Hello. I'm having trouble getting a Gigabyte M7700B Bluetooth mouse to pair up with my Xperia Tablet Z. I've tested it with my OnePlus One and it connects up instantly without any trouble. On my XTZ however it gets to the "Connecting..." phase and just hangs until it gives up. It still says the mouse is paired, but there's no cursor and the Bluetooth light on the mouse is still flashing. I've been able to successfully pair my Logitech Bluetooth keyboard, just not this mouse. I'm running the latest CM11 nightly (20141224).
Any help?

Thanks for the suggestion. I ended up reflashing a stock firmware (due to an unrelated issue I was having with my custom recovery) and now the mouse pairs successfully. I've got both my keyboard and mouse working in tandem without any issues. Evidently the problem I was having must be an issue with Cyanogenmod.
Just as an addendum, I've tried a couple of different Roms now besides CM - the latest builds of AOKP and PAC-Man. Both of them have exactly the same problem pairing with my mouse - they get to the "Connecting..." phase and then don't actually connect. Very annoying!
Success! I managed to get my mouse working perfectly with OmniROM.

Been putting off installing a custom Rom on the SGS2 (UK) because it's been working fine for what I need, but now I'd like to use it as a Bluetooth keyboard and mouse on my Windows PC (without the need for a server app).
I've read about an app called Bluputdroid which will connect to a PC via bluetooth and be recognized as a HID keyboard and mouse but requires a coustom Rom with a specific bluetooth stack.
Which Rom should I try?
Thank you
only way i know to get around it is to use an AOSP rom, like cm7/cm9 or MIUI, i did the same thing to get my playstation sixaxis working hope this helps

As coffmad said, any AOSP ROM should work for what you're looking for, as they will utilize the generic Android bluetooth stack, instead of Samsung's.
That said, I know you said you don't want to install a server app, but have you considered looking at GMote? It works over wi-fi. There's a very thin app you install on the computer, and your phone connects to it over your network. This is what I use to utilize my phone as a remote for my computer.

FYI, SixAxis works on Samsung based ROMs, and has for quite some time. I think since October or so. I've got it working just fine, and I'm on stock XXKI3.
When I try to connect my bluetooth mouse to the Xperia S it says "Paired but not connected".
Is there another way to do this or I am doing anything wrong?
I am using stock XX.73 Firmware.

Tried.. the same ... I could use same mouse with Galaxy Nexus so maybe ICS only support this
Hi calibx
I had the same with connecting bluetooth keyboard saying pair but not connected. However, i can pair and used the keyboard with my Mac Pro bluetooth. Seems like something wrong with the xperia s bluetooth software. Hope Sony can get it fix with a cumulative update.
Same .73 Firmware.
Just bought an OTG USB cable. My Logitech USB Receiver (unity) works without any problem !
It seems Sony include usb mouse support in the Xperia S but not BT mouse.
RF keyboard mouse had no issue as the Sony boutique did just that. The only problem is BT which cannot seems to work. Even there is a youtube showing problem with BT headset. Otherwise, i will connect a wired keyboard instead.
Do you know wich rom support bluetooth mouse for the htc amaze ?

Sony don't developed a driver to make easily the use of BT HID devices, so many users give up and uses OTG, so then buy a pricey dock for Sony victory... but here you find a nice alternative.

Hello,
I have an HTC Inspire 4g running Mustaavalkosta's unofficial Cyanogenmod 10.1 ROM. Everything works great, except my Microsoft Bluetooth Mobile Keyboard 5000, which is an HID Bluetooth keyboard (no SPP). I get a proper PIN exchange and it pairs with my phone successfully, but I can't actually type anything with the keyboard, and it does not appear in the Languages and Input section of the Settings app. The keyboard itself is good because I can use it with my laptop and an iPad.
I've tried apps like BlueInput, MyBlueCon, and Bluetooth keyboard easyconnect, but all fail to make a connection with my keyboard. In the case of BlueInput, I get a message that "this Android does not support Bluetooth HID."
Any other workarounds I could try? Or am I missing something really, really obvious?
(I have a feeling this is a ROM problem and I should be posting in its development thread, but I do not have the permissions.)
I just installed Cyanogenmod 7 stable, and the keyboard does work with this ROM. So does Cyanogenmod 10 just not have HID Bluetooth support? That would be a shame...

Bump! Running CM 10.1 (the TeamCanjica mod) on a Galaxy Ace 2. Phone can seemingly pair with the HID devices which worked in stock rom, but no luck in connecting to them. It just says connecting and never gets connected.
This rom, in contrast to the stock rom, is really fast, stable and nice. But the possible abscence of BT HID is a bummer. Is it often an intended omission from the CM development team and if so does anyone know why? Does anyone know of possible workarounds? On an older device with Android 2.x, I think I installed some third-party app which worked rather nice.

I have used a Logitec dinovo mini for years on Android without using the dongle, but now under Android 8 Oreo, it seems to connect asking for pin and registers, but it does not do anything, and the connect light on the device goes on blinking. If I connect via USB C- OTG - dongle, it works fine, but that is useless as I need the USB C port for HDMI to TV to display the fantastic Linux like desktop (Huawei Mate 10 Pro).
Belkin F3U047 10/100 Ethernet Adapter working - working (Had to boot into recovery and then reboot before it works. If I unplug Nexus Player and reboot, it stops working until I boot into recovery and reboot again)
Nyko Playpad Pro - Working in G Play games that I have from store etc.. but not so great in some emulators yet (still working on it)
diNova Mini Bluetooth keyboard - Cannot get it connected
Logitech K400 Bluetooth Keyboard - No connection also
I'll update as I try additional devices

Nope. Just pulled the receiver out of my PC and connected it to the Player with an OTG adapter. Works through an OTG hub as well.

My dumbass.... Had wrong dongle.
Found correct one and K400 works.
Sweet! I'm going to use the K700, which came with the Logitech Revue (Google TV). We kept using and were really happy with the Revue, to honest. But it died about a week for the NP went on sale. Timing was perfect, but we balked when it first went on sale, and then it was taken off the market for a few days. I bought a Unifying adapter, and configured the K700 on my PC, and it works great. I also tested it on my Oneplus One over OTG, and it's fantastic. Love that the home and back keys work, and the touchpad.
I've tested a Rii RT-MWK02 Mini Wireless Keyboard and it seems to work fine via Bluetooth - http://www.amazon.com/Rii-RT-MWK02-Wireless-Keyboard-Pointer/dp/B00BVZZG0C
I haven't done extensive testing but it does work.
MOGA Pro controller works. Tested with Modern Combat
Microsoft Wedge Mobile Bluetooth Keyboard --- Working
EDIT:
Microsoft Sculpt Comfort Bluetooth Mouse --- Working Kind of
Found that once it was connected if I activated voice search and then jumped out to the home screen while it was still connected, it would keep the mouse connected... otherwise I would just receive the same error.

Logitech Dinovo Edge works beautifully
paired the keyboard and it works nicely. installed xmbc through google browser using this keyboard and built in mouse...
K700 Keyboard
K700 Logitech keyboard, that came with the Revue works. I got a cheap Unifying dongle for it, configured/pair them on my PC. And plugged it to a hub via OTG, and it works pretty great. Things like the volume/mute and some Function buttons don't work. But for typing and the D-pad and touchpad/mouse works great.
Installed ES Filemanager, and it can read a USB Flash Drive, and sideload apps from it.
I'm really happy with this so far.
Hi everyone,
This little thread so you know that the PS4 Remote Play port is working great on my 32Go Wifi Touchpad running the 4.4.4 Cyanogenmod.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/apps-games/ps4-remote-play-t2929147
The Touchpad is a unbelievable little piece of hardware refusing to give up (thanks to the devs).
Thank you for posting this. It force closes on cm 9 4.0.4
Will be updating
Ps4 remote play now works , but Sixaxis does not. Does anyone have it working over usb otg? As I understand cm11 builds have Bluetooth issues
Anyone find a rom that works with both?

Strange.
My DS4 did work over Bluetooth. (Except the home, option and share buttons but this was not a problem as there is shortcuts for them on the screen).
I'll test again soon and get back to you.

Ok, was your ds4 linked to your ps4 primary account?
Mine isn't (and i do not want to do it ) but this might solve our problem.
Can you try and give me a feedback ?
Thanks.

I think we may be having some miscommunication, I am trying to pair the DS4 Directly to the touchpad via the App Sixaxis Controller. I am aware of the 'use a secondary account with the ds4 connected to the ps4 itself method' but I was hoping for remote play outside of the home.
Haven't gotten mine to work yet, touchpad is being stubborn from a different network. But you should be able to use the sixaxis pair tool and download the version of the app that has invisible touch buttons and there is a pre made key map in post 3 of the remote play thread. Works fine on my phone and should scale to work on the touchpad screen.
with some of the new 5.1 builds i've been able to get the sixaxis to show up, but still doesn't work properly. hopefully this is progress at least!
Hi guys wanted to know where can I get the latest apk version cause the last remote app I downloaded the PS 4 refused to connect because it wanted me to update the remote app
