[SOLVED] PC freezing while using SP flash tools - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

My phone is lava iris 455(MTK6577 chipset). So, I put a custom ROM yesterday, but it was laggy so I decided to go back to stock. I had CWM recovery installed. I used SP flash tools to flash the original ROM,but after a purple bar came, the PC just froze. Everytime, the same thing happened.
After using the latest version of SP FLash tools, I could get only the preloader and DSP_BL installed. However, whenever, I am trying to install anything else, PC is freezing at Downloading Flash and stuck at 0%.
Is this a problem with the drivers? I tried every possible way to install them after removing them with USBdeview. The phone does keep connecting and disconnecting always(I can understand by the sound). I am using Windows 7. Any advice?

[Q] Hard-Bricked Gionee p2 by formatting flash

Hi All
I installed a custom ROM but it was getting stuck in boot screen ,so i did a auto format flash which deleted all the data in the phone flash including bootloader using SP flash tool v3.1312.0.139 .
As I disconnected the phone from PC it got hard-bricked. Even if i connect to PC, SP flash tool is not able to recognize the gionee p2 so I cant do any thing .
can't switch on the phone and not getting recognized in PC
Is there a way to fix it or to send the rom data to the phone flash ?

of course it'll go dead. you just removed the OS without replacing with anything. you'll either need to get the stock backup or backup a working phone using MTK droid tools then re-flash the stock backup

Archos 40 Titanium: Enable_Dram_Failed error

Hello guys.
I have a problem with my phone. It's an Archos 40 Titanium (neither model c or model b).
I flashed recently the rom of Wiko Sunset which is a KitKat rom. I thought it would be fine as wiko sunset has really similar features to my phone. Before I flashed that rom, I made a backup with SP Flash tool.
The problem now is that I can't flash the backup back. I get always Error 4032: Enable_DRAM_Failed. I've tried different versions of SP Flash Tool and drivers (MTK USB and VCOM drivers). I've followed many "guides" that I found on different websites (eg. to flash the preloader of the stock rom without having the battery in the phone etc), but unfortunatelly I get still the same error.
It's maybe worth mentioning that if I connect the phone without the battery and by pusshing VOL+ and power buttons then it connects but after 4-5 seconds it disconnects. If I do the same with the battery on, then it doesn't disconnect.
I am running Windows 7 x64 and Linux through dual boot.
I would be greatful if you guys could help me.
If you need any more info, you can ask me.
Thank you in advance.
Update:
I solved it by myself. After some tries it "accepted" the format I was trying to do (with SP Flash Tool) . Now I am flashing back my backup..

You can find the right rom for your device on needrom site and flash it again. Check the choice of download+format

Alcatel Idol X+ 6043d- Will Not Boot After Trying To Flash TWRP With SP Flash Tools

[HELP] Device(Alcatel Idol X+ 6043d) doesn't turn on after using SP Flash tools
Hello,
First of all I'd like to say that i almost have no idea about androids,i started "playing" and acting with them some weeks ago.So, I own a Alcatel One Touch Idol X+(6043d,16GB,Octa-core,Dual-sim,MTK MT6592) rooted and yesterday i was trying to use a custom recovery(TWRP) I found in the internet after much searching.I opened Flash tools, loaded the scatter file i created by mtk droid tools, clicked on recovery and found the image and then i pressed Download (Download only). After that an error popped like PMT changed and you have to download or something like that, so for some reason being stupid i tried another option called Format All + Download.I turned off my phone, connected it to the computer again and the downloading started. After a while it stopped and popped errors ( Am not sure of what it was, after some more searching probably it was enable dram failed or something like that) and till then when i disconnected the phone, it doesn't turn on not even in recovery mode like it's dead, it only shows the led battery charging when it's connected to pc.
Also when i connect it to the computer at first it just shows a MTK USB Port but then it just disconnects and randomly reconnects and this goes on.
After trying to fix it, I tried to download a stock ROM although am not sure if I managed to download the right one from needroms, but being a newbie I had problems like I am not sure how to flash a ROM(using flash tools, picking up the right files, downloading etc.) plus when I tried to load the scatter file it always said that it's invalid(I use the latest version of Flash tools).I also tried to install some vcom preloader drivers found as a solution in the internet but that doesn't help it just shows that they're not installed correctly.
I really need some help here about what to do, hope you'll help me.
Thanks

I also had the same problem and I also cried. Your phone have MediaTek MT6753 Chipset. I have MT6582. You flashed ROM via recovery and looks like ROM have conflict with bootloader.
SP Flash Tool can flash shutdown MTK devices via USB. Your computer show "UNRECOGNIZED USB". SP Flash Tool need special ROM and driver to find your phone. Not sure, that SP Flash Tool can help you, but it helped me.
How I decided problem:
I waited some time (I went sleep, it was night)
Found stock ROM for Flashtool. This ROM contain all data for device and have more size.
Install driver for my phone.
Pulled out battery.
Connect with computer via USB.
Put in battery and computer detected phone as "MediatekDevice". SP Flash tool also detected phone
Started flashing.
Good luck!

Need help with softbrick!

Hello, guys.
Recently, I've tried to root a Cubot Power 4G following a guide I found online. I probably should have been more catious about it, cause now the phone is stuck on a bootloop. I tried to install a custom recovery to try and fix this, but as there was no official twrp for Cubot, I once again downloaded something that was probably shady. Thus, now the phone is stuck on bootloop, won't access recovery mode, is now turned off because battery gave out, but if I try to connect it to the pc, it will start to bootloop again. I cannot access adb, or at the least I don't know a way to, since it keeps bootlooping and I have no way to access a recovery mode(since there's no one, or at the least, if there is, it's faulty). What can I do here?
@Giordyman
Re-flash phone's Stock ROM by means od MTK Flash Tool. You have to install the Mediatek VCOM drivers before on your Windows computer, if not done yet.

I did! Or so I think... The moment I connect it to the pc, it starts bootlooping and so the pc cannot actually connect there
Bootloop is a situation where you cannot get into the "normal" Android system. Take note that as soon Android logo is shown on phone's display Android kernel got successfully initialized, ADB & Fastboot are ready.
