Hi all I am doing mods in Android source code
i searched all over the forums but found one thread to install app on compiled source code's only
i want to know how to pre-install Apps from the Android Source Code After the Successful Build (compiling)
And in the logo part
i changed the Android boot screen by replacing the image with another image but i want to know to where the java file is located that calls the Boot Screen function

I want to start developing a custom rom(or at least to try).But firstly I don't know how to setup git and python on ubuntu.I read on google that I need that files.And when I set them up,how can I get the source code?If you know,please help.and i dont know about git to so plzz guys help me:good:

Hi all,
I'm a new bie in Platform Android Development, i have a problem, hope you help me resolve it.
I downloaded source code Android System to build my own ROM, i use Notepad++ to edit code, but it not easy, and i want to add source code to a IDE for edit code easily. But i didnt find an IDE for it.
Any one used it?

My name is Domenic aka Taker18, i love to work on Android Cuustom ROM´s, bring up new things on Gerrit and alot more.
So i was exited to create an Word Document where i explain how to compile Android Custom ROM´s, a few Gerrit things and cherry-pick comits
Everything is explaned very easy, it tooks 3-4 H for me to create this document, so i hope this help alot of people with Compiling etc.
