Before I continue let me just say that I’m not a screen protector kind of guy and I have used other products that ended up not lasting or peeling, but when I first read about the Orzly tempered glass I admit I was intrigue.
I received the Package a few days ago which was very nice for a simple screen protector, inside was a Orzly® Tempered Glass Screen Protector, alcohol towelette, microfiber cloth, 2 dust-removal adhesive strip, applicator / bubble-removal card and the instructions manual.
The From the minute I took it out the box I knew this was something different, it felt sturdy and extremely clear even with the sticky film still attached to it. I immediately went to YouTube and quickly watched the video on how to apply it once again just to make sure. I cleaned the screen on the phone real well using all the methods included in the package, the sticky strips worked very well at the end to remove final flying particles of dust. I must say it works as advertised, I placed the screen protector flat on the phone and pressed in the middle section only to watch the screen protector install itself just as the video showed. The corners are rounded to give it a better fit on the phone which also helps with some phone cases not lifting the corner edges. the final product is very nice and flat with out any bubbles or lifted areas, it almost feels as if the two layers fussed together.
Final Thoughts
The Orzly screen protector is definitely a keeper, it feels amazing to the touch retaining full functionality of the screen. The clarity is also very nice and to be honest I can’t tell the difference between the original screen and the Orzly layer. I highly recommend this screen protector to anyone with an Xperia Z3 looking for a premium product!!!!

Good review. I will use the Orzly fusion case with this Orzly Screen Protector and it will be a good combo.
Great review. Im thinking of getting one as well but Im skeptic about it under water.
What about the back?
I will get the Orzly for the front but what about a glass protector for the back?
I was gonna buy this one but i went with the Nillkin but I'll try this one out if anything happen to where I need a replacement

Just buy a cheap plastic one, it will do the job and improve the grip

They said that if you apply it perfectly it's waterproof
Thanks for the review :good: I think their glass screen protectors are fantastic, I have ordered a few of theirs for devices that I've tested in the past. Phones with curved edges however aren't brilliant but then no glass screen protector is. Curved edged phones are the Achilles heel of glass screen protectors!

The Brando Ultra Clear fits perfect on the Touch HD.
For me I use the Brando´s screen protectors for years and I think it´s the best you can get.
I have the Ultraclear and found it is about 1mm too short - it leaves a very small amount of fascia just below the buttons unprotected.
That said, it is better than the rubbish one that comes in the box.
If you are in the UK, they are available from Inkino from stock.
I bought mine from xpansys which is quite good, fits brilliantly & covers full screen exactly. you get two in the pack

I agree it's too small, but much better then the htc one.
im also thinking of getting that screen protector. but yall saying is doesn't fit the whole screen. is it noticeable. can you guys show a pics with the screen protector on the phone. thanks in advance.
My Brando Ultra Clear arrived in yesterday's mail from Hong Kong. Now I feel like a total idiot ... I can't get this @&%@ thing to stick down and stay on the screen. How on earth does it attach? There's no adhesive or sticky side. I've spent an hour trying to fit it to the Touch HD. Lots of bubbles - the screen looks like it has leprosy. I've washed it, cleaned it, tried everything I know.
HELP! Please!!
BTW, it has a cut-out for the light sensor, but not for the front cam (which the stock HTC one has).
is Brando's soft film?
This screen protector is 100x better than the stock one, in my opinion. Here's a picture for size reference

Are you trying to put on the actual screen protector or the piece of film that covers the protector when you open that pack? I was doing this myself for a couple of minutes, if its the top cover then its quite rubbery and green tinted, the actual screen protector is probably still stuck to the back cover of the protector still as mine was.
As for the Brando protector once it's on its a lot more impressive than the HTC one from the box, there is a very tiny gap at the bottom of the screen but less than a mm and doesn't affect useage.

Thanks for replying, KASM! No, I'm using the clear Utra Clear itself and not the bluey-green film that protects the protector. The instructions say that one should fit the protector to the device and then remove the green film. I tried that, with no success whatsoever. After fiddling for a while the clear protector had fingerprint smudges, so I washed it (without the device, as the instructions recommend ), dried it with a hairdryer (as recommended) and tried for another hour.
This is rather infuriating as I'm considered rather handy with little tech thingies ... I can't quite change a transistor on the silicon, but doing electronics is a doddle, so why the [email protected]#& is this giving me such grief...
AFW, did you try the other side of this screen-protector?
Cos normally they have that sticky surface covered by this blueish-greenish film
Although I got mine on with little fuss, I must have made a hash of cleaning the screen as it shows as lots of dust particles underneath the SP, have to do the damn thing again after cleaning it.
Determined to get it right after spending so much on a piece of plastic.

Mine arrived this afternoon BUT after a number of failed attempts to get a perfect fit I think I might need to give the screen protector a wash
Does anyone have any tips on the best way to wash the screen protector before I try to reapply it (I suspect that flinging it in the washing machine isn't considered a good move )
I am waiting for my ultra-clear, i beg on my knees somebody with a "BRANDO deployment certification" to kindly explain the process so that i avoid to put my self-confidence at stake!
Anyone know a tempered glass that at least covers the screen part (curved screen is a pain)? I got something on ebay but it doesn't cover the sides of the screen. I don't like those with adhesive on the sides only and they tend to cover the chrome with a different color.

The Nillkin Tempered Glass covers only the screen. It won't reach the edges. I'd get that, but it just looks awkward if it only covers the center of the screen.
This has also been a thorn in my side as well. I found one on Amazon that claims full protection it's 3D glass and full adhesive coverage as well, but I'm hesitant to buy it because it's $22.

I've got 2 hairline scratches on my screen which are only visible when the screens off and in the reflection of light. Petty perhaps but I seriously can't wait for a proper fitting tempered glass screen protector. If any of you manage to find one please post about it.
Thank you.

Guys
I want glass protector for back ( already I have for front " panzer ")
I want powerful and good quality
If there are in Ali express, or eBay or Amazon send me link.
Alaa, look at the link posted above. There is an option for a "black" under colours? Perhaps this is for the back? Maybe I'm wrong I just can't see why a black screen protector would exist.

@cheddarchi hi did you manage to apply the Max tempered glass? How did it go?
I had 2 types of screen protectors on my XZ Premium so far...
1- Nillkin: did not cover the entire screen and that was annoying. It was fully adhesive and that meant the clarity of the 4k screen was not affected at all! Another problem with it was how it slightly changed the colours on by making them slightly more dimmed compared to the parts of the screen that had no glass over it.
TopNow tempered glass: this is the one I currently have on and it's OK (for now). It does cover the entire screen and it comes with black edges that have no adhesive on the glass part. Because the glass is only hovering over the screen you will notice some rainbow effect if you press the glass. Also the clarity isn't better than the nillkin when it comes to 4k content however the colors didn't lose accuracy. It's also doing a good job at repelling fingerprints.
I'm still searching for the right tempered glass. One that's fully adhesive and covers the entire screen. If it's clear on the edges and bezels then that's an excellent bonus.

It is "ok" (it'll do the job.) It doesn't seem to distort colours or affect sensitivity, but then I haven't had much chance to play with the phone before or after applying it (it's my wife's and she opted for the screen protector ASAP)
It doesn't cover the screen entirely (there's about a 1mm gap all the way around bezel.) But when paired with the official sony case, this becomes less noticeable and not really an issue. If you're using it as a "naked" phone with just this protector, it might become more of an issue?
The sticky portion of this protector covers the entire screen (display portion) but it doesn't go ALL the way to the edge of the protector. This means if you have the screen off and look on an angle, you can see where it's "stuck on" (there's an extra "rectangle" you can see, which is the "glue" of the protector).
My biggest complaint would be that it's a fingerprint magnet! (seems to get really oily/smudged up easily! I dont know if this is because she chose chrome? or if it's just quality of glass.) Compared to Nillkin 9H+ protectors I've used on the Z3 (which the wife keeps cracking!) and the G3 (still going strong after ~3yrs use), I'd be able to use it without seeing fingerprints on it, and only need to "wipe it down" if i've used the phone (held it against my ear, get all the oil from face onto screen) or the kids have been using it
The other thing is that the "glue" doesn't seem to hold the protector in place. Continuing from above, if you give the protector/screen a good "rub" to clean it, it's actually possible to shift it (misalignment of the holes for speaker/lights/etc)... you have to press pretty hard, but it's possible. I dont know if this is because it hasn't had time to "set" yet or if it'll remain like this (I'm guessing probably the latter). Workaround is to just be more gentle with the phone/screen?
All in all, I'd say it does the job and at AU$15 for 2 protectors, it's about the quality I'd expect for that price!
@cheddarchi Mate thanks a lot for that clear and thorough review.
I truly miss the good days when buying near perfect screen protectors was EASY!
The tempered glass I had on my Z3 Compact and Z5 ticked all the boxes you mentioned in your post. They covered the entire screen, fully adhesive, truly oleophobic and you wouldn't even know it's on.
The slightly curved screen is what's making it difficult for manufacturers to get this one right.
Got a deep scratch on the pre-installed protector. Tried this one off Amazon but its not good. Has weird halo bubbles all around the edges.

Bought this pack on amazon (fr) for 10€ there is no hole for selfie camera (I don't selfie so can't tell if it changes any).
There is guide for applying the glass and it fits nicely with the transparent back cover that come with the phone as glass is slimmer that cover edge.
smartphone have been daily in my pocket with keys for 1month+ no visible scratch so far on the front, the back camera one do have a scratch on the macro lens side but doesn't show when I take pics.
the extra mini panels for back is what seems truly protective for me as camera block slitghly stick out of tpu cover

My shipment of Nillkin Amazing CP+ Pro protectors just arrived this week. Besides the usual fussy-ness of installing glass screen protectors, the glass is almost the full size of the screen, just about 1mm smaller on all sides. The glass is fairly thick, but that meant when I had to try to pull it off and reposition the glass, it didn't break and seems fairly robust. The H+ is extra thin, and lots of people complained it cracked very easily, so I went for the CP+. So far I'm happy with the quality. Ended up costing around $10 CAD including shipping from AliExpress.
Thanks for the info...will look into them...

Got my S23U today, I had bought the Spigen tough armour case for it.
I have found that this case seems pretty bad for use with screen protectors. I had put a glass screen protector on and when I pushed the phone into the case, it makes the sides of the screen protector lift a tiny bit as it shows a load of bubbles that weren't there at all prior to putting into the case.
I tried putting another screen protector on and tying again and this one done exactly the same.
After looking at it all, the case is very thick, so i am going to try to get a different one.
Has anyone else tried this case?
I bought one for my S22U but I only used it briefly. It wasn't a good ergonomic fit for me.
The dbrand grip case I'm using is and I highly recommend it. I have one on order for my S23U.
No screen protector compatibility issues with it either.

Spigen makes their own screen protectors that are meant to work with their cases. I have never used one though as the Tough Armor always extends far enough beyond the screen of the phones I've used it on that I've never managed to crack one.
i always been curious why people wear their phone with these gigantic extreme cases.
I'm definitely pro case, but phone are already quite tough, an a little layer of silicone (plus possibly a glass screen protector) would be enough to prevent damages in most of the circumstances

I have large hands. Big cases actually make it easier for me to type without cramping my fingers. In addition to making sure I don't break the glass on my expensive toy.
Keep in mind, I used to carry around this thing... Nothing these days compares to the thickness of this thing.

I'd suggest going with the Neo Hybrid and Spigen's screen protector
I've had the Spigen Tough Armor for probably 5 of my past phones and it is definitely a favorite of mine. I change cases every few days along with the Spigen Liquid Crystal, Samsung S-View, a leather wallet case, and the CaseBorne heavy-duty case. This year's S23U CaseBorne is a bit too big and tight for me, so it likely won't be in rotation very often. I don't use any screen protector.
My problem with spigen cases is that the power & volume buttons are open not fully sealed like samsung cases or other high end covers which get dust & particles into the cover & scratches the frame when trying to remove it
Perfect combo for me.
Of the 2 Spiegen cases that I use, the Liquid Crystal does have open button coverings, but the Tough Armor does not.
Hi, I have tried 2 different brands of glass screen protectors now, both advertised as supporting fingerprint, but i just can't register mine with them.
I have touch sensitivity turned on.
Each time i try to register my fingerprint it constantly keeps saying to try again, it had very occasionally got up to 20/30% done, but it then fails that many times that it takes me back to the start.
Is anyone else having this issue?
Regards
James
I got mine installed at a physical Samsung Experience Store. They used some machinery to perfectly fit the protector on the device. No such issue whatsoever. For all I know, you shouldn’t have any issues with the fingerprint scanner when using thin film-based screen protectors. Some tempered glass screen protectors, especially ones with UV glue may cause problems.
Glass ones have this issue(including Whitestone Dome if not applied really really well) and it's nothing new. Samsung's official plastic one is what I like.
@james_lpool If you prefer tempered glass screen protection, I would recommend this one:

Yeah but that's super expensive.
I got Amfilm , bendable plastic kind (had tempered on S22U and it was a pain) and have had zero issues with fingerprints. S pen also easily glides on it. Not too good with Spigen cases though as they have raised the case sides this year.

Presently I have an original Samsung film (plastic) protector fitted, so cannot comment for the S23U at the moment - but: in the past I used a Mowei protector kit for the S22U, the kit contains a weight that is put at the location of the FP sensor during curing ... this worked just fine....
i got whitestone dome glass and it works fine with my s23 ultra.
I first got Axessorize ARMORGlass, and finger print was ok, maybe 80% success rate with 4 time my finger registered. Big down side is the matt finish around the scanner.
Then simply got a gel protector. The seller told me after few month the glass protector will affect the scanner, while the gel wont.
Overall , the gel look better, but might be less safe maybe?

Which gel protector is that specifically?
Thanks for everyone's replies, after a lot of fear, hassle, and a bit of a loss of money I decided on a film protector which is working 100% fine.
Not sure if I just picked rubbish glass screen protectors, but they caused me big issues. Neither would work with fingerprint reader and because they were hard, my original case was lifting the sides of the protector a bit, meaning touch was less sensitive.
The first glass protector I tried was UV and when it came to taking this off, that was a little scary with this brand-new phone!
Trying to peel it back off was a hard job, was very stuck and was actually cracking as I was slowly lifting it off.
So now i have a different case that doesn't affect the protector and a film protector and all seems good now
