Hi all
I have a question.
I am looking for a good mp3 player that will work with my Bluetooth headphones. For now all player that I found can't be controlled well. Here is what I'm talking about; 1). If I get a phone call music does not stop playing and people who I'm talking with tell me that there is a noise. 2). Next track don't work by pressing one of the buttons. What I'm looking for is a player (I hope it's a player not this build) that will stop music on its own when I get incoming call. When I hit forward button it goes to the next song or back when I hit back button. When I hold down next button --- it would fast forward…
Is there something like that out? Or is it in the build?
Thanks. I appreciate the look and response

Hi all,
Is it correct that the standard in the box X10 earphones do not play/pause music (can't link to images apperantly, but they can be see via this link (just put the www in front of it): mobilyz.com/wp-content/uploads/Sony-Experia-X10_Mobilyz_19.jpg)? They cán be used to pick up/hang up calls, but that's is. Interesting though that when longpressing the button on the dongle while playing back music does light op the hardwarebuttons led, so contact is being made with the phone, but nothing more happens.
Dying to get the MW-600 earphones, although I read on this forum that they have some difficulties with playing back music as well....
Cheers.
I use bTunes as my music player software, and it recognizes the button on the mic dongle for playing/pausing, though it's a bit finicky.
Thanx, will give it a try...
I recently changed my ROM to Cloudy, everythings going great apart from one issue, not sure if it's ROM related or not.
Pressing buttons on the standard headset brings up WMP, even if I'm already listening to music on Sense music player, makes a bit of a mokry having to take my phone out to skip tracks.
I've searched just about every term I can think of to see if anyone else as had this problem and finally gave up to ask the experts.
Anyone able to throw any light on how to make it work again?
Ok, I've searched on google for a hour, but everyone else is having issues playing music when pushing the power button. My issue is that music stops playing, period. I'll leave my phone playing music, (screen on or off) but music stops playing. WMP, TCPMP, doesn't matter. The music bar is still going, but no sound is coming from my phone. Sometimes it's after one song, sometimes it's after several. I've flashed different roms, even one I cooked myself, same issue. I have to soft reset to get music playback working again, but after a few songs the sound goes out again. The weird part is that the sound works for all other programs or when I'm using BT headset. Example: WMP sound goes out while playing a song, I close WMP and open TCPMP, no sound either, but Need for Speed Shift sounds just fine, and the BT headset works too! WTF?! Does anyone have a solution?
Thanks in advance!!!
P.S
Not sure if I'm even posting this in the right place. If so, then I apologize. Help me get this post to someone who can assist with this problem. I can't be the only one who's seen this issue.
Well dude I have the same problem. It seems your post is too old and noone is going to anwser you. I do apologize I will make new thread and I hope you've already solved your problem.
In my Toyota Avensis 2010, I paired my SGS2 to it's bluetooth audio system. Everything works great except this really annoying thing, where everytime the music stops for any reason, the track starts from the beginning again. If i press pause on the car"s controls, when i wanna resume, the track restarts (defeating the whole idea of a pause button), if I make a call, the track restarts, if the car is in acc mode and the start the engine, the track restarts. Really annoying. My Xperia X10 did not do this, and neither does my bold 9900. I use the stock player, on stock rom, 2.3.5. This doesn"t happen with poweramp, but then i don't like the fact that power amp does not transmit audio information.
Thanks in advance.
Try another player. Winamp, maybe?
Yes it is the problem with stock player.
Try using this:

It works fine with me.
So the problem is as basic as the thread title suggests.. Does anyone have a solution for this? I am using the default inbuilt native Music Player app..
I am not majorly fussed about this problem over the headset as I normally have a button on the headset.. But the problem does arise when I am using the Aux wire option in my Car..
But the problem arises when I connect to Bluetooth in my Car daily.. I am listening to music and in the middle of a track I get a call.. As soon as the call ends most phone resume the music from exactly where it left off.. but in my case the music refuses to start again and my car stereo has no capability to force the music to play from the phone where it was last playing.. So the only solution for me is to press my SRC (Source) button on my system in my car and then it will basically force a restart on the music player in my phone which will restart the song that I was listening to.. Normally that wouldn't be a problem but I listen to many huge 1-2 hr long sets of music and the whole flow gets disrupted if I have to listen to it from the start again.. Moreover its a pain to try and get it back to where it was to begin with.. I don't understand why Samsung have made this option so difficult.. They can easily have an option either way each user prefers.. A simple setting like Resume music after call Yes or No!
Anyway I just want a solution to this situation.. I use tasker too if that helps but I am an absolute basic user.. Any kind of solution will do really... Although I am a bit of a newbie to all this I am willing to learn and figure it out.. Also I want to remain on the Stock Rom that I am using.. Thanks in Advance..
Anyone? Help?
