Quick question: i have installed both HTC camera and gallery from the Google Play Store, but for an odd reason the camera doesn't want to detect the SD Card. The original camera (the old one that was on stock sense) doesn't give the prompt to choose the save location, while the new one (the one from HTC 10) detects the SD but gives an error if i choose to save photos there. Is this a common problem? All the other apps that need access to the sd work flawlessly (like file managers, Spotify, even HTC Gallery)
If you need anything just ask

So you're telling me that there isn't any chance to save photos and videos to sd if i use htc camera?
Guess i have to live with that.. no problem though.
Thanks

I can confirm mhl working from lineage-14.1-20170404-UNOFFICIAL-himaul !

Quick question. Does it take a LOOOONG time for this ROM to initial boot? I flashed it and stays at the boot animation.
I was on the 3.35.617.12 FW so I tried with the 4.27.617.2 FW for Dev/unlocked (from https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1ZaiJ3F_f76sVa4daU5H62OYi5Bj23LEBBv4xDTQ8y-M/pubhtml).
Doesn't seem to boot.
Also if I go into TWRP I get a red message saying "Failed to mount '/carrier' (Invalid Argument)
What FW should I be on? How long is initial boot usually?
THanks!!

Like a boss.
Anyone know where I can get themed or inverted gapps for CM7?
congrats man! you deserved. If need any help, feel free to ask
Congrats.
I installed the rom, and for some reason my contacts won't show up. I've added them from my google account, and that didn't work, so I added them from an export I had on the sd card and still nothing. Any suggestions.
The contacts updated. I was wondering if there is a way to get the blur email app on here. I like the style of the blur app. It's convenient when you want to send an email that the compose button is right on the initial opening of the email. You don't have to hit the setting button to pick compose.
Since this is a brand new thread, I'll be nice.
No feature requests, and especially not Blur integration requests, are to be on this thread. This is pure CM7, no more, no less. This is not a custom BLUR rom distribution, and this is especially not a support thread.
Tl;dr: no.
Thanks understood
So, any major differences between this version of CM7 and the one cougar is working on?
Just curious.
Will you be doing a cm9 now? You and cougarcougar have done such a great job on your solo builds of cm7 I can't wait to see a cm9 from you

I don't feel my time would be well-spent on writing patches for a system that runs at BEST with heavy hacks, at worst with heavy UGLY hacks, and you can add to that the fact that there's features I want to bake in CM7 that i need to concentrate on, such as a unified settings-integrated protocol switcher (CDMA/CDMA+GSM/GSM Only/Whatever the f else).
Right now, spreading myself on two different tasks would be at best not useful, since I have some difficulties focusing on tasks as it is.
But don't worry. I promise to try my hand at the cold dessert as soon as nVidia and Sprint/UScc release/leak ICS-fully-compatible binary blobs for the sunfire. I mean, I _did_ make it run some months ago. It just was as useful as a baby that just learned to walk: all over everywhere and soo f'in cool, yet not exactly useful because there's so many parts missing it's not even funny (for example, speech in a baby's case, and audio in the Sunfire's case)
pure CM7 is the way to go! i hate tweaked out and themed roms.
Everytime I reboot the phone I forget to ok the com.android.phone fc. Once I realized it my phone blew up with texts and missed calls from the wife, basically berating me for hacking my phone...lol. I told her she's missing out, and she told me I'm missing out on her trying to call me, which is the point of having a phone. She's not sold yet, but I'm sure I will soon. Thanks for the hard work.

Yup. It's finally here. CM11 with basically everything* working.
*Working:
Pretty much everything:
2G/3G/LTE (no Roaming bug)
Camera (back and front-facing and LED flash, no 4K recording as it's not in CM yet)
Sound
Bluetooth Media, Wearable connections (tested with a Moto 360 and JayBird Bluebuds X BT Headset, even at the same time, and it works fine)
Screen (duh)
Proximity, Accelerometer, Gyroscope
SDCard read/write
Not working:
Wireless Charging (it works but it's very, very slow ( @invisiblek pls fix))
Bluetooth Calls (Media works perfectly fine, and even when connected with a wearable, but BT calls don't work (sound comes through, but people cannot hear you))
"GPS is a little derpy" - @invisiblek 2014 (you'll get a lock, but it'll probably take you a little bit)
Installation Instructions:
*NOTE*: You must be Bump'd for this to work. This requires flashing via custom recovery.
1. Download this and GApps (recommended PA GApps here)
2. Put both on Internal Storage
3. Reboot into recovery
4. BACKUP CURRENT ROM
5. Factory Reset/Wipe
6. Flash CM11 (no need to wipe System)
7. Flash GApps
8. Reboot
9. ???
10. Profit
Download: here (new builds will also show up in there)
Please note that I'm not the official maintainer ( @invisiblek is). I take absolutely no credit other than getting him off his ass to fix stuff. Everything is his and the CM team's work (and whoever helped him).

Exactly how derpy is the GPS? Is the delay in getting a signal super long?
After using the LG ui since I got the phone at release, it's ridiculous how smooth this is. Very noticeable difference in performance. Thank you
I've been using cm since my galaxy S! Love the ui simple yet effective. Cm never had let me down.

First Test Report..... SUCCESSFUL
After Testing around with the unofficial build I can whole-heartedly say... good work devs!
We have a working build of CM 11 Running on a VS985
Everything seems to be working, although the dpi / resolution bug that makes the device run/look more like a tablet than a phone (See photos)

Eighteenth!
Okay, I'm a little slow.
Great job @invisiblek and team!
Using it now! Had to get SuperSU like someone suggested and changed the DPI to stock. Looks great. Immediately notice a speed difference
Awesome thanks devs! Until the Bluetooth bug gets fixed I cant use it since I use BT all day. But does this use the laser autofocus on the camera?

This build is designed for the Wifi-only variant (SM-T550) but it will flash and boot on the LTE variant (SM-T555), your tablet will act like a wifi only tablet so you will not have calling, texting, mobile data. In the future, I may make a SM-T555 build that has working telephony but probably not due to me not having one.
What's working:
Wifi
Bluetooth
Sensors
Video
Offline charging
Hardware buttons
What's broken:
GPS is flaky
Camera
Audio
Changelog:
4/18/18
Initial release
For some reason it's not booting on my device if I take the older version from you Android host profile it boots and only audio thorugh the devices speaker isn't working
@Deadman9365 Hi! Could you tell me which TWRP do you use? I found on the web only an UNOFFICIAL one which works only on MM... Could you help me, please? I would like to try this ROM
I have the same problem as user nils_92.
The old "nightly" version (lineage-14.1-20170619-NIGHTLY-gt510wifi) boots, but the new one (Sean_lineage-14.1-20180418-UNOFFICIAL-gt510wifi) does not. Here the device restarts again and again before it has been completely loaded for the first time. Tested with "TWRP-3.1.x-omni-7.1_j16_20170609_gt510wifi" and "TWRP-3.2.1.1-lineage-15.1_j2_20180418_gt510wifi" as recovery
I also tested the recoverys, the flashing of other custom roms for the SM-T550 works fine. So here you can rule out the error. What I haven't tried yet was to leave the device alone and see if it might catch itself again and then boot into the operating system at some point.
I can confirm for the nightly-version that the camera and the sound do not work.
Looking forward to testing the final version.
Is work still being done on this rom? I checked the github but i dont see any recent commits
Title says lineage 14.1 but github link are stating 15.1?
I am looking forward to flashing the next release and getting some more juice out of this tablet
Can I flash it on SM-P550?
I have T550 before; i just trade off for S pen.
New version not booting.
I have tablet (Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7) SM-T550
I do install TWRP 3.1.0.1 with ROM LineageOS 14.1.
1) Use to Wipe Factor Reset
2) Use to install Rom
3) Use to install GApps
4) Reboot
But, its not working (When i start "reboot") > "SAMSUNG GALAXY TAB A 9.7" after "LINEAGEOS" cant open launhcer, its alone off tablet and on again...
Thank you developer and thank you all for not responding me.

Hi @deadman96385 nice to See you Continue working on this tab?. Still got my sm-t555 running so i hope there will be a release for lte Version. Tell me if
i can Test for you again
I'm working in order to keep this device alive, too.
Oreo works and the camera is working in my testbuilds, except for some grainy previews in the camera app.
I'll release a build when the speakers are working. Headphones are working already.
Stay tuned
Audio is working now. Feel free to use my vendor & device tree here @deadman96385. There are still some camera related issues, for instance the bad preview in the stock camera app. Using a different camera app solved this issue for me. Since deadman already supports Lineage OS, I'll build & support AICP. Android Oreo works on the tablet, I hope deadman will switch to the newest version of android soon. If there's some time in the next month I'll try to fix the remaining issues (the camera and SELinux permissive). Maybe I have time to build a SM-T555 version, too. But I don't own this type of tablet, so I would definitely need some testers.

LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. You will need to provide your own Google Applications package (gapps). LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
This thread is for Unofficial LineageOS 15.1 builds for gvwifi (SM-T670). The following will not be supported here:
Custom kernels
Mods
Xposed
I don't support Xposed and any logcat which includes a Xposed module will be ignored. You're kindly invited to not report bugs if you:
Flashed a custom kernel
Installed or did mods from untrusted sources
Modified system files

Before posting in this thread, make sure of a few things:
You used the search function of the forums.
If you are the only one having a problem. Boot into recovery, wipe data/factory reset, reflash the rom/gapps and nothing else. Boot up and see if the problem persists.
Make sure your post is relevant to this thread.

Some tips and tricks:
No touchscreen support, very little of the UI works with the touchscreen so to setup and use the device you will need a Bluetooth controller/remote personally I am using an Xbox Controller that has Bluetooth but I have also confirmed that the nexus player remote works as well. Pretty much anything that has buttons will work.
Due to the light sensor not working I would recommend you use UnderBurn from the google play store in its place it works very well you will need to launch it through something like ChainFire's great Sideload Launcher (as the lineage AppDrawer/LineageCustomizer apps aren't ready for the new Oreo LeanbackLauncher format yet.
Netflix and Google Play Movies both fail because L1 is broken. Due to some apps not being able to fallback to L3 when L1 fails, You could sideload the phone/tablet version of Netflix (which uses L3, but is limited to 720p), and launch it through something like ChainFire's great Sideload Launcher (as the lineage AppDrawer/LineageCustomizer apps aren't ready for the new Oreo LeanbackLauncher format yet.
Casting to the tablet from another phone/tablet does not work due to restrictions put in place by google for casting to work it needs special keys in the keybox that are justly only provisioned on atv devices. So unless i can find a way to hack around it they will never work.
Screenshots/Pictures:
Sorry for the bad picture
You made the front page.
https://www.xda-developers.com/samsung-galaxy-view-android-tv-port/
You should change the DPI to 320 (= same as 1080p tv) or maybe 280
If we had another android tv device can the keys be copied to get casting to work?
Hi I have an SM-T670 and I haven't been able to get this version of the OS installed on my Galaxy View. I've tried installing it from the bootloader off of an SD Card, as well as using adb to try to push it. Neither have worked. I've also looked at using the Lineage downloader, TWRP app, Tether and ROM Manager and haven't found a recovery that is compatible with this particular hardware. Could you provide some guidance about the best way to perform this installation? Thanks in advance! -Adam
Hi, I am a user of shield tablet so I couldn't enjoy your development... But I'm interested in your work since our device also have LineageOS and I think it's not impossible to change my tablet into shield tv! So if it's not rude, can you teach me what you changed from the original LineageOS source? Thnx
(Sorry for my bad English)
I don't plan to continue development of this, it was really just for fun. Maybe i'll do a pie one as well.

All the source code for LineageOS is available in the LineageOS GitHub organization. And if you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit our Gerrit Code Review. You can also view the changelog for a full list of changes & features.
Compatibility notes:
You MUST be on Android 9 stock ROM before flashing this. (Most of you are on it already anyway.)
This ROM is entirely untested on the SM-T385.
Based on previous projects floating around on this forum, the ROM can be flashed but will not have cellular support.
I will NOT add cellular support to this ROM. I only have the Wi-Fi only tablet, and that is all I am going to work with.
Boot can take about a minute because Samsh*t's camera blobs are rather unstable and it takes it a minute to load up.
Things that do not work at the moment:
Offline charging is unsupported at the moment. Will be fixed soon, but for now don't bother with charging while powered off.
Reboot to recovery is totally broken. I have no idea why this is. It's being looked into.
Adoptable storage is not working.
Instructions:
Update to the latest version of Android 9 for this tablet. It doesn't matter how you do it, be it system updater or with Odin. Just get it on the latest version.
Install a custom recovery of any sort.
TWRP exists here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/3747564/
LineageOS recovery coming soon
Format the data partition. That is, on TWRP, the Format Data option (not to be confused with Wipe data)
Install the ROM like you would anything else in TWRP.
Do NOT enable "Update Lineage Recovery alongside the OS" for now.

Changelog:
20230310:
- Initial, rather broken release
- Things are ok-ish, it's selinux enforcing and all
20230408:
- Fixed sensors. Rotation working.
- Removed auto-brightness. Apparently this tablet just straight up does not have auto-brightness sensor, so I cannot support it.
- LineageOS recovery works.
reserved:tm:
Thank you!
- N3RDP0RT4L
Current Issues:
1. No functional SD support. The format menu shows, but after formatting the OS will not read the card when inserted.
2. Auto brightness does not work even when it is turned on.
3. Rotation support for any UI menu doesn't work out of the box.
Note:
NTFS is supported out of the box, when tested on a USB HDD reader on a dock.
Updater process ended with ERROR: 255 when installing .zip
... I just used Google better ... let me see. I'm relatively new at this, but I was able to build.
Thank you so much for your work! I've had this device for years and I haven't seen a single custom ROM for the T380 until now. I'm excited to watch this project evolve.
I'm surprised no one has tried Austin's. "ishitos" it's a really nice debloated stock ROM. It installed for Austin.
Anyone on stock know whether adb reboot recovery actually works there?

Confirmed it works.
Thanks for this! I was literally going to post for sale the day you posted and just did a quick search and found it.
Installed over the weekend. Looks like almost everything works... BUT I'm getting a DRM issue and no video plays (Youtube, Newpipe, Freetube, Reddit video, etc...). Going to try reinstalling. LMK if there is a setting or something you think I'm missing that causes the issue.

You could of used Austin's stock ROM edit; "iShitOS". It's really fast.

....this is post is for discussing LineageOS on the T380, the developer intends to improve it. It's really weird that you keep telling people to use a different ROM instead, kinda disrespectful towards the dev tbh.

I'd recommend it when the ROM is unstable, and incomplete. I know the Dev.
I recommend having a failsafe incase something is up with the ROM as well. I'm very glad to have lineageos available on the device.
While I agree that this ROM kind of isn't in the best shape, I do think that you should keep iSh*tOS to its own forum thread, or make one if it does not exist. If people need some other ROM they can find it themselves.
Sorry, I haven't worked on this tablet in a hot moment, a lot of other things got busy, I got sick and the moment I recovered I have two exams and an interview back-to-back. That being said, a number of things are fixed, notably the sensor drivers. Adoptable storage is an easy fix that I just haven't tested yet, but the real problem is the recovery reboot shenanigan, I suppose.
Ok
iSh1tOS is my project yes and it can be found in my rooting guide/treads. This thread is only for lineageOS 18 on the SM-T380.
New build: 20230408

- Fixed sensors. Rotation working.
- Removed auto-brightness. Apparently this tablet just straight up does not have auto-brightness sensor, so I cannot support it.
- LineageOS recovery works.
Reboot-2-recovery is still broken. I kind of don't understand why at this point, but I'll keep digging.
Note that security patches are still on March. Google has not released a security patch for April at this time.
