flash again with sptools.
seems like you touched the screen when tp upgrade showed up. right?
Actually someone else installed software in myyabsence.
Anyways now the phone is stuck at CANVAS HD logo and in a continuous Loop. Not Even going to recovery.
Infact when It's off and I connect a charger, it just starts bootlooping on bootlogo without I Even switching on.
I hv flashed firmware many times after that so, that is not the problem

hi
i bought X10 today and first thing i did is upgrade its android OS
and after up-gradation same thing started happening to my cell also...
did u find any fix or cure for this problem???
and one more thing after up-gradation main menu got slower!!!
i thought upgrade was to improve the cell !!!
What IF the screen flicker happens when I accidently bricked my phone. I still cannot find any solution. I've flashed my phone so many times now and none of them are working. Just right after I turn on my phone, the backlight is on and i can see the screen flickers. haihz
happened to me to after i used the flashtool to flash 2.1 global generic.
i kinda got over it but i'd like to know why.
the flash worked perfectly. and so did the flash of my current 2.2.1 freex10 rom .
so i have no idea whats going on.
I have a big problem!! I flashed the new minicm7 rom and it was running perfectly till now, that my touch screen went crazy!! it scroll down all the time, no matter where I pressed, it presses by it self at the bottom of the screen... sometimes it works a little bit, and then my problem comes back again... I tried to reflash the rom, wipin and factory reset, but I got the same problem even in the lock screen...
Could it be hardware problem? My phone didn't suffer a fall or something like that... it's very annoying!!
has anyone experienced that?? what should I do? should I try to reppair with SEUS? in that case how?? and if the problem persists what should I do to leave it exactly in the stock way in case I had to send it to reppair?? because I still have warranty... please help me!! I'm desperated!!!
thanks if you please help me!!
i'm sure there must be someone who can help me! please
I only get this problem if my phone is on charge. But other than that its ok.

I've experienced this but on the Cyanocream Sandwich. It fixed itself upon reboot. never had the problem since. might not work in your case, but give it a shot
thx you 2 for your advices but nothing seems to work. i flashed minicm2.1.4 after 2.1.5 and the problem persists... when I was desperated I tried update with pc companion and it seemed to work but the problem came back. what its amazing is that its not happening continously but randomly and if it happens I block and unblock the screen and it works for a while...
when the problem appears what i experienced its exactly like this: if i watch web pages and i scroll down my screen goes to the top inmediately and i cannot keep on scrolling down,or if im writing if i press a letter one different below is pressed instead...or watching my apps if i go left it goes down crazy as if it wanted to go beyond the bottom of the screen...
if anyone else could help i would appreciate it,if not i'll have to send it to repair for free because its still on guarantee... in that case how should i do to leave my phone in the exactly stock way for the technicals not to see its rooted or unlocked bootloader...
thank you in advance!
As you said you have to use SEUS to return to stock FW. Just turn off your phone and then follow the steps on the computer. When it comes to relocking the bootloader, I cant help you as I have not tried to relock mine yet.
Good luck

Hi... I was on latest Temasek CM11, and flashed Googy max kernel. I got a bootloop, and touch screen completely unresponsive, even on philz recovery. Tried factory reset, another rom, kernel, etc ... Now the phone boots normally, but no touchscreen at all. I´ve heard about burned touchscreen controller when flashing a wrong recovery or kernel, but it wasn´t the case.
Is there any last solution before replacing the screen (again) ?
Stock rom ???
Yes try stock rom.

Trying ... hard to download 890mb over unstable 3g
But even on Philz recovery I can´t get touchscreen to work
If it doesn't work in recovery then the digitiser is blown, new screen assembly required.

can software really cause certain hardware to stop working especially the touch and/or LCD ???. because I have a S3 here too, but the problem is I can't see anything but the touch works. phone boots fine an everything. played music (by randomly touching areas of the screen till I heard a song started playing) it makes sounds when I touch tap the screen, vibrates when i'm typing stuff
the person i bought it from says its a software issue. idk if they are lying to me or not. only way I'm gonna know is if I put another motherboard in and see if my screen
turns on. u can try that too if u have a friend or something that has a S3 too, if the touch works with their motherboard, then its either your motherboard or firmware issue

What did you do that caused this issue to start? You flashed something or modified something, what was it?

You rooted it or something, stock devices don't just start heating up like that unless you're using it heavily while it is on charger.
Or the battery you got isn't right, is the replacement battery rated higher than the one that was in it?
The problem is something you changed or did somewhere.
Regardless, try booting to download mode and flash the stock firmware, if its a software problem that might help, if its hardware you'll have to have hardware repaired or replaced.
