And . . ., a few Google searches later:
For those of you who want to find out more about Mosatsu, there's a very interesting book of the same name which continues the concept - search Google for "Mosatsu, Photographed by Tommy (12 June 2008).rar"
And for the OCD amongst us who can't stand the shortcut in your start menu without a corresponding glorious icon, I found one:

To change the start menu icon look here:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Security\Shell\StartInfo\Start\Mosatsu.lnk]
"Icon"="\\Storage Card\\Program Files\\Mosatsu\\Icon.png"
(or whereever your .png happens to be)
Remember to soft reset afterwords.

Thanks for the info, but, how exactly? I'm at Mosatsu.lnk and I see (Default), Group, Rank.
Where do you add that line "Icon"="\\Storage Card\\Program Files\\Mosatsu\\Icon.png" ?
Is it a Key, is it a String Value, Binary Value, DWORD? I tried with String Value, but I wasn't able to get it working.
Also, if you install it to the main memory, how do you type in the exact address? Is it just "Icon"="\\icon.png or do you have to add "Icon"="My Device\\icon.png"?
Great apps

I would really hate having a WQVGA device, mainly because it does not get any or minimal development but the XDAblog seems to have found something.

Is it possible to make an end call button of slide mode?
Any update on QVGA version?

thank you very much mr rugal.helpfull.thank you
thanks so mutch mate.i ve been looking for so long for a samsung dialer alternative that is also a cprog replacement.
The thing is that this dialer replacement is a FANTASTIC one, maybe the best out there for Samsung and similar phones, but there is one thing that stops me for using this dialer, and that's: Keypad doesn't Autolock after you press Call to talk with someone. I've read on lots of forums how to remove this Autolock or at least how to dissable it. But my question is Why to dissable it? That thing is placed there with a reason and that reason is this:
- When I dial a number (which I don't have saved in my contacts) I usually use Dial pad ofcorse. I press the numbers and Call button and everything is ok until I accidently press the phone to my chin or face and the Call is ended or put it On Hold cuz I touch those buttons with my skin. Thats why Autolock is here, not to accidently end your call.
So, my questions is: Is there a version of this dialer with enabled Autolock Keys? Or at least is there a tweek to enabled this after I implement this dialer on my phone? cuz this dialer dissables that when installed on phone.
Thanks in front
Kind regards from Republic of Macedonia.

welcome to xda! you are in the right section, but need to look around. a great thread for icons:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=5734318&postcount=2
but there are many, many sets of icons. just look more than on the front page.
also, please use the search function in the future. it will help you a lot!
cheers, and again, welcome!
Thank you my friend. This is your forum is great. I was looking for icons and a little bit but I found the link you gave I have not seen before. Thank you once again.
Yours sincerely
I'm new with the tablet, actually just got it yesterday. I'm looking for a note taking app that I can turn on when I'm browsing Web sites or forums so that when I come across something I want to remember I can jot it down without having a pen and paper. Almost like a floating notepad. Thanks. Also I'm not rooted. Appreciate any help given.
The Samsung memo application, while limited, does exactly that. You can run anywhere by clicking on the arrow in the middle of the status bar, then choosing the memo, and it isn't full screen, it just floats there in the middle of the screen.
Thank you
Hey thank you nightmarebadger. That helps. The funny thing is that I've actually hit that button a few times and have seen the icons down there while browsing around and doing other things just never paid attention to it. Once again thanks for your help.

No problem - good to know that at least some TouchWiz features are actually useful to people .
PS: If you'll ever change to a ROM without TouchWiz (like CM9), the Memo app won't be there any more and you'll have to find a different way - just a "warning"
Have u guys seen the keyboard on google translate app?
It has an option which converts handwriting to text as u write and tap the space bar.
I found that with a stylus i can write much faster and with less mistakes.
And it's nice for taking notes as I follow around our technicians.
So, is there a keyboard out there that can do that?
If ICS' keyboard can do it, where is it in the settings. couldnt find it.

thanx for the effort mate
I tried it out. thats not it. u have to write one letter and wait, write the next letter and wait, etc etc.
u cant use it like u are using a pen and paper like u can with the keyboard of google translator app.
those who havent tried handwriting on google translator yet wont know why i'm so keen on it.
here is how good it is: using it i'm as fas as writing with a real pen and paper.
u can write words side by side, under each other or anywhere in the box and the keyboard will recognize the different words and separate them.
if there is any app that works like that plz let me know guys
