / wipe data & cache. But all your userdata are lost (SMS etc.), and you have to re-install all your needed apps, configure your mail accounts and so on...
If you will do a factory reset I advice to use Titanium Backup for backing up your data & apps.
Hey guys,
A friend of mine has done the factory reset from the settings and lost all his photos accidentally. He hasn't backed up any of the data via CWM recovery or on the cloud. Basically he has no option of recovering data except his phone. What I wanted to know is if you do the factory reset is there any possibility of recovering the data.
There are a few undelete apps, could give them a try or failing that you can try connecting the phone up to a laptop/PC and trying to use software like Recuva.

Once you nuke your sd card (format it) everythings gone!!! End of story. Thats why its important to use cloud storage or in my case that and a flash usb drive everything thats backed up on to your sd card once you format it do a factory reset its gone
