CyanogenMod 12.1 Nightly
CyanogenMod is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android
REMEMBER:
That for CM Team this is still a work in progress, and CM Team does not offer support to any Nightly ROM
If you desire to try a Kernel, Mod, Customization or Cherry-Pick do-it at your own risk
THIS IS PURE CYANOGENMOD 12, WITHOUT ANY EXTRAS.
Just another reminder if you want to install this ROM:
WARNING:
"Your warranty is now void.
I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards, and any kind of problems in your little life of yours.
Please do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM before flashing it!
YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if you point the finger at me for messing up your device, I will laugh at you."
CyanogenMod is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. CyanogenMod does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
CHANGELOG:
All the source code for CyanogenMod is available in the CyanogenMod Github repo or visit out Gerrit Code Review for a up to date changelog.
For a more comprehensive changelog you can visit here.
Wiki Note: What's CAF?
CAF is a custom Linux kernel branch in place to support Qualcomm hardware. By using a potentially heavily customized kernel (while AOSP Android uses the main Linux kernel).
It's also the Code Aurora repository. It's the place where Qualcomm releases source code for their phone processors.
You can find more information about CAF in their forum, here:

There is quite some confusion at the moment. Apparently myfluxi says that these builds are mostly AOSP (for now). Also, Chaos kernel did not boot on the latest nightly so maybe that's why.

It's easy.
Official CM is atm most Aosp only a few things are from caf but nothing kernel relevant , you can use any aosp kernel with official CyanogenMod 12 also chaos Aosp kernel, this one http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2918578.
Builds from Fluxi are Caf, don't work with aosp kernel but not relevant in this thread.

if there is no official team member is something we never get anything, stop this nonsense and let's keep it cozy in this toppic. If we start so I just close it and hope you stay until an official team member opens slightly. I just started this toppic because there is need.

There isn't need, there is a CM11 discussion thread where discussions go already, this is in original dev which means it's supposed to be a development thread, if there are no official team members here then there is likely no development going on, I think you missed the point of why there wasn't a thread in the first place.

SlimRoms is a custom android operating system. The main goal is to offer users a slimmed down but still feature rich alternative to other android operating systems.
The entire SlimTeam work together to bring you this tailor-made beauty straight from Android Open Source Project (AOSP) source code.
All of the sources can be publicly viewed through GitHub and you can stop by the public Gerrit to submit patches of any type.
SlimLP is currently in alpha / beta stage, some custom features are already in place, but much much more is planned for the future.

It's based on upstream SlimLP sources + tweaks for CM12 by Nameless
or entirelly based on Nameless sources (a.k.a CM12) ?
I'm asking because I have the nasty "i can't hear the contact calling me" bug in dialer in CM (11 and 12).

We might go official if current bugs are ironed out, and if Slim team aproves my request as we need to split current kernel sources for smdk4412 devices and only use Nameless kernel source for I9300.
Do the current Archi/Arter/Boeffla kernels for LP work on current ROM ?

IMPORTANT INFORMATIONS
For complete installation instructions click here.
Root is now disabled by default on CyanogenMod 13. To enable it go to Settings>Developer Options>Root access and set to Apps only or Apps and ADB.
CyanogenMod 13 comes with Cyanogen Recovery by default, if you don't like it you can flash alternative recoveries using IsoRec.
If you get an error message when flashing GApps you're probably running out of space in your /system partition. It is recommended to have 1GB to fit the ROM and the GApps ( The stock partition table has 512mb for /system). This thread has a good guide for repartitioning and this one has a great tool for repartitioning without Odin.
If you're interested in BLN, check this thread for a complete support of this feature.

Hi Bacon Community!
Let's keep this short and simple...
I will be regularly building and uploading OmniRom 6.0 and Slim6 builds to this thread.
OmniRom is built with stock Omni trees.
Slim6 is built with Sultanxda's CAF based trees.
Optimized with JustArchi's ArchiDroid Optimizations V4.1 - Unleash the power!

When reporting bugs, please state which ROM it is, the build date, and what GApps!

GApps
I recommend using OpenGApps or SlimGApps. Other GApps are untested by me so check the thread before complaining about bootloops!
I will probably be adding small features like Viper4Android, SnapdragonCamera, etc. in future builds, but don't ask when because you won't get an answer!

The very first Omni build is up! This one uses completely stock sources with no modifications at all. Sadly, I will not be able to provide changelogs for every build at the moment because it will just take waaay too long. The ROM is very, very fast and the ColorOS camera k2 works great ?
Tnx @YoshiShaPow ??
Any chance getting the gesture typing work with omni builds? I never install GAPPS, but with slim 5 gesture typing worked fine. Sometimes the solution was to copy approriate ljn_latinimegoogle.so file into /system/lib folder, but it doesn't help with omni 6.
What to do? Typing without gesture typing is really slow. Installing privacy pervasive GAPPS is out of question, nor installing any apks.
Thank you already in advance!

What GApps are you using?
I have read the full OP, and I know that you're currently building unmodified Omni source. Does this mean that at this stage, your build, and herna's are the same? Do you plan to add your own modifications, or just continue to build from source? Sorry for the newbie question. I hate to pollute development threads.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think Herna's source is slightly modified (I know he builds SnapdragonCamera rather than the stock camera app). Other than that, it's pretty much the same. I will be adding things later on.

The only bug I've found so far is that NFC doesn't work, but it's not really a bug. Omni is implementing some magical NFC changes so it will be fixed soon.
Will the Slim6 builds be CAF based?

You should at least try to read the first post, which I'm pretty sure you haven't.

Hello
I have created this rom using the Lineage sources. I don't have too much knowledge in how the rom is developed so perhaps I won't be able to solve all your questions.
Please let me know if you have any issue.

Features
Click for feature list (helps shorten the OP.)
Always Have a full functional Backup. Just in case!
DOWNLOAD ROM
GAPPS: DOWNLOAD GAPPS
First time installing crDroid to your google pixel, or coming from another ROM:
** Make sure you're running a proper working Recovery (CWM or TWRP)
1) Install stock rom
2) Copy crDroid zip, gapps zip to your device
3) Boot into Recovery
4) Wipe everything but internal storage
5) Flash ROM
6) Flash gapps
7) Boot up
For root, AFTER you boot into the ROM, you can go back to recovery and install Magisk XX.x (whatever is most recent).
Upgrading from earlier version of crDroid:
The only difference between clean flash as above and upgrading is you just wipe system & cache, leaving data. Everything else is the same. ***Remember to always clean flash before reporting problems. Clean flashing is always the best method of ROM install.

You forgot device tree and you have to include crdroids source code instead of the lineageos one
