I have my motorola xt1021, i installed the RETGB_XT1021... And O2GB_XT1021... I have giffgaff sim card and my mobile it's unlocked for free sim. But i think i need the archive modem NON-HLOS. bin to restore the network conectivity. Please if you can help me, i was very grateful.

Does anybody have a link to french stock firmware of XT1022? I have problems with radio, which stuck in airplane mode. I was trying the image for indian/all world XT1022 (RETAILDSDSALL_XT1022_4.4.4_KXC21.5-40_cid7_CFC.xml), but no success (discover sim card, but unable to connect). My IMEI is OK.

Yes, unless you root or modify the firmware in any way (except the bootloader which can be locked or unlocked).

Hello!
I flashed the stock firmware for XT1021 (RETUGLB), but my mobile is not working anymore. I think it is because of wrong modem, and I think that it would go away if I used an european rom.
Does anyone have the 4.4.4 stock rom for XT1021, region europe, (mobile carrier 3)?

Hello, before anything I gotta say that english is not my mother language so if there is a mistake in the text, I apologize.

So, the history of my phone is like this, It was fabric stock with KitKat, it had like a pair of OTA updates, but nothing big. When I wanted to install a custom ROM I started looking and almost all of them where Lollipop ROM so without knowing I went head on with one of those, Unlocked Bootloader fine, Installed TWRP, and Installed a custom Lollipop ROM, and so I got a Bootloop. Then looking in some youtube videos I found a tutorial in which explained that I first needed the 4.4.4 fimware and the 5.0.2 Lollipop Stock ROM, followed the tutorial (it used the BR 4.4.4 firmware and BR 5.0.2 Lollipop OTA update) and updated the firmware first (4.4.4 BR) and all fine, out of the Bootloop, everything okay, but I still wanted that shiny custom ROM... so I used the BR 5.0.2 OTA Update and there is where the GSM/Service problem appeared... Thinking in my naive way, I decided to still install the custom ROM... and did it succesfully, but still without the GSM/Service...
Started using Google to find the problem and I got to this thread where the OP had the same problem, but with a different device (His is a MotoE 1023 and mine is a 1021) and following the instructions, using the command suggested in one of the replies I found that my firmware version should be this:

and so I proceeded to download this firmware to make a downgrade and hoping to fix de GSM problem.
I installed that firmware and I got back to KK all fine, but still without GSM/Service, and I am out of ideas now... I hope you guys can help me with this one.
This is the 4.4.4 BR Retail firmware and the BR Lollipop OTA update that caused the problem.
And this is The custom ROM that I installed.

EDIT: Ok, I think I know where the problem is, but I dont know how to fix it, the baseband, and here is what I found:

Gotta say, I bought my Moto E on amazon, its the Global GSM one.
and I have searched and seen that I can flash the baseband alone, but I don't know where to find the same one I used to have on my phone. If someone can link me to it, I would really appreciate it!
Randomly trying out different fastboot files will destroy your phone. Proceed exactly as instructed.
Show me a log of what happens when you do the following commands using the files from RETUGLB_XT1021_4.4.4_KXC21.5-53_cid9_CFC.xml.zip:
mfastboot flash modem NON-HLOS.bin
mfastboot erase modemst1
mfastboot erase modemst2
mfastboot flash fsg fsg.mbn
Repeat - only do the above commands.

IMPORTANT EDIT: Don't know how, but this time is solved, Bandbase went back to the way it was in my before picture. and to be honest, Im kinda sure it was my fault, when flashing I always used normal fastboot, just used mfastboot because you requested it even though it will always say what is in the LOG. I am really sorry for the trouble. Also, if possible, can someone direct me to a safe guide to follow to get Lollipop Custom ROMs? or should I just wait for the official release for XT-1021?

I am quite new to the forum although I have some experience in modding my mobile, so I hope I am posting in the right section.
I summerize here my problem.
I had ICS on my XT910, then I installed BMM on my XT910 and a ROM named "Muscle China" that brought along a JB China kernel (which allows flawless phone call recording), a new radio and very interesting features with Andoird 4.1.2 version.
While updating an installation on Slot2 I deleted the "system" partition on Slot1 by mistake.
I was in a hurry and I needed to have my phone functioning ASAP. So I used a method to "unbrick" the RAZR that worked but installed the stock 982.124.14.XT910.Retail.en.EU.
Now I learnt that there is no way back, i.e. that this JB EU is locked and does not allow you to install other kernels.
In fact when I tried to reinstall the JB China kernel and I enter in AP Fastboot, I connect the RAZR to the PC and I input:
fastboot flash boot boot.img
what I get is:

You may want to do a system wipe and flash fresh.

With that unbrick method, you have flashed EMEA 4.1.2 OTA which flashes cdt.bin secure version 7. Once the cdt.bin is upgraded you will not be able to flash partitions signed with lower secure version. In your case, china system,boot,recovery have version 5 but your device is flashed to version 7. There is no known way to bypass it. You are stuck with EMEA 4.1.2 custom roms or CM variants, sorry.

Hey guyzz.. i need a help.. i have a moto e xt1022. i had rooted it and unlocked its bootloader and today i installed xperia z2 apps using reecovery. after rebooting it just stucks on the motorola logo.. i tried to install the stock firmware but it gives the error saying flash prefetch failed in the first step. the recovery is also gone now.:crying: please help me to get my phone right again.

As you have updated your hone to 4.4.4, you cant downgrade it.. You need to flash 4.4.4 firmware image...

You need to flash fsg too
tried that too, didnt work.
i managed to make it work with making a twrp backup from brazilian lollipop, flashing stock german 4.4.4 (working modem), and then restoring backup.
Not the nicest way but it worked, for now.
Hi all, ive a really big trouble, i have installed on my phone a custom rom 2 weeks ago but i was trying to sell it so ive decided to reflash the official lollipop to have a clear phone without any mods. The problem is that ive tried to flash all the firmware for the xt1524 (my version) but phone doesnt want to boot up , i really need help because i can use only the fastboot when i try to boot up, and i see only FAILED TO VALIDATE SYSTEM IMAGE .

So, i got honor 5X KIW-AL10 (Chinese variant with 2GB ram). I love the phone but i don't really like EMUI. Here's the info:
Lollipop build number: KIW-AL10C00B258 which updates to KIWAL10C00B430 (VoLTE patched MM update). VoLTE update means no custom ROMs. So far, i have downloaded and tried to flash different firmware for the same variant like KIWAL10C00B419 (no VoLTE patch) but it fails because B258 can only be upgraded to B430. I am trying to downgrade the lollipop version to B191 now by flashing its recovery.img, cust.img, system.img and boot.img and then force downgrading. But flashing cust files gives an error:

Hi, I am trying to install Lineage OS and I encounter the same issue, di dyou figure it out?
Where did you find the KIWAL10C00B419 firmware? It seems that this one would be a good base to install Lineage Os. Thanks in advance.
Alright after a few days of trying to downgrade, flashing Lineage OS and ending with a bootloop, I eventually figured it out.
There's actually no need to downgrade, you can install Lineage OS with the most recent firmware on your phone: KIW-AL10C92B437.
Once you have unlocked the bootloader, flash TWRP with adb, you need to flash Lineage OS & a zip that will fix the loop (see: https://jira.lineageos.org/browse/BUGBASH-222?attachmentViewMode=list). I used Fix_boot(422+).zip. Voilà!
