Like a boss.

Anyone know where I can get themed or inverted gapps for CM7?

congrats man! you deserved. If need any help, feel free to ask

Congrats.
I installed the rom, and for some reason my contacts won't show up. I've added them from my google account, and that didn't work, so I added them from an export I had on the sd card and still nothing. Any suggestions.

The contacts updated. I was wondering if there is a way to get the blur email app on here. I like the style of the blur app. It's convenient when you want to send an email that the compose button is right on the initial opening of the email. You don't have to hit the setting button to pick compose.

Since this is a brand new thread, I'll be nice.
No feature requests, and especially not Blur integration requests, are to be on this thread. This is pure CM7, no more, no less. This is not a custom BLUR rom distribution, and this is especially not a support thread.
Tl;dr: no.

Thanks understood

So, any major differences between this version of CM7 and the one cougar is working on?

Just curious.
Will you be doing a cm9 now? You and cougarcougar have done such a great job on your solo builds of cm7 I can't wait to see a cm9 from you

I don't feel my time would be well-spent on writing patches for a system that runs at BEST with heavy hacks, at worst with heavy UGLY hacks, and you can add to that the fact that there's features I want to bake in CM7 that i need to concentrate on, such as a unified settings-integrated protocol switcher (CDMA/CDMA+GSM/GSM Only/Whatever the f else).
Right now, spreading myself on two different tasks would be at best not useful, since I have some difficulties focusing on tasks as it is.
But don't worry. I promise to try my hand at the cold dessert as soon as nVidia and Sprint/UScc release/leak ICS-fully-compatible binary blobs for the sunfire. I mean, I _did_ make it run some months ago. It just was as useful as a baby that just learned to walk: all over everywhere and soo f'in cool, yet not exactly useful because there's so many parts missing it's not even funny (for example, speech in a baby's case, and audio in the Sunfire's case)

pure CM7 is the way to go! i hate tweaked out and themed roms.

Everytime I reboot the phone I forget to ok the com.android.phone fc. Once I realized it my phone blew up with texts and missed calls from the wife, basically berating me for hacking my phone...lol. I told her she's missing out, and she told me I'm missing out on her trying to call me, which is the point of having a phone. She's not sold yet, but I'm sure I will soon. Thanks for the hard work.

CM7 7.1.0, JT 9/28 [OC-1300, no UV - cfq/ondemand], supercharged, adrenaline VXXX SC.
Edit: I'm hitting around 3800 consistantly... I know quadrant isn't a crazy accurate benchmark or anything, but DAMN! =D

This rules. I've been running the Nightlies with no real issues, but this is just amazing.
i toyed around with this earlier today. Everything was fantastic. GPS locked in seconds, phone was fast, data/wifi worked, camera worked. The only exception is that I could not receive any incoming sms/mms. It was not until i did a factory reset did I receive my sms/mms. This was, of course, after i did *228 activation. Can anyone who is familiar with the nightlies possibly shed some light on my issue?
very tempting. 2.3.4 has treated me so well...
I jumped on this this morning, came from VGB with Glitch. Very smooth and stable. Im seeing better battery life from jt's kernel despite not UVing quite as much as I did with Glitch. I'm sure I'll try it with Glitch eventually but as is its a terrific package as is. Fantastic work by jt and the CM crew
What's the difference between this and the nightlies?

power off odin cwmall. tar
threefinger into recovery and flash su2.3.x root file then reboot
power off odin cwm4
three finger into recovery and flash cm7.1.0 zip
any other way would not work correctly for me. The phone must be rooted before you flash cm7.
flashing right now, very excited

Does CM 7 do away with the idiot media scanner, or is this just a basic fact of life with the Fascinate? Thinking I may try this. Also, which Clockwork Mod is needed?

YAY!!!!! good work!
Your hard work is much appreciated. I sent y'all some beer money.
I thought people were having trouble with Clockworkmod on the N1; however, I see it is the recovery mentioned in the 7.1 OP. Is the recovery-clockwork-3.0.0.5-passion.img version stable again? I've been using AmonRa 2.2.1 since I saw so many people complain but I haven't tried a Clockworkmod version in a while. What are the benefits of the current versions of Clockworkmod on the N1?
I think there are still issues--AR has never failed me

CM files are getting bigger and bigger. Good ideas to clean out some system space. Another good alternative is S2E. Its an app that does pretty much what DT script does. I switch over to it a while back and its great plus its not on system space.
I just upgraded to CM 7.1 from CM 6, and I am having issues with the market. I can't download anything; every time I try I get a popup that says "This app was unable to be downloaded due to an error." Does anyone know how to fix it? I have an AT&T Nexus One if that helps.
Having an issue with WIFI. It just not finding any networks. It is fixed (temporarily, until the next reboot) by executing
Code:
> su
> ifconfig eth0 up
No problems on my N1. Thanks to the entire team for their continued hard work and service to the Android community. You guys rock!

It seems that clockworkmod has been problematic from v3.x on (including the later v5.x). I have been happily running 2.5.1.1 (and others using 2.5.1.4) without any issues. Either stick with Amon_RA or downgrade to a v2.x of clockworkmod.

Yup. It's finally here. CM11 with basically everything* working.
*Working:
Pretty much everything:
2G/3G/LTE (no Roaming bug)
Camera (back and front-facing and LED flash, no 4K recording as it's not in CM yet)
Sound
Bluetooth Media, Wearable connections (tested with a Moto 360 and JayBird Bluebuds X BT Headset, even at the same time, and it works fine)
Screen (duh)
Proximity, Accelerometer, Gyroscope
SDCard read/write
Not working:
Wireless Charging (it works but it's very, very slow ( @invisiblek pls fix))
Bluetooth Calls (Media works perfectly fine, and even when connected with a wearable, but BT calls don't work (sound comes through, but people cannot hear you))
"GPS is a little derpy" - @invisiblek 2014 (you'll get a lock, but it'll probably take you a little bit)
Installation Instructions:
*NOTE*: You must be Bump'd for this to work. This requires flashing via custom recovery.
1. Download this and GApps (recommended PA GApps here)
2. Put both on Internal Storage
3. Reboot into recovery
4. BACKUP CURRENT ROM
5. Factory Reset/Wipe
6. Flash CM11 (no need to wipe System)
7. Flash GApps
8. Reboot
9. ???
10. Profit
Download: here (new builds will also show up in there)
Please note that I'm not the official maintainer ( @invisiblek is). I take absolutely no credit other than getting him off his ass to fix stuff. Everything is his and the CM team's work (and whoever helped him).

Awesome thanks devs! Until the Bluetooth bug gets fixed I cant use it since I use BT all day. But does this use the laser autofocus on the camera?

DEVICE DISCLAIMER:
I DON'T OWN THE DEVICE. TESTING ON THE SPECIFIC DEVICE WILL BE LIMITED TO TESTERS
Krexus was born out of a simple necessity. The latest releases of stock Android (namely lollipop and marshmallow) were pretty close to my idea of a perfect android ROM, yet missing some elements, which are meant to be included in stock Android, at least for me. Starting from a clean AOSP environment, only specific features and fixes are included, which are personally tested ON HAMMERHEAD, with one goal in mind. To create a stock like android ROM, "as it should be".
This means, and I mean it, a ROM like how stock nexus image should be, for me.
This isn't going to get bloated. Most UI "features" are already there.
This isn't going to start picking commits relentlessly, I will test them personally and only add things that 1) work like they should 2) would fit in a stock ROM.
This isn't going to be updated very quickly. Only security and bug fixes will be pushed out ASAP.
This is going to follow Google's & AOSP guidelines as closely as I can.
And lastly, this is first and foremost a ROM about Nexus 5 (hammerhead). This is my personal device, this is where I test the ROM. angler, bullhead, flo, mako, SHAMU builds are provided AS-IS. With that in mind, I have to say that the google+ community has been flashing shamu builds for a looong time and hasn't come up with anything, so I thought I'd share it here, too.
That said, welcome aboard!

PS:dirty flash was not possible....i had to do a full wipe.....dalvik/system/data and cache
i've tried dirty ,after that it was not possible to pull down the QS panel, and also i've lost the developer options.....it poped up ...."it's not available for this device"
weird but after full wipe ,all works as expected
thanks a lot

thanks a lot mate....
but now it's too late
i did a clean flash:good:
@KreAch3R I'm glad you left the double tap to wake feature in. To be honest, I like this feature when it is automatically included in the ROM rather than have to try and either find a custom kernel or use kernel auditor.
The double tap to wake is working very well with this build. Last build did not work as well

Yes, of course, it's an AOSP source built ROM.

That was the reason I wanted to leave it in, too. Krexus tries to never deviate from stock, only fix/include necessary stuff. I'm glad it works well now, it seems that I was missing some commits on the device tree, but I found them after @BeansTown106 let me know about them.
This is one of the best stock rooted ROMs out and runs great. Thank you for bringing it to us here on XDA.

Hi George-
I saw your changelog update and I didn't understand, can you explain how to use tasker for turning on the LED or modifying the color ?
Krexus/Despair is a lovely combo - giving it a spin now!

LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 7.1.2 (Nougat), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.
Code:
#include
/*
* Your warranty is now void.
*
* We are not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,
* thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please
* do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM
* before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if
* you point the finger at us for messing up your device, we will laugh at you.
*
*/
LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. You will need to provide your own Google Applications package (gapps). LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
All the source code for Lineage OS is available in the LineageOS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to Lineage OS, please visit our Gerrit Code Review. Your changelog is whatever was merged into gerrit.

Quick question: i have installed both HTC camera and gallery from the Google Play Store, but for an odd reason the camera doesn't want to detect the SD Card. The original camera (the old one that was on stock sense) doesn't give the prompt to choose the save location, while the new one (the one from HTC 10) detects the SD but gives an error if i choose to save photos there. Is this a common problem? All the other apps that need access to the sd work flawlessly (like file managers, Spotify, even HTC Gallery)
If you need anything just ask

So you're telling me that there isn't any chance to save photos and videos to sd if i use htc camera?
Guess i have to live with that.. no problem though.
Thanks
I can confirm mhl working from lineage-14.1-20170404-UNOFFICIAL-himaul !
Quick question. Does it take a LOOOONG time for this ROM to initial boot? I flashed it and stays at the boot animation.
I was on the 3.35.617.12 FW so I tried with the 4.27.617.2 FW for Dev/unlocked (from https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1ZaiJ3F_f76sVa4daU5H62OYi5Bj23LEBBv4xDTQ8y-M/pubhtml).
Doesn't seem to boot.
Also if I go into TWRP I get a red message saying "Failed to mount '/carrier' (Invalid Argument)
What FW should I be on? How long is initial boot usually?
THanks!!
