All you need to know is here. Basically, you can't root KitKat directly. You need to revert to JB, install CWM, then return to KK.

Only proper way to get root on stock KK rom is: http://forum.xda-developers.com/optimus-l3-l5-l7-l9-ii/development/kk-kk-kdz-p710-root-t2950532
If you need kdz for different country/provider, just ask.

You can't change the rom until someone finds a way to root that firmware, or unless you downgrade your firmware to a previous version.

Nope.
I had v10n and z4root failed to root it. I flashed my phone with v10b using KDZ updater and then z4root worked. Here you will find the tutorial. Make sure you also have LG drivers installed.
Good luck!

Try framaroot with gandalf explit, with V10D ROM version for your P713.
From V10E to up, maby Vroot works.
For my P710, framaroot works again vith V10J...
Good luck!
Did you try Kingo Android root? Worked great for me (although I still have V10a ROM).

[Q] LG Optimus L7 II Rooting Help (v20A)

First of all: My english is a lil' bit bad, so sorry for that.
So yea.. I need help. I can't root my LG Optimus L7 II with the firmware
v20A (Android 4.4.2 Kitkat). I think, i should tell you the history of my
phone first: As i got my phone, it had a firmware-version with Android
4.1.2 which I rooted with.. Framaroot i think. Then I flashed cyanogenmod 11.
And i lost my root T.T. Cyanogenmod had many lags, bugs etc. So i tried to flash
Android 4.1.2 with the LG-Update tool. After that my phone didn't start anymore.
My father sent it to the LG-Repair center and i got my phone back with Android
4.4.2. (v20A). I tried to root it a several times (framaroot, towelroot, easyroot..) but it
didn't work. Anyone who can help me?
Some people told me that now this app (former vRoot) can root on Kitkat firmwares (yes, it is a 1-clic root app). Maybe it could help you. If not... have you tried flashing an already rooted KDZ file?
If I wanted a rooted phone with Kitkat and a custom recovery... then I'd flash one of maxx_hr's KDZ. Just use his KDZ and LG Flash Tool (not any other LG tool) and you're good to go
Thank you!
I flashed a pre-rooted ROM by max_hrr 1-2 weeks ago
and it works for me. I have full root access now! Thank you
for helping me

That's great. I used the kdz for Mexico and the results were amazing. Stock firmware, no modifications, rooted, with custom recovery, all in just a few clics. What model of L7II do you have?
Have you seen that now the CyanogenMod 10.2 is going to be the best rom for our LG L7II devices? If not I'd recommend you to have a look at it.
Have a nice day!
Thank you II

After you flash my kdz, and check it works, turn off device, boot to recovery (TWRP), and flash upgrade-supersu from: https://download.chainfire.eu/696/SuperSU .
That's all.

Hello,
If I flash the phone with http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=56986151&postcount=2 ROM, it will be automatically rooted?
If the phone is rooted, does that mean that I can uninstal some system applications that I don't need?

Yes, you can uninstall system apps you don't need. But in order to root your phone you have to download a .zip version of SuperSU and flash it in the recovery mode. I done the same with my P710 and everything went well, so you don't have to worry

[Q] How can i root LG G2 MINI 5.0.2?

Hello guys!
Having recently updated a lollipop my LG G2 Mini D620 LTE no brand with KDZ file available on the network, I was wondering if you could do a root on the device to be able to uninstall any application annoying and increase processor speed "1.2 Ghz- -> 1.4 Ghz"
Also, I would prefer not to use the apk KIngroot because reading, I noticed that send some sensitive data on your smartphone in a remote server ...
Thanking you in advance, I offer a warm greeting!
Kingroot is the only method who worked for me so far.
And a simple root app can't overclock the CPU. You need a custom kernel. Bootloader and recovery work for Lollipop, but there still isn't any kernel compatible with that release. Give the developers some time.

No, it's a different aboot. Some developers told about it in the Lollipop thread, in the next days Zaaap72 will publish the guide to unlock bootloader in Lollipop.
