Sir's what could be the cause if my OTG is not working..and my phone cant be detected in the PC even with PC Companion even charging..the fast few days it was working well i transferred some movies via OTG device to my phone..but yesterday when i tried to insert again my USB via OTG to my phone it cant be detected anymore and also via PC using my cable wire..now my only way on transferring files in my computer to my PC is by removing the SD card and putting it in a card reader..someone can help me with this problem?

My phone juz charges when connect to pc via USB but it wont connect to pc and can't mount. It doesn't register on the PC nor does it ask my if I want to mount SD card etc on the phone... mine is on 2.1 and try to transfer file and update new sofeware, but the phone didnt show up mount option let me to choose. Help needed!
hi.
1)make a reboot pc and x10 without usb cable and then connect
2)has your x10 root and xrecovery? then maybe you can mount via xrecovery
3)at last try a cardreader, or try to connect on an other pc
Try a different USB port and/or uninstall/re-install pc companion/update service for driver updates
turn on/of debug mode then try mount

The same just happened to me.
I applied the fugu tweak following the below post and after reboot my PC did not recognize the phone.

In fact the x10 DOESN'T SHOW AN OPTION TO CONNECT AS USB as b4 :-(

Which operating system do you use? Have you tried all USB ports? Do you use the right cable? Have you tried another one already?

I have run into a problem with my 1.5 year old GS2 i9100 which might require Samsung service. My phone is not starting up, not responding to any recovery/download/USB mode starting methods. After going through forums I suppose motherboard might be damaged. When I plug it in for charging using USB cable or regular charger, my phone heats up in normal way.
My concern is the data on usbtstorage i.e. internal sdcard. Is there any way to access and copy the data on usbstorage by connecting it to Windows/Linux OS through USB cable? (Please note it is not detected by Windows on my laptop too )

If cant connecting to ur pc via USB cable, mayb u can try Airdroid, transfer ur data via wifi to ur pc.
AirDroid on a dead phone?

Whenever I connect my Z2 to my PC via USB cable in MTP mode, the computer though detects the device but am unable to surf my Internal and External Card and thereafter I have to reinstall the driver for MTP and then only am able to see both the drives on my PC. I have to repeat this procedure each time I connect my cell.
But when I connect my device in MSC mode, there is no problem. My system immediately detects my phone and I can easily browse my SD card.
My system runs on Windows 7 64 bit.
Any help is highly appreciated.

Are you using the same USB port?
Yes .. Indeed I use the same USB port to connect my Z2 every time!
And each time I restart my PC, I have to reinstall the driver for Z2 when connecting in MTP mode!

I am using Note 4 (SM-910F) with Dr. Ketan M6 for 910f. Since last few days I am having an issue with USB copy from PC to phone.
What works:
Fast Charging
USB PC detection
Copy from Phone to PC
Copy within phone storage from PC
What fails:
Copy from PC to phone.
Whenever I try to copy something from PC to phone, the device stops responding and I have to reinsert again to PC. Apart from this issue everything is working fine. Any help is appreciated.
Note:
I tried using the same usb cable using another phone and the another phone works just fine.
I also tried connecting my phone to a different computer and no luck.
