If you are not a CM team member, shouldn't this go in the non-original development thread since you are just building from their source?

if there is no official team member is something we never get anything, stop this nonsense and let's keep it cozy in this toppic. If we start so I just close it and hope you stay until an official team member opens slightly. I just started this toppic because there is need.

There isn't need, there is a CM11 discussion thread where discussions go already, this is in original dev which means it's supposed to be a development thread, if there are no official team members here then there is likely no development going on, I think you missed the point of why there wasn't a thread in the first place.

If I've understood the OP, this is a thread to discuss the official CM 11 release, not a custom ROM based on CyanogenMod. The existing discussion was in the 10.2 thread.

This thread has links to CyanogenMod website where the ROM is originally posted, as the OP did not build this ROM thread is closed with links removed. Please wait for a CyanogenMod developer to release the build on XDA.

Like a boss.
Anyone know where I can get themed or inverted gapps for CM7?
congrats man! you deserved. If need any help, feel free to ask
Congrats.
I installed the rom, and for some reason my contacts won't show up. I've added them from my google account, and that didn't work, so I added them from an export I had on the sd card and still nothing. Any suggestions.
The contacts updated. I was wondering if there is a way to get the blur email app on here. I like the style of the blur app. It's convenient when you want to send an email that the compose button is right on the initial opening of the email. You don't have to hit the setting button to pick compose.
Since this is a brand new thread, I'll be nice.
No feature requests, and especially not Blur integration requests, are to be on this thread. This is pure CM7, no more, no less. This is not a custom BLUR rom distribution, and this is especially not a support thread.
Tl;dr: no.
Thanks understood
So, any major differences between this version of CM7 and the one cougar is working on?

I don't feel my time would be well-spent on writing patches for a system that runs at BEST with heavy hacks, at worst with heavy UGLY hacks, and you can add to that the fact that there's features I want to bake in CM7 that i need to concentrate on, such as a unified settings-integrated protocol switcher (CDMA/CDMA+GSM/GSM Only/Whatever the f else).
Right now, spreading myself on two different tasks would be at best not useful, since I have some difficulties focusing on tasks as it is.
But don't worry. I promise to try my hand at the cold dessert as soon as nVidia and Sprint/UScc release/leak ICS-fully-compatible binary blobs for the sunfire. I mean, I _did_ make it run some months ago. It just was as useful as a baby that just learned to walk: all over everywhere and soo f'in cool, yet not exactly useful because there's so many parts missing it's not even funny (for example, speech in a baby's case, and audio in the Sunfire's case)
pure CM7 is the way to go! i hate tweaked out and themed roms.
Everytime I reboot the phone I forget to ok the com.android.phone fc. Once I realized it my phone blew up with texts and missed calls from the wife, basically berating me for hacking my phone...lol. I told her she's missing out, and she told me I'm missing out on her trying to call me, which is the point of having a phone. She's not sold yet, but I'm sure I will soon. Thanks for the hard work.

Support
We spend an astonishing amount of time developing this software. We can't spend much time on XDA as a result, so if you need support, please try the following:
1) Search. Search, search, search. Yes, you. I don't care how unique or important your question is, it's very likely someone has adressed it already. Especially if you're even close to new at this.
2) Read our FAQ, which can be found on our goo.im page linked above. It's new, but expanding fast. Just like us!
3) Ask a question in your device forum. Someone will no doubt try to help you. Warning: this help may come in the form of telling you it's a dumb question that has been asked before. See step 1 - such are the perils of asking questions when you haven't done the research yourself. Android is about helping yourself.
4) Ask a question on our IRC channel. Connect to #teamcarbon on irc.freenode.net or click here. You'll find several other Carbon fans and usually one or more devs as well. Please be polite.

Your support means the world to us! If you've enjoyed Carbon, please consider a donation toward this goal. Thank you, and we hope you continue to enjoy Carbon!

You guys get all the good sh*t.. lol.. Definitely a lotta jealous..
As I see this has ribbons and appwindow, right, cause the appwindow coding doesen't play good with the xposed framework and I really can't live without xprivacy and a few other mods. or did they make them work together?
EDIT: Also can someone test if installing the xposed framework makes the startup of systemui take a lot, cause I really don't want to have to restore all my 600+ apps using titanium after flashing the rom and seeing it does?
EDIT2: Ended up testing it anyway and no problem, so I can say I am happy to see this and great rom.
One of the screenshots show 2 users. Multi-user works?
I never thought that I will see one day a ROM with more features than AOKP and very good also

ahh sorry i mis-read your other post
Just as a note about the diff between CM10.1 and AOSP ramdisks
The problem is only the dalvik that CM10.1 uses
so as soon as the rom uses the CM10.1 dalvik you MUST
use a CM10.1 ramdisk.

It's easy.
Official CM is atm most Aosp only a few things are from caf but nothing kernel relevant , you can use any aosp kernel with official CyanogenMod 12 also chaos Aosp kernel, this one http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2918578.
Builds from Fluxi are Caf, don't work with aosp kernel but not relevant in this thread.

Do not donate to me, all credit goes to the amazing developers @arter97 @tdcfpp @sktjdgns1189 who without we would have none of this.
Visit there thread for development news and discussion.

NOTE
Your warranty is now void.
I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,
thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please
do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM
before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if
you point the finger at me for messing up your device, I will laugh at you. Hard. A lot.
I REPEAT I DO NOT TAKE CREDIT FOR THIS!

Yeah but they can't edit the OP. Most people only read the OP/Title for updates.
And there isn't any rule to this as I've seen multiple threads of the same CM on for example the Nexus 5. If developers don't want this to happen, close the sources other than kernel(And there is even a resurrection ROM already lol)

People who're interested in continuous updates will follow thread's reply posts as well.
Nexus 5 had CM stable on day 1. We don't.
We don't care other developers releasing ROMs. What we do care is releasing something duplicate and confusing the forum.
And, we don't even support Edge yet. This thread is misleading.
And 2, writing my name in the title instead of sktjdgns1189, who is clearly the most major contributor on this project, is the same as giving a big middle finger.
You're free to do whatever with our sources. Just keep in mind all of the contributors won't be smiling over this.

Yeah but they(OP as example) don't check that kinda stuff. All they see is a sources of a ROM and the chance to profit from free "publicity"
I'll just post this here aswell then :

Oh god.
To all Kangers/ROM builders around that want to port their favorite ultra kanged ROM based on this pre pre pre alpha, don't do so.
At least show respect for the developers and wait for a finale and fully stable release to release this kind of stuff.
It'll bring more confusion than anything else.

To make a long story short, this doen't make any point at all to build this now, or to have threads like this one at the moment.
Delet e this post please. What is going one with people? They can't read anymore?

LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 7.1.1 (Nougat), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.

LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. You will need to provide your own Google Applications package (gapps). LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
All the source code forLineageOS is available in theLineageOS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit our Gerrit Code Review.

It's all appreciations (& those who can afford please donate) as a kind of motivation to our developers & contributors for their hard work and dedication towards the development of this ROM.

Qualcomm Fast Charging is enabled
If you want fast charging trough the USB then you flash the Team M8 kernel or the whole build in the CM 14 unofficial section.

Logcat
I need the main developer of this ROM to look at this logcat i have for the Bluetooth problem i'am having. It's not wanting to connect to car head unit to make phone calls and it won't connect to two Bluetooth devices at once. It's a long logcat but you will see the connects and dissconnects at the bottom of the logcat and work your way up. Really want to run this ROM as a daily driver, if anybody that's connected to development of this ROM can look at it, it would be much appreciated.
