[Q] Turn off auto dim? - LG G Watch

Hi-
I was wondering if there's a way to turn off the auto dim so that the clock face always shows.
The "always on" option is simply the auto dim function.
I've noticed that I can go 2 days with one charge.
So if I can get the beautiful watchface to show always, I wouldn't mind charging the watch every night.
Thank you

With no sleep mode (dim mode processor enter in sleep mode) battery drain is about 12%/H.
Most of face from Smartwatch Bureaux have a setup to enter in dim mode and a "Never" option.

Night Mode / Screen Dimmer

I would like to use my 8525 in place of an alarm clock on my nightstand. But when I have it upright in a dock, the backlight is too bright to function as a night time clock, even when on its dimmest setting. Does anyone know of a way to dim the backlight lower than its lowest setting the backlight control panel? Is there are program similar to the "night mode" that some astronomy programs so you can use your device without affecting your night vision. Vito Astronavigator II has such a feature, but it only works when Astronavigator is displayed. If you switch to the Today screen, the display returns to the normal brightness setting.
Thanks.

[Q] Possible to control brightness of idle mode?

When using my phone, there is one brighter screen mode that occurs when actively using the phone, and then there is a idle dimm mode that occurs after about 30 seconds of idle time. Is it possible to control the brightness of the idle screen mode and possibly set it to 0? Is there an app advanced enought to do that?
I am basically using the phone as an mp3 player at night and I have to keep the phone awake and the screen on otherwise the wifi starts to stutter, but the default dimmness of idle mode is far too bright, so a way to keep the phone awake without emitting light is what I am after, but only on idle mode because otherwise I am not able to see and control the screen.

[Q] G Watch - "always on" screen flicker in the dark?

I just got my LG G Watch yesterday, and I noticed last night when you leave it with the "always on" option where it dims the screen way down, that in the dark I can see the screen flickering. I tried all the different brightness levels in Settings to see if that would change it, but does not. Can anyone else confirm this? You'll have to get in pitch black environment to see this.
Also, is there a way to turn off the "shake n wake", where it turns the screen on from motion? I tend to sleep with a watch on, and noticed this watch is very sensitive to (or that I flop around like a fish when I sleep.. that's possible too) motion, and I'd rather be able to set it in "touch to wake" mode.

I haven't noticed any flickering on mine, but I may just not be as sensitive to it. You can disable the 'wake by motion' function by muting the watch. (Pull down from the top of the screen)

Thanks for the tip on muting to stop the motion sensor from activating the watch. I find it very sensitive and just sitting at my desk working tends to make it constantly wake up. Muting also turns off vibration so I miss when a notification comes to the watch. Maybe in an OS update or possibly a Developer will enhance the settings so you can still get vibration alerts, but turn off motion wake.

Tilt-to-Ambient

Hey folks,
Does anyone know of a way to have the watch display in ambient mode (instead of turning fully on) when you tilt it? I find that the ambient mode is plenty bright and don't need or want it to light up fully when I just want to see the time. Any thoughts or ideas?
Switch off "turning on screen on tilt" (or something like that) in watch settings in Android Wear app

Maximum Brightness in Battery Saver Mode

Hi There,
when starting the "battery saver mode", the display of my phone switches to maximum brightness. I found an article https://www.xda-developers.com/customize-battery-saver-mode-android-8-0/ about settings in android 8 and it kind of works, but only when typing the command "settings put global battery_saver_constants "adjust_brightness_disabled=false" " into a shell (locally or via adb). Next time my phone reaches the "battery saver mode" again, the display is switched to maximum brightness again.
Currently, my phone is running latest LineageOS 16 from this source: https://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-z/development/rom-lineage-os-16-0-t3871409
Is someone else facing this behaviour?
Best regards,
Helmut
It's because the damn led is right next to the light sensor. Light sensor gets blasted with light and thinks it needs to compensate by maxing the display brightness. I've learned to live with it. Alternatively you can disable the auto brightness.
